Memecoins is just for making quick profit not for longbterm investment. Only small amount should be use for meme coins ttading.
I think we buy only when we expect trend of memecoin will work for a month or weak otherwise its will not make any profit.
They really are not.

If you have the chance to sell it in a higher price, that's better for you. But too sad to see those people that are relying on meme coins because they've became heavily invested on it.

They're trying to give as much as they can for those meme coins and invest on it because they've believed a lot on it during the hype.

I still think, the transaction volume of coin memes is very large so I don't hesitate to hold meme coins, as long as we can keep up with developments and new news then hold meme coins is a very profitable thing.

What's your reason for still holding the meme coin in your wallet, and when do you intend selling it all off to buy a more purposeful coin or token. Are you holding just because of the hype, or do you have any analysis be it technical or fundamental technique that is giving you a go ahead signal to hold more or the hype is doing the work for you.

Personally, I have never bought meme coins because for me it only gives profit at the beginning and the price will continue to decline from day to day. but if I have it then I will sell it at the beginning when the price is rising. for me, it is better to invest or trade with coins that do have good prospects and can be trusted so that they are safer and we can control them well.

Doge and Inu are not dead but they'll be dead soon.
i don't know what is your definition bout "dead" that you mention. you don't even deny nor reply my previous post about this.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.58799713

If we look at the previous weeks and compared it now, we can see that their ranking are going down, that's due to the simple reason that when there's no hype, the coin will not survive, and since we are not anymore seeing a bullish market, their standings will be heavily affected compared to the altcoins that has a good usage.
even bitcoin price will go down when the cryptohype turn into bear market.
i feel your feeling about memecoin, but you should not use your feeling if we are talking about crypto asset

I think it's still profitable, even the coin meme community is increasing, I invested in some coin memes such as King Shiba, Shiborg, Goma and so on, today Goma is launching a new product so that makes me optimistic to keep meme coins.
The meme community is really refreshed thanks to the activities of Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, there's no denying that this year is the year of jokers and manipulators, they are talented brainwashers and under words that are full of lies but have their artistic expression the coin meme is heavily portrayed and full of profits. However, hypnosis also has limits and conditions for regaining consciousness, with just a little more familiarity, the coin meme will no longer fool investors' calculations and as a result, this makes the meme coin unworthy to hold, in the long run, art and hypnosis become meaningless

You should know how to play with meme coin. Holding for a long period of time may have a high risk of losing them in the future. Although on the other hand holding for a long time may give you a high gain. Now be watchful to the movement of the price in the market. If it seems to have a good price and you can gain a profit better to sell your coin rather than losing them in a non-reasonable situation.

I do not think the hype of meme coin is still there. Most of this meme coin will be dead when a new hype came forward except for some exceptional ones like doge and Shiba Inu. These two projects already made their name in the market and their community has grown exceptionally. I do not know what will be the price of them but I think they will survive the storm in the end.

The ranking of the two altcoins has indeed dropped slightly but both altcoins are still in the top 20 rankings in CMC, in other words the two coins still deserve to be called big altcoins. I can't say for sure how the condition of these altcoins will be in the future, what is clear is that the two altcoins have survived so far because of the hype created by influential people like Elon.

Some are. I think one that may be worth hodling is GM. They are doing big things over there. Another I like is called DAC- Degen Apes Club. Might be another GM in the making. But lets be real, I am not sure any meme coin is a 5 year+ hodl at this point in time.
mostly i agree with you but i think some meme coin are here to stay.

we can track history from the most leading memecoin "dogecoin"
Quote
Dogecoin (DOGE) is based on the popular "doge" Internet meme and features a Shiba Inu on its logo. The open-source digital currency was created by Billy Markus from Portland, Oregon and Jackson Palmer from Sydney, Australia, and was forked from Litecoin in December 2013. Dogecoin's creators envisaged it as a fun, light-hearted cryptocurrency that would have greater appeal beyond the core Bitcoin audience, since it was based on a dog meme. Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted several tweets on social media that Dogecoin is his favorite coin.

it's already exist 9 years, no one can deny history

It depends on the background of the project. If the project has a strong team or someone who has face value, then yeah, it might be great to hold that meme coin. We can say it's a strong project like Doge or Shiba Coin where the Elon Mask is the backbone. But meme coin shows that without influencers, it can be grown like samo. Woof. But it also shows the dumb too. If you can hold on no matter if it's a meme or not, you will be profitable. When the time comes to sell your meme coin, you should do so. it.

Dogecoin is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency with an open-source system. I still hold these coins to this day and don't want to miss their hype.

I know that holding memecoins is very risky when the market is correcting, but for this one coin I feel very safe to invest. I believe that dogekoin is a quality coin with the highest trading volume on many exchanges.

No meme coins are on hold in my wallet, at this moment. I wanted to buy shiba inu when it came on top100 rank but i saw suddenly it gained 24th rank & pump incredibly by hype which would be risky for me! So i didn't purchase shiba even I already sold off mem coins cause i don't wanna lose my capital during this hype game. After few days later Shiba lost its half value from its ath, which prove that, how risky meme coins are!

So in short, you just got lucky that you didn't buy SHIB at its peak.
With meme tokens or coins, this is a very risky game as you have no idea about their lifespan in the market.
Also, I have the feeling that the devs behind most of meme tokens will disappear without a trace once their pockets are full.
They have no tangible use case when they were launched, and because they are getting attention from the community, the devs are now just trying to find their use case so they will not be branded as useless token.

Sell it if there is profit. Don't fret for anything could happen in the crypto world and a part of it is a big dump.
If you are in doubt about what you are holding then sell it. Stressing about the troubles of whether holding it or not will cloud your decision making either in investing or trading.
IMO, memecoins are not meant to be like gold for holding, they'd be better off with more usage for daily transactions.

agree to sell, take a profiting within an estimated 40% of the initial capital, in the first sale, and  buy back  again if you sure  with a coin  , if u not sure leave and forget it the coin , that's my system in holding meme coins

Meme coins now have big popularity, but only few coins will be popular and growing, another all will pump and dump and will end for ever
it's real mate. lots of meme coins popping up wishing it could be like doge or something. however, the reality is that things don't work out very well because the market isn't all in favor of all meme coins. must really make a selection of the existing meme coins. so when you want to do holding you have to really choose the best type of coin
always continue to be selective in choosing coin memes, which can indeed survive in a situation like this, where all coins are in a red state due to the correction of bitcoin. many hope that by keeping coin memes where prices are cheap enough and get a large amount, they hope it will turn out like doge.

it seems that if someone actually holds a coin meme because it is speculative and will not lose too much if they also invest in it as long as the value purchased is not much. who knows it will happen like a coin doge which is not expected to increase sharply, but it doesn't look like there will be much like a doge.
