Yes, it is definitely a controversial topic. But, I think SOL's hot days are over. So I don't expect spikes from now on. So, is it as reliable an investment as ethereum or bitcoin? No, I don't think so.
If Solana will ever reach its all-time high again, yes for me, it is a good investment. In the last year 2021, Solana is one of the many top movers during the bull market, from 1 digit to 3 digits in just a short period of time.
For me, Solana is still a good alternative on the Ethereum network right now because of the high transaction fees on the Ethereum network, if Ethereum will still not solve that problem, people for sure will still stay on Solana or will get its new users.

If looking for an ethereum alternative, I think BNB is also a good alternative, even better than solana, the solana network has too many bugs and they can't seem to fix the problem.
The only problem on ethereum is the high fees but in return it has a much more secure and decentralized network than solana. Large projects that still choose the ethereum blockchain as a starting place show that their faith is still very strong in ethereum.
Solana stood out for making an impressive ATH in 2021, but since then it's been consistently crashing and nothing outstanding. Sol is still a potential layer 1 project, as long as it can fix the current problems, it still deserves to be the fastest blockchain today.

, some of the news is network throttle when solana is claim their network is much faster than any other chain even faster than visa but as far as I'm using Solana is powerful enough there is dozen of nft and gamefi project that host on solana chain.

I will never ever use Solana again for payments, one of the main reasons is network congestions. that's insanely annoying last time i made a Solana payment it took me like 15 minutes resending the same payment again from my exodus wallet

Who knows if it even can break its previous ATH. But a network with filled of a lots of error and bugs. Maybe choosing another could be a good options. Im not saying its a bad project but been into top 10 means there some potential to it. Maybe if they can really fix their platform and not just a band aid solution they could touch new ATH.

I'm not sure if the solana will rebound in 2022 because the market is still in the bull market so it doesn't look like the price will increase yet. All coins will see the movement of bitcoin first because as the center of cryptocurrency, all coins will move wherever bitcoin moves. So if bitcoin hasn't been able to hit prices higher than it is now, it looks like altcoins haven't been able to either, except maybe some altcoins will get a pump that will happen for a while to attract more investors. 
There's a lot of speculation here about whether Solana's price will go up, I think, but it's just a certain moment like a few months ago, when Solana was pumping, and not so many people realized it, so basically waiting for that moment to come back.
So many times people have been asking this questions. I guess if you wanna spend a few minutes in your life to dig some old thread and you may find another thread that has similar thing with it, solana was a major coin that has been decreasing a lot to the bottom due to the bearish trend.

Since you are only thinking about what it may happen to Solana during the rest of this year then I'll probably say that this is not really a good moment to invest in it, now if you were interested in investing in this coin for the long term and you were interested in making it a part of a balanced portfolio then it will make sense to invest a little bit of your capital in Solana at this moment, but even then there will be a high risk associated with doing something like this as the opinion of the community regarding Solana can differ greatly from traders a trader.

Some analysts say Solana will pump like crazy soon, some analysts say it will stay relatively stable in the near and mid term future and other analysts finally say that Solana will go down in terms of the price. To be honest i really would not give those analysts to much credit. Especially if they are just crypto influencers because 99% of them are not neutral, they just want to shill their own bag. In most cases they get access to investments into the seed or private round of a new project, which means they get the tokens way cheaper than normal people once the token becomes tradeable and for that they need to shill this project obviously.

I have read several similar posts about Solana investment.Well, actually Solana is one of the most successful coins created before this bearish era. Many companies use this network for any transaction. This is considered to compete with Ethereum much, moreover this offers a lower fee for transactions. Now we can see several exchanges also provide Solana network for transferring.
If the utility is continuous and used many more, yes, I tink that this is worthy enough. But, ensure that you don't only invest in SOL, it is better to divide your money into sveeral top coins.
Solana is a centralized chain, I don't expect people to trust it easily and I really don't expect it to reach its ATH anytime soon it was able to hit around $250 back in October 2021 thanks to the hype about the upgrades that were going but still I wouldn't buy more than 10% of my portfolio if I were to buy ever again.

I really don't see anything which will trigger the pump of Sol in the main time it might only gain small gain from the current green market. But their is nothing too serious about sol which is worth my investment and hope.
I don't think their is any references to that if not it could have been added earlier. I believe it's just a self presume prediction.

Holding solana now can be fraught with certain risks due to the recent solana crash, however at current prices it is appropriate to buy and hold, but don't buy all sol, only buy with money you can lose.
It is acceptable for a blockchain to have problems in the early days of development, as long as they try to fix it and constantly develop and improve, there is nothing to worry about. As far as I follow, the sol developers are still actively working, they still haven't given up on the project despite the recent problems.
I think it's very difficult for Sol to get back to his old ATH but a move to $60, $70 is possible.

Anyone even not analysts, I've seen say that it will go up for this year and nobody knows if that will happen until we see the end of this year. If you think about inflation, most likely in cryptocurrencies, it is deflation if it has a limited supply. As for SOL, it has a limited supply but it's still a lot although it's on the top because of the NFT craze that we've seen for the past year and SOL has made a huge part on that thing. Jump to:
