I agree with your observation mate, KucoinPlay is not an alternative of typical bitcointalk bounties, with its too small reward system. It is like a gamble to anybody who joins because they only paid those who made it to the top and what about those who didn't that was unfair to all that participated. if they are not made it to the top their sweat and effort will be vaporized.

Future of Bitcointalk forum is no doubt will increase in the future. If i'm not mistaken kucoin has been held the bounties several times and most of it only for the top traders which is this giveaway might be successfully for them because can increase their volume of market and upcoming bounties also have bigger rewards but only those who lucky can get the rewards and i think this is not new evolution of bounties but it's not more than crypto exchange giveaway and might be the difference is the rewards itself that the amount is certain unlike thr payment from ordinary altcoin bounties which is the rewards so uncertain
Probably just another bounty here in this community, I haven't seen any bounty so far that has really gain some traction like in 2017. Maybe it will gain some popularity because it is "Kucoinplay", but I doubt it will bring the needed respite to bounty because there are so many of them right now and who knows, maybe one or two will not be that popular but will become one of the successful projects in 2020. I guess it still boils down as whether investors are willing to put their hard earn money in the worsening altcoin market.
No, the future of bitcointalk is certain. The projects that do advertise is the one that has an uncertain future and it's being on the process right now which shall determine their future. And with kucoinplay, I haven't seen it yet but if there's a platform like that which bounty hunters will have a chance to make money by the projects they hold then it's a good opportunity for most of them isn't it?
Of course, hunters will always be a part of every opportunity of a certain project. We only based the results on the effect of an advertised platform, which promoted a promising idea. It only depends on how the community works along the way. There's no control over it because of volatile market after a project is launched at different exchanges.

I believe it will possible to get into top500 as soon as Kucoin staff get rid of fake referrals and bot-farmers. Top1 has ~46k points, thats around 575 refferals without other task sumbissions, while 500th has ~15.2k = 189 refferals. Lets say the average ref. amount is equal to 200, thats 100k new registered accounts just for the top500 participants @USDT competition... It is not impossible to reach top 500, it is only difficult and if you have enough referrals, then you can give it a try

I do not know why you say kucoinplay hold potential bounties, the kucoin airdrop/bounty is more like a lottery, where only top 500 are winners and other participants just have to hope, thats not the typical bounty i can agree with.

KuCoinPlay reward is absolutely certain. I joined 1 million USDT event, at first day i worked for some task just boring things, bounty is better than it. Basically, i hate such giveaway there a lot of spammers manipulating for gain more points. My work done in another few events but i did not get payment. Top 500 participant will be paid but joined almost 160k people what the hell.

KucoinPlay is literally the battle of referalls and bot-farms, it's kinda pointless to retweet, like, share and visit kucoin sites to get 10-30 points, while each referall gives someone 80 points. At the same time these referalls bring no profit for listed projects, the only one who get profit, userbase and free traffic is Kucoin
