There are two kinds of articles found on internet,

The one is called a news
and
The other is called prediction

I know the news articles tell the market movement in an opposite manner where a trader can predict that should he enter into market or should he leave

But the 2nd, those are called the prediction articles are real which tell the market movement in the kind of trading analysis, but today I found some prediction articles on the web and decided not to invest in litecoin or I should leave the market as the market is in the bearish trend. But is not a scam ?

If the fucking anchor cannot write an article based on the trading chart then atleast he should write an article in the form of news.

In the first place, not all news are 100% true, before exposing it, they edited first the news in which they are going to expose in the community.
Then, prediction always came from the speculation by the individuals. So, it is still better to believe on what you are seeing it in the actual happen anyway.

I wouldn't take these sorts of predictions seriously at all, but rather conduct your own TA and decide for yourself where things are going.
I actually do take them serious because they function as counter indicator. If the big players are telling you that the price will increase and you should invest, you should expect the price to plummet, which it yet again did.

Goldman Sachs came out with their relatively bullish prediction some days ago, which should be something that raises questions. Since when are these wall street banks bullish on Bitcoin? Probably only when they want to sell.

Tom Lee has surprisingly been quiet for a while now. I would have expected him to come up with a bullish market analysis by now, especially with how active the market is. Roll Eyes

Not a Scam. Those assumptions that people Express is just their personal opinion and no one forces someone to follow it. Same thing with the news. Follow them or not everyone decides for himself.

Media channels can say whatever they think, as long as they don't affect the law.
Therefore, that is why there are so many news sites that always make the judgment unaware and not close to the truth.
that's why we shouldn't believe the predictions of journalists. Sometimes they only create articles just to complete their tasks in a day.

A lot of predictions recently (and in general) by 'cryptocurrency experts' never really work out fully or even go in the direction the experts predict, and it doesn't help that a lot of them predict ludicrous price targets like $200k and even higher, often with pretty limited justification for why their scenarios should work out. I wouldn't take these sorts of predictions seriously at all, but rather conduct your own TA and decide for yourself where things are going.

Prediction articles are real for markets that are less volatile, but for a market that is this volatile, I have always relied more on news, which indirectly here, you are comparing technical analysis to fundamental analysis, and I really don’t think technical analysis works more.  Crypto is more of speculative market, and since it is a speculative market, it will be difficult for technical analysis to really predict what will happen within the next few hours or days.

If anyone is to enter the market, aside the fact that we have people that just guess prices a lot, I think we have to watch out for news, the moment we have a positive news about a particular crypto, it always tend to cause fomo that will increase the value of such coin and vice versa also.

Will stop relying on the news as most of them are just a fake, some of them don't have a strong basis and they're saying of what is in their mind just like we did. And also prediction might do as well. For the sake of being safe and not being scammed, it is better to have our own market understanding and do market prediction solely.

I think there are paid ones as well or rich people who are in one direction that wants attention so they can tell their direction as the good one and get more money. A whale in crypto world and CEO of a big crypto company getting attention is not new, plus there are a lot of people like Tim Draper or tom lee and what not that have been always bullish these are all predictions not because they actually predict it will go that way but because they are long on bitcoin and they want all of you to be long on bitcoin to make themselves more money.

Aside from that there are unknown people or people who are semi known in crypto world who does the same thing, hell there are ones that actually take out a small margin leverage before they do an interview and then tell their opinion to make more profit thanks to it.

dont trust on that kind of stuff mate because sometimes it's not reliable due to some fuds around the internet .  Wherein much better to make your own research and technical analysis to assure your safe and to reduce risk situation. Be practucal when it comes making decisions!

News and prediction are two different things. They are not the same. News mean articles were they update us with current events and activities. News can be false, manipulative or true. Not sure what do you mean by "tell market movement in an opposite manner"?
Predictions on the other hand are some guessing that are done based on data collected. Again, predictions can be wild guesses. So you shouldn't always follow those predictions when investing. If predictions go wrong, this does not mean the article was a scam.

I understand what you are feeling, news like this:

AUG 05, 2019

Keiser: Bitcoin Could Cross $15,000 This Week, No Trust in Centralization

tomorrow is thursday and the price is $10200 ( It's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't seen anything of $ 15000 ), that sounds like a big joke, other prediction:

AUG 09, 2019

Bitcoin Price Will Hit $250K by Q1 2023 Despite Consolidation, Says Tim Draper

also sounds like a big joke. that's why I understand your feeling

Mostly predictions came from news and some from pump dump groups. But I have not follow that kind of predictions. Most if predictions are fake and likely scam. Innocent people's fall in that trap and whales are making money. Better to do your own research about current market conditions. Perhaps sometimes news effect on price especially for Altcoins. It doesn't mean always you will gain by that. So better do your own diligence.

There are also two kinds of actions when you encounter certain news or prediction:

a) You will buy it
b) You will ignore it

Bottom line: You have to learn to analyze on your own without relying too much on news or predictions. Yes, you can make it as a reference but in the end, it's on your own hands how to deal on those. You will soon realize if a certain prediction does make sense or just a total sh*t after all.

News is something let un know aout the actual condition of the market and the predictions were based on the news related to cryptos and other global economic conditions. It might come trust for short term effectiveness but no one can predict the prices for long term using news or any other source we have.

About litecoin you were asking it might be the opinion of his own but other analyst will have different opinion. So its not a scam it shows how unpredictable market it is.

The word "Scam" doesnt fit out on the entire thing being discussed on op.These news outlets didnt take any money from you yet losing money will just vary on your own decision. If you tend or decide to follow up to those news that they had published.

This is what i dont believe much on fundamentals either a prediction or economic one but somehow you can use up these things to have your basis regarding on your trading actions.

Scam or not, you will see it later. But if the price is at the low price and we are still in the bear market, I think it is a good time to buy the coin because you never find those low price again in the future. But that will be your decision to buy or not because you need to check your money first before you buy any coin. The best thing that you can do after reading any news is you don't panic and stay calm so you can see what is happening in the market and you can decide later.

I highly doubt that the writer of that article was a part of those whales, who was trying to manipulate the market and make FUD news regarding the market situation. Whatever it is don't trust any author that not well known and trying to destroy the image of crypto because they are not worth nothing. Nevertheless, that is a piece of misleading information, not a scam. Just simple, do not listen to them we have here a forum who talk a right value of crypto and the market situation.

I don't think they were part of the whales, but they were paid by the whales to make FUD news. Well, we know that whales have many ways to make money in the market, they have a big influence when selling and buying. I also agree that do not listen to news that does not make sense with what we predict, because we have a full decision on what we invest.

I wouldn't call it blatantly scamming people because it is a prediction and if you believed those guys and they missed their prediction then it's your own fault. There is also so called fake news so no matter what you do, there will be people who have their own selfish motives so you should learn how to read between the lines.

We are in the world wherein its dog fight, everyone will take advantage of every situation. It's up to you on how to react to news and predictions and play the victim of pure manipulation.

We have to live with that, Investing in Cryptocurrency is so popular that every investor's traders or those involved small or big investors, want to have the news as it comes, be it news or a prediction.

You did not post the link of the article so we can see if those are really speculation or news, right now the hardest thing to do is to decipher the rumors to a fact.
