I'm rather surprised by the results so far. Are people voting seriously?

Maybe they're seriously voting

Some people are truly believing that bitcoins will replace usd one day.
You should never be surprised by human stupidity Smiley

Not replace but supplement and ignorance == lost opportunities
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.517444

This topic shows that some people were claiming that bubble is over while it kept deflating 2.5 times more.

But at the same time were talking about small amounts by current standards
The point here was that timing is important and understanding the market not just saying the sky is falling Smiley

If one invested 10k at that time how he has 200k USD

If one listened to the OP now he has 500k USD.

Small amounts?

By today's standards Smiley
Of course
But as we lack crystal balls we need to follow our best judgements if we knew it would be worth what it is now
A lot more people would have bought at even 7.50 Smiley

Yes.  When it dropped down out of the $250 range, I'd say the bubble was over.

I think we're pretty clearly out of bubble territory and have been for some time.  Recent fluctuations have just been typical BTC volatility.  There will be another bubble and another crash in the future too.

The price will break the two month low and the previous high given a long enough timeframe Smiley

The price will go below last weekends low in the future, but probably not below the lowest point seen post 266
