I don't think is scam, I also just noticed that nem was aggressive to swings their value in the exchange sites which bittrex and poliniex. My thoughts, NO at the moment.
Being pumped a lot (if there is) doesn't mean it will become a scam eventually. Maybe because others are taking advantage thinking it will pumped more. Also it was being sleep for a long time. NEM price movement are just having a good run after it was idle at around 300-400 satoshis for months after their quite big price increase happen last year.
Lol, no pump this is correction for previous under valuation. If you look at Zaif it is even higher
