Last couple months has been very difficult for crypto currency market so this is very hard to predict in this unpredictable market nevertheless as we know the whole crypto currency market depends on the momentum of Bitcoin so if BTC could able to make its new ATH then we may expect something like that with quality altcoins which are currently in dip and gives an open opportunity to make profit with them.
I think this will happen. Of course, this will not be the case for all coins, but we can see new aths in many altcoins. If bitcoin can make a price rise as we think after 1-2 months, this summer can be active for altcoins and we can see big rises once again. Nothing is impossible in cryptocurrencies, everything can change in two days
I don't think it will reach the ATH anytime soon. I think many people are dealing with other stuff first before investing in something. I think it's best to deal with this as an opportunity to increase your holdings with any type of coin. I'm sure it's one of the best ways to deal with this market. We need to be patient if we will be chasing profits or something.

It's not possible for this year. Im pessimistic with the market this time. There's no signal if there will be a big pump will happen soon. It needs a few years to reach the previous ATH and im thinking the same scenario will happen soon. The

Do you really think people over here can answer your question? You are asking questions no one can answer. If they knew the answer, they would all start investing in altcoins and become rich within the end of the year. The prices of Altcoins might or might not chase the previous ATH in 2022. Just invest or if you have already invested, then keep holding until it reaches the previous ATH. As long as you haven't invested in any shitcoin, you shouldn't worry about anything. In the long run good crypto currencies will give you some nice profit.
During the bearish market, the chance is so small. Im not even thinking if we will be going to be bullish again in short term. The market is already over-sold but due to various reasons and it's still on the bearish trend. SO many conflicts appeared since the war has begun. Touching the new ATH was not easy as you said and this needs a whole of market to be bullish again and bitcoin to claim another ATH which was around 70k to make it happen.

What altcoins? In 2022?
Hmm, I am not sure of this, for we know how the journey of the crypto market so fr at the beginning of this year. Although there may be a chance to rise up, it doesn't mean that they may have a bigger chance to hit the previous ATH. We need something more to push the altcoins to reach their previous ATH and it may be hard to be realized this year. Except, that Bitcoin may pass its previous ATH, commonly it will also be followed by most altcoins like previously.
But honestly, I personally also expect this
, but not a very high expectation because we are still on this kind of market situation. Just be patient, that's what I can say for myself.

We can't assume anything however it was very possible. The market is unpredictable as we know that. I may be relying on the history and upon seeing it, we can expect that the next Bullrun the prices are high compared to the last ATH. I may be wrong but having the basis of what happened before, a bigger chance that I was right. Well, of course, the demand seems growing and that it means a lot.

For a few of them that has something to offer I think they can surpass the ATH if there will be a bull run again this year. I was already seeing WAVES going that way that it goes more than 200% this month and the last. ETH, SOL, BNB, DOT, ADA, DOGE, or maybe even SHIB who knows.

I will just say that the chance are very slim for at least the top altcoins in the market to hit their previous or surpasses their all time high. The cycle is different right now, and majority thinks that we are in a bear market.
But for meme and shit coins, it's possible through by way of "pump and dump" scheme.
