Nope. The sooner you realize it the better for you. I'll say even more, if you are playing UNskill games like roullete, dice or slots you'll end up losing some day, bar you a are genius at maths.

Generally this all strategy does not work much in the longer run. Because if you tend to play for long hours and regularly it is you who is going to make loss and gambling site/casinos to make profits due to which they are still surviving today as well. So better just enjoy the game for fun and not for the wealth.

yes martingale maybe work if you do it for once or twice , not continuously.

10 losing streaks and 11th times you won it. you should leave and not to try it out again in the future. martingale never work when you force yourself to want more winning. do martingale and walk away after you have received a good winning. otherwise you will always suffering lost in the end.

Of course it feels like you never see 10 in a row in live roulette games... that happens about once in 1,000+ games, with house edge of land-based casinos a lot higher, almost 1,100 games I think. So have you sat at any roulette table long enough for 1100 games? Even if one spin of the wheel takes a minute (it takes more), we're talking about you stting down for almost 20 hours at best. More likely 24 hours with changing of dealer and breaks.

Online, with a roughly 50% chance on dice, the same 1,000 rolls takes a fraction of the time, so it's easy to roll enough times to see plenty of long streaks. I've seen above 15 frequently enough to know that martingale works... until it doesn't. Numbers eventually don't lie, and even if you think you're due a break, variance gets you in the end.

That's why martingale (eventually) doesn't work. Also, even if you had unlimited funds, the house has a maximum bet.

Yep it is a rarity although I've witnessed it a few times, Both live and online. Worst for me was online where it hit Black 17 times in a row and this was when I was trying out the martingale system for the first time.. Needless to say it broke my bank hahaha. Longest streak live was 10 or 11 I believe, also Black. For some reason it does seem like Black comes in a lot more often than Red with the crazy streaks.. Hmm.

I've not visited land-based casinos much, but when I do, always at Black Jack with one or two others. Poker is never popular where I've visited so once am done losing at cards, I invariably end up watching roulette. What I've noticed at land-based in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, UK and Netherlands (where I've been), they're set up so martingale fails very quickly.

At roulette tables, because of min and max bet, will rarely allow you to do martingale of more than 7 or 8 streaks. Commonly, where the minimum is $0.1, the max is $200, and they'll never let you put the minimum on the 2/1 payouts. The "best" I've seen is $1 min, $200 max for 2/1, so you're stuck at a 8-streak simple Martingale - common enough to find.

Because of that, if I'm playing for fun, I wait for 3 or 4 streaks to appear before betting against it. It's a stupid way to risk several hundred dollars bankroll to win $1 Wink

Indeed I've witnessed the same things, and not only at land-based casinos,  a lot of online ones have started with those limits as well only giving you 10-11 chances at martingale, which means you'll eventually lose out if you play long enough Cheesy.

And yeah I usually always end up at the roulette table as well but I'm always betting numbers.. Don't care too much about the colors Cheesy. All for fun ofc.

I have no luck when I tried out martingale, I tried it out because before others are saying that it is effective to them so I tried it out and after that I lost almost all my spare funds. It may be effective to other gamblers but not all of us does have the same luck and fate when it comes to gambling. If it works for you, then you are one of the few lucky people who are working at best with it.

is there any way to play the martingale in dice sites ?
any system /
getting 10 loses in a row in a dice site is very common

but how about live roulette i never seen 10 in a row red or black
roulette is also random  . dice is also random  if i go to play 20 minutes in a dice site getting 6 in a row loses is big chance
but with  roulette it is rare to get 8-10 in a raw loses even if is spend 4 - 10 hours in the table

if both is random why dice games so common in raw loses

Which way though ? I mean you just simply doubling your bet everytime you lose your bet and that's it, it's really common in dice sites to use martingale strategy. I actually never use it on roulette but it seems work too but the different is they have 0 too which is green and it's not 50-50% red/black.

Martingale is nothing more than a step by step betting just like how you use those script in plinko, when you look at it, it has too many red and just few greens each time you use it. That alone can prove that martingale is not effective, it could fail any time and it could eat your bankroll big time. Which I think is the same in martingale while betting manually.

Martingale is a good technique but never do it with bots or auto betting. Do it manually so you can at least change the amount during a losing streak.

Sooooooooooooooo
I've worked this question already and had to mathematically show my father it DOESN'T WORK otherwise he would have insisted in trying xD

Let's say you have 2% house edge, so you bet on a number to be even or odd. On each you have 49% chance to be right and 51% chance to be wrong. Martingale means:
you bet X. If you win you win X and bet X again. If you lose you double your bet until you win.

So:
Bet X -> lose
Bet 2X -> lose
Bet 4X -> win 4X
Overall you won 4X and lost 3X so won X ok?

It would work if you got infinite money, but you won't. Let's say you have 13 000$ and you bet 1$ at the begining:
you can't go further than 13 losses in a row, it would mean the 13th bet is 8k$ so too much to go to the 14th.

What's the probability of 13 losses in a row? 0,51^13 = 0,00016 so approximately once every 6300 bets.
It means that even if you win EVERY OTHER BET, you'll lose everything once every 6300 bets, including what you've won.

Martingale doesn't work.

I think because it has long been used by people because most gamblers use the site to use it to win the case so many know this strategy so they always win it here but, ...

Martiangle is a great way to make quick profit but you will eventually loss on long term.
Just make sure that you gamble on site that provably fair like primedice.

*Note if you keep loss when using martiangle, you change other method so make a variation is better than stagnan !

martingale isn't a good way to make quick profit, you are only risking your whole bankroll just to win a small part of it and even you are playing on a provably fair site there is no guarantee you would win using this strategy, you will still lose in the long run.

Don't get us wrong, it works! However to make it work you need two things.

1. You need unlimited amounts of bankroll
2. There would be no limit to betsize

The reason is that eventually you will have a win even if you had already lost 100 times or even 1000 times already. But, the thing is even at 1 satoshi per bet at 100 straight losses and you double it at every lose then you need to bet  6338253001141150000000.00 BTC. Which no casino allows you to bet. Also, who has that much bitcoins right? That's probably even worth more than the whole world already at that point.

I don't think any gambling houses will allow people to bet without any maximum limit because they also know this risk so they cleverly set those limits to protect themselves. If not some big whales can easily eat up their bankrolls.

In short, no methods including martingal method works in the long run. You may win or few times but you don't know when your losing streak will eat up all your bankroll so it is good don't use gambling to earn money.

Martingale works but it is not effective for long run.  Tell me that it does not work if you win and did recover all the loses you had taht round.  Though it worked, the question on martingale is its effectiveness.  Since we all see, the longer we role a dice, the longer we have this losing streak.  It is on the internal setup thus nullifying this martingale method in the long run.
By works what do you mean?
It is counted as a gambling strategy, but it won't make you win at the long , as you are still paying a very large house edge.

It is impossible to win at the long run by any strategy, you will always have a low winning precentage.

im a martingale user and ive always use that method whenever i do gamble on primedice and freebitco, all i can say that it works like a charm and i can manage to win more just by using it although i stop imediatley whenever i won a single bet because gambling is still gambling and it is still have a risk to loose more than winning. i only gamble once in a week and mostly one to two tries only because if i do exceed then i know that i could loose what i already won.

Agreed, using martingale on the above mentioned sites on automatic betting with a significantly small initial bet can do wonders, especially due to the fast dicing which makes it worth the time. Again, agreeing with the fact that it is best to cashout when a significant amount of profit is made instead of continuing as there is complete possibility of losing it all to a very bad red streak.

Martingale is not working, you must be prepared to face 20+ losing streak. You can't improve your odds with martingale strategy. I have tried it out and in the end it doesn't work. The problem with the martingale strategy is that if you make very small bets, it will take a very long time to make a good profit and you are likely to get a long streak of losses since you have to make so many bets. And if you start with larger bets, you can't cover long streaks of losses.  I had once experienced 15 losing streak and the house gobbled up my entire bankroll.

When i'm new to gambling the first strategy i know was martingle. I could say it's effective on me at the beginning and i always profit on it whenever i play but when i try to exceed on my target. It always end up losing and at that time i knew that i won't profit from it when i play too much. Whenever i play again i only play a couple of minutes with that strategy and if i profit i will stop because if i continue playing then i will lose in the long run.
