I have been hearing about Kaspa a lot these days and some are saying it is a better version of Bitcoin so is Litecoin. Copying Bitcoin and improving the blockchain doesn't make Kaspa as Bitcoin 2.0. The only benefit I can see about Kaspa is that it is easy to mine and has a market price. If anyone wants to minie this new copy cat of Bitcoin then they should go ahead before this project also dues and fade away like other altcoins. Ultimately except a few a lot Bitcoin copy cat have already got extint before they could replace Bitcoin or challenge it's existence.

kaspa is kaspa, bitcoin is bitcoin, you can't say that someone impersonating you is you, right? and so with this kaspa, even though it has supply, pow, and various other things that are similar to bitcoin, that doesn't make it bitcoin 2.0, because there is no such thing as bitcoin 2.0

but i can say that the features they offer are quite interesting, where the transaction speed is above bitcoin. but even so we cannot say that people will choose that coin because its security and credibility are not guaranteed and it is not decentralized like bitcoin.

Kaspa isn't the only cryptocurrency that has levels of similarities with Bitcoin.

But do you know what these cryptocurrencies don't have? Actual decentralization that could survive a nation-state attack.

Bitcoin's decentralization: no leaders
Other crypto's decentralization: multiple leaders
This is right maybe Kaspa is quite running smoothly now but for sure there are big holders or premine of this coins or teams tokens so its not really good if those people dump on holders then the price could eventually go down. Im not into minign but if you incorporate trading with this, surely it will affect the price especially there are plenty of miners of kaspa for sure who wanted to roi their investment.

The bitcoin throne behind a very sophisticated function and for me a pioneer in the world of crypot curency has very good trust to date, so the price of bitcoin continues to recover towards and beyond 2021, yes ath all-time high. This Kaspa I see doing pembelin on its internal website with currencies in various countries so there are options, haven't stopped selling internally? I didn't make a wallet because I'm not interested at the moment. Maybe cex is also available with existing pairs. Graphite shows Q4 2023 experiencing a very drastic pump X10 from the previous month, if compared to BItcoin for me it is still far away because it is more worthy of being compared to solana or maybe SHIBB in accelerating the percentage increase, I don't see anything that can be valued more, but if there is a side fund like it is worth waiting for the bull run.

Many statements that there are those who will kill bitcoin and surpass such as YFI in terms of price, the fact is that it slumped 10X dump due to trust and panic sells maybe, or other altcoins such as ETH and bnb maybe in the past there were so optimistic, but the legend is difficult to subvert because bitcoin is a unique and very amazing currency, If copycats want to subvert bitcoin it is a big dream, although it may happen in the future, but I still have a special view on bitcoin.

First time hearing about Kaspa Coin So just imagine that, like me, many others still don't know about that coin. Then how would it be Bitcoin 2? I am pretty sure you are Shilling their project. There are a lot of similar coins, even hard forks of Bitcoin. But sadly, they didn't become Bitcoin 2 or something similar. Each coin would have individual features; it's not necessary that they compete with or replace the bitcoin. All blockchains won't be secure like Bitcoin, which is truly decentralised. So it is better not to compare any other coins with Bitcoin at all.

From the past few years I listened that etherium would be next bitcoin but until now didn't reach to the price of bitcoin I think bitcoin will be king of cryptocurrency at all the time so we shouldn't compare any coin with bitcoin.
Because bitcoin can never die as we saw how many times it's fall down but again they have a big run from all.

Lol. That's not Bitcoin 2.0. You can probably consider it shitcoin 500,000.00. Lol. If you want to use Bitcoin as its reference, then you can consider it Bitcoin 300,000 point ow. Lol.

Seriously, shitcoins should stop using this kind of promotion. It only makes their project cheaper, something less innovative and just a mere copycat. They better be mentioning their own unique and helpful features.

And this marketing strategy that calls their coins Bitcoin 2.0 or Bitcoin or Ethereum killer is so old and obsolete. They need to think of another one that would sell.

I don't think so, because no matter how well Kaspa works, it is impossible to match Bitcoin's achievements, both in terms of capacity, decentralization and even the network it provides.  Even though sometimes the Kaspa network is better than Bitcoin, it still has many shortcomings, therefore I personally prefer ethereum as a replacement investment for Bitcoin.
thats right, i think many people forget the fact that its not the matter of how much block processed a second that determine the next bitcoin, bitcoin will always be the digital gold, its the first ever cryptocurrency released and if there's some capability that trying to be implemented by other coin doesn't necessarily will become replacement for bitcoin, lets be real here, kaspa might have capability of smart contract and so on, but so does bitcoin fork, also so does the bitcoin L2 even right now there's inscription ordinal that kinda acts like smart contract and after all that bitcoin is still number one anyway.
bitcoin being considered a digital gold because it is, it dominates the market because i think its definitely the only cryptocurrency being considered as the best, like how people consider gold to be the best despite there are many precious metal other than gold.
my point being though, doesn't matter how good the tech of other coin is, bitcoin will always be number 1.

They have maximum total supply, like Bitcoin
PoW like Bitcoin
Halvings like Bitcoin.

10 blocks per second on Testnet vs. 1 block per 10 minutes on Bitcoin

You can scan QR code. In 0.1 second block is created. In 1 second 10 confirmations. And you don't even need these 10 blocks. Because if several blocks are created at the same time - they all are added. So if you get into a block. This block can't be cancelled by other blocks.

Testnet. 10bps
http://104.11.218.91:8080/

Mainnet. 1bps
https://explorer.kaspa.org/

Bitcoin. But a real-time method of payment. What do you think?
There has been numerous copycat saying this already but it dies out over the years but Bitcoin remains at the top. There's nothing like Bitcoin 2.0 because there will only one Bitcoin, yeah that was the term they use just to promote the coin but they will remain Kaspa. It may have surge in price and we may see it as a trend but for me that's not another Bitcoin.

basic rules. NEVER look for any "second bitcoin". it doesn't exist, it practically cannot exist.
any coins that promote themselves as "second bitcoin" is likewise a scam.
Pay attention that some of these aspects highlighted in this coin are something "pretty common".

Is Kaspa a new altcoin in the cryptocurrency ecosystem space? Because this the first time I am hearing this and the coins is even doing good in the market. It rating $0.0996 from the Coingecko. But the matter what it can't compare to bitcoin even though it has the features and characteristics of bitcoin. This can't be a decentralized in nature and there is no whitepaper in this token which you said looks like bitcoin.
Look at the project site https://kaspa.org/

now that the price is down. i think i'm going to start buying some of KAS. probably after the bull season, mining KAS will be a good start also.

i only heard of the coin when the price touched $0.14 months before Jan. i think the project could be huge in the coming years so its best to just be prepared after all the price can be this low yet and nothing can be wasted when we sell and buy back when time comes.

Yeah, even I am hearing about it for the first time and the OP thinks it is bitcoin 2.0.
Some people still believe there is a coin that will be replace btc some day, but even if this will happen, it will take a long time.
Despite the popularity btc has gained through out the years, there are still many who have not yet get involved.  Btc has not fully being legally accepted yet. So thinking another coin will become btc 2.0 just is unrealistic.

PoS is just centralized fake my friend. Ethereum is not real anymore.
PoW is real and PoW only. Bitcoin is slow PoW. And Kaspa is fast PoW. Kaspa is Bitcoin 2.0

You can call PoS centralized or whatever you want go ahead. But let's not act as if Kaspa is the first blockchain to sacrifice decentralization for more speed even with PoW.

You know what's funny? I don't think Kaspa is even trying to go against Bitcoin. Kaspa is a smart contract platform.

Look at it, i advice it for everyone. This coin is really fast PoW. That was considred to be impossible. That's why PoS appeared.
And now that we have fast PoW i hope all pos trash dies.

Cryptocurrencies didn't move/use PoS because of speed, they used PoS because their users didn't need to use huge amounts of hardware power, but mostly rather internet bandwidth. A perfect example being Ethereum — it didn't speed up with their switch from PoW to PoS at all.

definitely not, its just trying to present us best of both worlds, PoW and Smart contract, but frankly speaking even ETC is also PoW based with smart contract even though it has its share of vulnerability experiencing 51% attack.
though I don't think kaspa will be bitcoin 2.0 but so far kaspa has implemented quite good technology that I guess help it get some pump in these recent times.

No it isn’t, Kaspa is not Bitcoin 2.0 but is Kaspa 1.0 Cheesy I find it somewhat interesting how altcoins are trying to match up with Bitcoin and are fond of making comparisons. OP, Bitcoin is unique and nothing is like it at the moment. Altcoins are called altcoins for a reason. Just the fact that the creators of Bitcoin are unknown beats these Altcoins, let alone many other things like total supply, decentralization, etc. Compare Kaspa with its peers and leave Bitcoin for now. Grin
I think people are trying hard to compare it with bitcoin just because it still retains PoW for validating each blocks therefore many people are interested in it thinking it would be bitcoin 2.0 and also the fact that it got smart contract might means its bitcoin with added ethereum capability, well to be fair, bitcoin will never get overtaken by such coin though.
there's reason why bitcoin could still dominate despite doesn't really designed for smart contract.

In a technological perspective Kaspa can be called a hybrid version of bitcoin and ETH combined. It has similarities with bitcoin but one thing is missing, and that is the decentralization of bitcoin network. We can build a copycat bitcoin network, even though it can be better than the bitcoin network but the decentralization that the bitcoin network has can not be achieved by any project. It took bitcoin a long time to come to this stage, and most of the projects didn't survive this long.
