I was following his Twitter account. However, of late it has been inactive. The last tweet was made almost an year ago.

Most likely he is still in the jail. I think he better stays there as many are still after an explanation from him, the moment he is out of the prison.
He's out. Got out a long time ago. In Japan, they go pretty soft on guys if they say sorry and bow down. Pretty much a slap on the wrist is enough. I think Mark is in Monaco on the beach now.They don't announce it because they don't want others to know how easy life is for criminals in Japan.

I haven't heard much about this guy for a long time. Is he still in jail? Is he due in court some time soon? Has he already been convicted? There's not alot of info out there. I'm willing to bet he ain't as fat as he used to be.
I think he is, there were some news lately and I think the trials wasn't even over yet or something. I think he will be out of jail faster than we can imagine, for some reason that's what I think. He will probably be out in 10 years and if he wasn't a total idiot he should have kept some Bitcoins hidden away from anyone where he can only find them, and in 10 years anyone holding something like 50 BTC will be rich as hell so that should be enough to retire.
