Open your eyes mate, because the market had different situation right now wherein it's not repeating the history itself.. It's bearish season and there are some sort of negative news around the internet that's why it kees dumping..but having strong support on this kind of circumstances for sure it will not going below like what you're thinking.. Infact there's already some buyers below and keep adding more when there's a fluctuation.. So do you think it will continue falling before this year ends? Well let's see.

Lack of risk management is what most of us are lacking here. Before we invest that money into any cryptocurrency, always treat it as "dead money". As we experience high volatility and no guarantees and promises, always expect that our investment may go up or down without warning and we cannot control that.

Always invest and trade on what you can afford to lose and do not go all-in. Plus, it's also important that no matter if you lost something, at least you are financially stable and keep growing your income through other gigs, stuff, etc.

If you're fazed by the current dump then maybe you should re-visit your investing strategy, maybe you have overinvested too much. Personally, I like keeping a bit of liquidity for occasions like this. Its a very good opportunity to average down your holdings. My advise is to 1) keep your emotions in check. 2) take the time to learn basic chart reading or indicators. Even if you don't day trade, its going to be useful to you during days like this when you're not sure of where the market's going. If the market is ranging/choppy, its best to just step aside. If you have high conviction on your investments, you shouldn't get too worried then.

Only red lights have been burning in the market for several days now. Many have investing and lost a lot. I have lost a lot by investing myself. I don't really understand which way the market is going or will go. What do you suggest in such a situation?
Not going to depth analysis on this one but you are saying 2018 or maybe particularly 2017 bloodbath on cryptos where prices went too down but what happened after that?

Is btc dead after 2018 dump? No the market has recovered and it's usual so why do we get panic whenever the prices are dumping but the coins you should be holding must have potential to grow like in 2017 many tokens were dead but only few were able to make it out.So keep that in mind.

I have lost a lot by investing myself.
Remember that you only lose when you cut your losses and sell off. this of course comes after you have done your research and decided on what asset to buy considering the fundamentals of the project. Many coins in the crypto market do not have an active product and are only built on hype, those may not recover when they dump.

I don't really understand which way the market is going or will go. What do you suggest in such a situation?
As an investor you do not have to determine where the market is going nor can you. You simply;
- Do your research before buying any asset,
- Buy only what you can afford to lose,
- HODL!

That's the main reason why you should allocate your funds properly. The exact reason why it's not recommended to go all in on one go unless you're totally comfortable in holding through bloody times.

Normally do nothing...

When everyone's excited about something, that's the point to sell. When people are disappointed, that might be the time to buy some more but when people are neutral and most have mixed feelings, it's normally best just to wait.

Mixed feelings don't normally cause dumps afaik too.

That being said, don't invest more than you can reasonably afford to lose.
