Explain please about margin trading,on Bitmex for example, on this red market,is the best way to make some profit - to make short positions with margin and then long and repeat and repeat?
Because we see the same situation during the whole month, rally up and down.

Margin trading is really having big risk because trading with bigger margins always involve emotions to come in your way of profits where you will damn take  trades with your emotions and in most of the trades you will lose money. I would request you all to take trades with proper planning and with proper money management if you are involving in Margin trading. Even I lost $1000 of my capital in just a few minutes of trading when I took my first trade in 2010 and at that time I was just disappointed on myself and after that, I took trading very seriously.

This question is really a "newbie" question.Just don`t get involved into any type of trading before you get enough knowledge about the market. You have to determine your trading strategy and your portfolio.
Do you wanna be a day trader,or you want to trade for the long run profits?
Margin trading isn`t for newbies.

With the right and original approach, any business can be made with profit. My friend is engaged in margin trading and as far as I know it earns well. If necessary, I can give his contact.

any type of trading can be profitable as long as you have enough experience using that trading method. otherwise if you have not done it ever before you won't be able to make any kind of profit.
i personally wouldn't call margin trading "the best" as you put it in your comment but it is an option that many like. the key is predicting how low the altcoins are going to get dumped. and that's the hard part.

Bitmex is good trading platform to trade futures contract with margin, but i think use not more than 5 x leverage is better to avoid big loss, and for beginner is also much better to use 1 x leverage first. Higher margin is mean higher risk and reward, and if you are not ready with the risk is better use low leverage and dont gambling with your money.

It can be very profitable but it is also very risky, more risky than normal trading. Many people have lost huge amounts of coins with margin trading, it is surely very risky  Sad
