As much i have got details about bitcoin mining and that too in home is not at all profitable, what ever the electricity is cost but the ROI will be too late and now the mining block is also too much difficult in level. If you really want to earn through mining then better you can go with Altcoin which are  very profitable, their are so many new coins with good features are in market where you can start mining and earn profit immediately.

It should be, but depends on the country. In most EU countries, it's impossible to profit from Bitcoin mining, and even with business plans it won't be profitable either.
Thats right depending on which country you lives because sometimes there are countries high charging electricity . There should be mature for wasting money because I know the miners professionals only income earners here but if you do not have experience study it carefully before doing so you will not lost your money.

Because electric cost is the biggest of maintenance cost, mining in home will get profitable if the electric cost not more USD 0,05/kwh. I recommend if the electric cost more than USD 0,05/kwh and bitcoin price not more 600, please hold for mining.

Actually, Bitmain is planning to release a miner that will make home mining profitable again due to its low power consumption. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope they deliver as promised - it's called the R4. Lips sealed

Well, it looks like we can put this to rest. The R4 as I read on the Bitmain website priced at $1395 for 8.6 TH. Compared to the 11.85TH S9, it's hugely "over-priced" on a USD/TH basis. As I first mentioned, it should be way more friendly to run in your home, and you pay a pretty penny for that convenience. Add at least 2 months to the time it takes for you to "break even" in terms of you mining adventure.

The R4 is clearly designed to maximize Bitmain's profit, until they have some competition.I think both the R4 and the S9 lines have plenty of profit, so that the price can be reduced when Bitmain needs to.

Everything I've seen about the Antminer R4 suggests that it will make home mining more practical, not necessarily more profitable. It will no doubt be quieter than their flagship S9, produce less heat, and draw less power. It should be more practical to run from a single 120V outlet.  It will also produce less hashrate. All that is good to entice some folks into buying a miner, but it doesn't automatically translate into a profit for the purchaser.

Kind of interesting that they called it an R4, kinda like a a follow on to the very low power, very low hash rate R1. Though really completely unrelated.

The R4 is more about "quiet" than "low power consumption" - it's STILL a kilowatt-class miner, from what's been posted about it so far.

No but LTC is catch is finding a knc titan at a price that works is hard....but I'm doing ok on such....i convert ltc to btc and keep 10% in LTC

lucky got some new equip that will ROI in 5-6 months with psu's and mods..if i point all my 3400 mh at the debt will roi in 5-6 months at worse

but only angle ..btc home mining sure does not work  on the above at 14.6c kwh (i clear about 2350 bucks after electric taken out)

but imho btc home mining is NOT working anymore that boat has sailed

Not unless you have cheap-ass electricity like some people do on this forum. With sub-0.05$/kwh, you can roi relatively fast with new-gen miners if you live in in an ideal area with good cooling costs. Altcoins are going to be much easier to possibly make a profit for the normal home miner, but it's still just as much of an ASIC arms race. I know someone who runs 2 Antminer S4s. Why? Free electricity. With free electricity, all you need to do is estimate how much power cooling and mining uses, and check your limits, and you're good. Home mining has become very difficult as the needs to do it and profit at the same time is getting ever more difficult.

What do you mean 20 s9 antminer? you only earn 0.3 btc per day?
Its a small amount compare to old minings past year ago..
Or this is beecause of the difficulty is increasing..  i would like to ask if how much you are paying for your electricity cost and what is the cost of kwh in your country..?

20x Antminer S9

was 21x S9 , but 3 blades is shipped  back to warranty.

It is only total 250 Th/s  It does not have to earn a lot of BTC

Today 1 x S9  earn 0,015 BTC per day. (Antpool PPS )

Last month 1 kw/h was 0,09842119543   euro.  Some months are better rate. (0.095 euro)

A year ago, I got 0,5-0,6 BTC per day, but I paid for  more  kw/h , total 3500-4000 euro per month.

EDIT.

Today 22 x S7 +one emty body.
3 x S7 hashblades still in China.

is the difficulty increase every day? so the money or BTC i get every day become low couz the difficulty increase?

Bitcoin difficulty is retargeting every 2016 blocks, which is about two weeks. You could also expect every 13 days the difficulty is increased by 7% percent (thus you mine 7% less coins everyday after this), but the difficulty sometimes go down, sometimes goes up but the long term trend is upward so far. Check https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty
to get the graphs of past difficulty changes. The upward long term trend is clearly visible, thats why you should put in mining calculators +5% to +10% difficulty increase after every two week retarget period to get better idea how many Bitcoins you can mine with your S9.

If you could really earn 5-7 euro a day, it would take you a little over a year to pay off your investment.
Since the price of BTC will probably go up, getting your money back would depend on how much the difficulty changed over the next year?
I would be interested to see people predictions on difficulty over the next year.

My 20 x S9  give me a  0.3 BTC per day
Antpool, PPS with 2.5% fee

Try this calculator https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator it can help you to know right now how much you can earn per month..
Also use this calculator http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/
Check and add some electricity cost and how much you buy s9.. it will automatically calculate all..

beside that calculator, you can try http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculator to make a comparison between that website and you can see how much the difference cost and profit. well as long as i know, when we can handle about electrical fee, then we're good to go mining.

The problem is that figure is a snapshot of RIGHT NOW - as a general rule, with occasional rare exceptions, difficulty tends to climb over time reducing the profitability of ANY mining setup.

This will probably slow some over the next few years compared to the past, since the S9 and it's announced in-the-works competiton have finally caught up with Semiconductor state-of-the art so major efficiency gains won't be happening on a "every few months to a year" basis any more, instead we're going to be moving to a "few years" cycle of major efficiency gains like the semiconductor industry as a whole.

The other kicker is Bitcoin price variability - it does NOT always go up, in fact the all-time peak was a few years back. Any significant bad news (like the recent Bitfinex "hack/theft") can cause it to DROP quite a bit quite rapidly, though sometimes significant bad news that DOESN'T directly impact bitcoin can help it (like the ongoing Chinese economic meltdown that appears to have driven quite a few Chinese investors INTO Bitcoin over the last several months).
