If it breaches the 10K level, then 12K will be attained in a very short duration. There seems to be a lot of resistance at $9,900 - $9,999 levels. Those who want to dump their coins have placed sell orders at that range. But after $10,000 there are not many sell orders.

Whenever some people start to sell BTC then ofcourse it will go down. Some people bought BTC around 7k and set their bar at 10k, so when it reaches 10k those people will sell theirs so BTC will drop down due to that, then it will rise again. Same thing happened when it had reached 7,5k and dropped back to a bit under 6k. Whenever it reaches a bar where some people are waiting for then it will go down due to their dumping. What? You are going to hold onto bitcoin forever and never ever sell it?

While i agree that it may have a lot or a couple of price corrections(which obviously happens everytime a big price rising comes up), i don't think it will literally crash. That is just impossible. That's the first time I see such kind of the idea. Well, if this rule would work the crash would happen already due to Bitcoin crossed 10000$ on some exchangers today. This growth can't be one day case, popularization and legalization by some countries and it will give a green light to the price and soon we will see new records.

For the price to start crashing there have to be reasons for that. Just saying that $10k is a lot doesn't sound very convincing. Why $10k is a lot? Why not $100k for example? The price is rising due to rising demand and there are no signs for that to stop.

I don't think that BTC will crash any time soon. I do believe strongly though after this rally, that the price is going to retrace. I am predicting it might retrace to around 8-9k USD. On the other hand, if derivatives and futures come into play in the first quarter of 2018, then we have another story and maybe another moon landing to 15k-20k or thereabouts. Grin

I believe BTC will reach 10k-10.5k and we will see a lot of sell orders and the price will drop to 8k-8.5k. But go back up to 10k within a week or 2. We have seen many rises in 4k and then drops of 1.5k.

because most of them are butt hurt that they sold bitcoin too soon and now are missing out on the rise. so they wish it crashes so they can see the price they sold at and then buy back.

Yeah you are right some of the people want to decrease the bitcoin price and to get back their sold bitcoins. Grin

But I don't think price will crash there maybe ups and downs in the bitcoin price but it is normal in bitcoin.So don't sell your bitcoin if the price falls.
