Maybe if the derivative market was denominated and traded against XRP instead of USD, which isn't going to happen.

I don’t think Ripple is able to reach $10,000 by 2020. The banks will create its own crypto coins instead of using ripple coins. What the banks want is the technology behind Ripple, not the ripple coin. If you want to be a millionaire by then, you are better of investing in real crypto currencies.
I think banks are backing the ripple and due to which their are so many banks which have come together to use this technology and ripple as a coin for their use. So I do not think every bank will start creating their own coin to use their services instead they will go with the existing one which is already being used and easy to use.
I think Ripple will probably reach $100 by 2020, that's by far a very big leap in price already. It has a very large market cap and I agree that because of this, it will be hard to move prices up or down.

The coin itself is worthless and cant do nothing. If you are looking for good coins to invest look at neo, ven, wabi, icon, aion, elf. These are good coins with a solid project.

I don’t think Ripple is able to reach $10,000 by 2020. The banks will create its own crypto coins instead of using ripple coins. What the banks want is the technology behind Ripple, not the ripple coin. If you want to be a millionaire by then, you are better of investing in real crypto currencies.
Although I highly doubt that Ripple will reach $5,000 so soon because of its market cap (HUGE), it's not impossible for it to reach $50-$200 by 2020.

I got around 126 ripple at the moment and I'm just wondering if they will turn me into a millionaire in the next two years.
I personally believe that they will and that anyone reading this should invest into ripple.

They will buy all the ripple and they will pay whatever amount is needed just to get the technology for themselves.

We watched it go from 0.19 to almost 5$ in the span of just a few weeks, I don't see why bigger growth isn't possible and don't tell me about the market cap- people were bickering about it on a dollar and ripple dumpstered it without any issues.

They are majorly governed by banks and as many mentioned banks don't let people make money they only think about themselves.

In my portfolio there are Ripples, and I keep them from the very beginning of sales. If they cost as much as you wrote - I'll be rich.
I am sure that a price on ripl will not rise to 10000$. Before to write such - analyse the market of ryptocurrencies & understand why it is impossible.
I think it's impossible because it is controlled by Central Banks and we can see their progress on Market, nothing special since they price pumped to USD2

Who knows what could happen. People have been predicting about bitcoin prices and says its impossible to reach 10K yet here we are watching charts hoping it will drop to at least 5k so we can buy even just a single btc.
Banks are far richer than anyone else in this world. If they sum up their money, they could buy all continent if its just for sale. $10K however is too much in 2020 though maybe 2050+ or so.

It took Bitcoin about 4 years to get from $150 to $10000 and that was without having a monitorized flow. In that same time, a 4 year period, Ripple went from $0,006 to an all time high of $3. No, it will not even go past $5 probably, but if you invest smart you might make a small profit.
well your argument is at least strange. You are saying that Ripple went from 0,006$ to 3$ (500x) and bitcoin went from 150$ to 10000$ (66x) and that it proves Ripple cannot do better than bitcoin. I am not buying it.While some people expect bitcoin to grow as much as 100x more in a few years time (Kaspersky predicts it to be a million in 2020), I think the same is doable by any other crypto. So maybe Ripple will not go up to 10,000; but it theoretically could go up to 100-300$ in a few years.
