Little wonder a music artist sang a song titled "Nigeria jaga jaga". I wonder what our founding fathers would be thinking where ever they are now watching as things go wrong in the nation they fought very hard for her independence and freedom.
Anyways, is is true that this country is not the only one going through rough times now and I can say this that there are some countries out there that are far much worst than Nigeria as a nation but are covering it up so that nobody or foreign nationals would hear about it.

It is known that laws are only meant for the poor as igebotz has said and if you must be able to be amongst the class above the law, then work and walk your way through to the top only then you can be able to speak the parables of the law.

Not justifying it but it baffles me when some Nigerians think that this kind of judiciary oppression happens only in Nigeria, No it happens everywhere, the powerful would always go limit to get favourable judgement.
Normally e dey happen for every country, like I said earlier, Na just say wetin we use our eyes witness na him we go even yarn cos I believe say during that time when dey announce election result even the US President dey against the result and him call for peaceful election no be say e no dey happen for there but this our own no dey hidden under the sun, it was don by crook or by force in what ever which way.

Rules are made for the poor; whatever you do make sure you have enough money cause your freedom depends on it. Grin
Exactly as u talk am, rules are made to govern the poor and made in favor of those who have the money, even after breaking the rule dey come with sweet music to our ears and we clap for them more cos even  a poor man is no longer save in the hands of a judge.

My wonderful country where men of substance are above the law. You cannot have a lawsuit with any politian and you win.
The incorruptible judge is now corrupt. If you sue any politician in this country even when it is obvious that they are guilty and wanting, they court will find no charge against them and if you are not careful you the common man will be indicted. I shed tears to know and live in a country where the rich can take what belongs to you and you remain defenceless. Where is the principle of equality as it is shown and demonstrated on the law symbol weighing equal and on the same level so also on lady justice which is blind and having a equal scale in her hands.
The earlier we start accepting the obvious the better for us and even the holy book once made it very clear that money answereth all things and with this saying, it seems money supersedes the law and there is nothing anyone can do else the world would hav me been a better place.
Have you ever had a reflection that even the position of the chief judge of the federation is by appointment? That very position is a very crucial position and ought not to have been by appointment because it seems the judge will have to dance to every music played for him by his employer and how do you expect transparency in such situation?
The legislative arm of the government is supposed to be an independent body but it doesn’t seem that way over here and th me roach will always take massive advantage of that.

Truth be told this kind of corruption doesn't only happen in Nigeria but in so many other countries in the world and secondly we know that our country is corrupt but perhaps if some countries should tell you what there government has subjected them into you will realize that Nigeria is even somehow better than other countries, so actually regardless of how civilized and organized most countries is, it will be difficult to win a politician in a court because he may easily have his way around everything, so lets not only channel that on Nigeria because is not the only country doing that and also I have listing to news across the country with similar issues so Nigeria is not the first.

Nigeria has gotten to a level that politicians have used money to make the law as something that they can break and go free, and now they do what they feel like to do because they know that the law is nothing to them. The people I blame for this are our lawyers whom allowed themselves to be used by politicians with no integrity just becof money. If our politicians can try thier best not to allow money to be a trap for them by politicians I don't think politicians will have that kind to toy with the law.

Our country nigeria is a lawless country their is nothing like law, and we are not practicing any rule of law because many things has happened in nigeria and the hope of every person was depends on judiciary but none be avail because the peoples mandate was being hijacked, so if it a place where law is being practiced and exercise I don't too much corruption would have not taken nigeria, law can be exercise for only those who don't have someone that will speak for them, I believe that many people do not know how law works in nigeria because they have not be victim, that is why they think that nigeria is practicing law

Na why e make sense if you mo get money then avoid problem. The law is still functioning actively but it is only for those who are affected by it. People who do not have enough money to pay for connections. The question is will the intimmidation of power stop.

Politics now is a game, who plays best wins, depends on your financial stand as it will be used over the other. We can see the Nigeria election and how dey keep moving from court to court, what is the result has it ever been positive.

This is not just a problem faced by only Nigerians but countries out there faces this kind of problem as well, every politicians do not want to see their down fall and will go any extent to compromise with the judge on their own benefit

Nigeria can never seize to amaze me, of a truth the uncorruptable is even now the most corrupt. Talking about the politicians directly is going too far, one's a person has money than the other then you see how everything is being manipulated, very difficult or through the grace of the Almighty you see truthful judgment but yes it happens here in the midst of the corrupt, just few is willing to be honest.

Politicians are people of respect in the public and they have more influence. This is not only happening in Nigeria but all over the world. Also it is like you are comparing someone that is very rich and influential to a poor person. Sometimes if the politician or the rich man knows that he (the politician) is wrong, he bribes/settle the victim with huge amount of money and case closed. Although, life can be disappointing for the poor and he or she may feel cheated. Not only happening in Nigeria but all over the world.

If you look critically at the judicial arm of government of this we country, you go lose hope because, no promise of better Dey evident in the system.
I read news online and I see hope in Judiciary. Judiciary is better than those lawmakers and executive which are the two that supposed to be blamed for most things that is happening in the country.

The law don tell you say, it’s interpretation at that time of the proceedings/judgement, na watin the law bee be that. It creates room for manipulation of the law and the judicial arm of government don take am as a means to dance to the tune of the highest bidder.
A national where, the focal point of the election na say make you enter the seat first, after that, court go justify the means in a way the illegal means would be made legal and just.

You no just fit get hope but, e no go sure say make you no see the bright light at the end of the tunnel. Man without hope is nothing and you can’t afford to be nothing. Na life be that!

The judiciary system that is supposed to serve as a superior institution against the governments that is supposed to maintain Justice and equity with a constituted call of umpires with the capacities to influence the political system has been hijacked by the same political bodies.
Hence the judges now gives scripted and affirmed judgements according to the wills and mandates of the corrupted governments. So likely, the judiciary is also affectedly corrupted with briberies and surrounded with a monumental fears to give justify able judgements as fairly supposed to be.
So the government is now been again the which then stands that laws of the government's and the judiciaries is only existence with the poor masses.
A shame to the judiciary where the law court and judicial system has become a system of injustice bathed with corruptions

Nigeria get law wey dey function well but the problem right now the law no dey affect who get influence for Nigeria, even some of the politicians dey fall for law maybe for money embezzlement and police dey arrest them when I observe the law matter na few people dey control the law and it's not right for the society. Na the misuse of law dey affect the country now cause why will the constitution state that no bribery but na the country still dey suffer from bribery and corruption.
The simple truth be say law go hold me and you if we are find guilty but it will never hold some group of people cause the system is already corrupt, if you think say Nigeria no get law please change your thought and it's best to obey the law than proven stubbornness

Incase you doubt if the Nigerian government still upholds the rule of law, steal something as cheap as 50 Naira and be caught. Pray not to get lynched before the law enforcement agencies, particularly the police save you.

The law is easily bent for those with more money or who have the money on the spot to bail themselves out from the calamity they find themselves in.

The rule of law is still very much intact, but one has to know their rights and try as much as possible to keep proper evidence or proof of the right thing, so as not to fall victim of the ills that befall breaking the rules already set in place.

Op this thing is getting worse more than the way we are seeing it oo because not only the politicians even you as a rich man nobody you can't control even the law itself it in their hands and whereby some of our politicians seems to be controlled by the rich men too because they lend them money for campaign and you know they must be a payback. We all know what happening in this country, corruption is the most aspect which has to be controlled. They just need our vote nothing else again. If we should unite together cast a vote not by collecting bribe from others am very sure many issues will be solved

My brother, wattin you talk  na so e dey happen now, the on wey pain me pass naim be justice so, even for th justice statue Dem supposed don commot that scale balance and blind fold for the lady justice statue because these days, na so so partiality we dey experience for the hand of judges. Dem say the blind fold na for impartial justice while the scale na for weight of evidence, but both with evidence and other things, Dem still dey make judge based on wattin dem like. the justice system isn't fair anymore, it's only for the rich and the highest bidder. Make I back up wattin I dey talk, normally for Nigeria na 8 years be the maximum wey person fit operate for some political position, like governor, president etc. but for bayelsa state the APC candidate, timipre Silva don first rule for 1 year but Dem come commot am say em election been no dey free and fair, later e come contest again and e come win, e come rule for 4 years. And now e still dey come out to rule for another 4 years wey go make am 9 years, and person come go sue to court say e no go fit work, yet the court say, based on say no be e fellow political aspirant say the matter no go anywhere. Though Dem still win am Sha, but that court statement dey very wrong, irrespective of the person wey sue you to court.

Money don make the principle of equality dey imbalance. Na so we see the country.

It is unfortunate that in Nigeria, law is not respected and people dey do anything wey dem like. The only set of people wey the law dey knack na those wey no fit buy the law but if you fit buy the law den na you go dey run things. We see how the election of president take go and dem say go to court because dem no say law no go matter.

If you think the rule of law isn't functional in the country, go and fault an obvious law and allow yourself to be caught by the law enforcement agency and that's when you will know that Nigeria has law and that breaking it will put you in serious trouble.

Have you asked the likes of Goodwin emefiele, abakiara and a whole lot of politician that where put under bar because they where found wanting in the bridge of the law of the land.

You can do anything and go out free as long as you're not caught but if you allow yourself to be caught, you go know say to stay for kirikiri no be play.

I know that some politician do use their influence and money to will the whole judgement to their favour but ones anything goes wrong, na their body de tell them
