a food truck pulled up outside my work today and they allegedly accept bitcoin...so. yeah. I think the world is ready.

what I don't think the world is ready for, is sitting around 6 minutes+ for a confirmation after you've paid.

Maybe now the world is not ready for cryptocurrency, because there are currently around 1900 cryptocurrency in the world, but 90% of them only end up in garbage, this failure can occur because the system built by the company is not strong and with haphazard management.

Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.
for now, not yet. because only a few country that really legalize bitcoin. even they legalize, bitcoin still be digital payment and can't change their currency, if me i will like bitcoin still be digital asset only because a lot of people can use it as it must be used

Well, there are digital currencies being used all around. Let me make this comparison. In my country we engage in mobile money/banking. All you need is to convert your fiat into digit and you can make payments anywhere from any distance. Its is no different from crypto except that the former is centralized and non volatile. Its all about making the world know how the crypto world works. Explaining to the algorithms behind cryptocurrencies and I think with this, the world will be ready enough.

I think yes because we are already using it, we just only need to introduce it to others or explain it clearly to those who have been brainwashed by media. It will took a long time but I am hopeful that cryptocurrency will be known and use by everyone.

Yes right now bitcoin is ready for the world.  Many people use cryptocurrency and most of them are altcoins and tokens.  I know Bitcoin has not really been legal worldwide, it's pretty new compared to some countries and some young people. Only those who really want to know and invest in Bitcoin will research it.

In this year a big changes to our world and that is the crypto-currency now a days. Maybe this is the best thing to move on now in the current situation and adopt the crypto in our countries but many countries are against of it because other people using it in evil intentions just like the "black market" or the other terms of it. But I can say that world is ready for new evolution of daily life routines.

It may take more than decade too since the crypto currencies are only used by very low amount of people the adoption prices will take longer then only the bitcoin will be suitable for the real world usage. For that to happen we need to adopt to the system as much as possible and spread about the bitcoin to the people you know.

I like your question. Everybody, including me, is saying the future of currency is digital currency and that would mean the fiat currency that we are currently using will one day fade away. But your question stays, because if we really take a careful look around us, we can easily observe that the world is less than 30% digital. Of course, it is easy to notice that we are getting there but then it is a hard fact that a very huge population in the world is far from getting into the digital age. As for me, we are not yet 50% ready. Although a few advanced countries are.

I think yes the world is ready for cryptocurrency because the global economy is inevitably moving towards a digital eco-system. From investment to money transfer, everything is going paperless. The newest and most promising addition to the digital payment sector is cryptocurrency.

I can say that if the world are the ones talking about here we are not ready for the bitcoins and the cryptocurrency because we can just say that we are ready if the majority of the people here in our country will be engaging themselves in this thung but not. So lets just wait for a few more years I am sure we can cope up.

The world is starting to be ready for it. But not really ready to use it for daily expenditures like the fiat money. Bitcoin needs the intervention of technology and as well the internet for it to function. Hopefully, in the future, it will be well accepted in many parts of the world.

Bitcoin hard to replace the existing fiat currencies clearly shows that the whole world is not ready to accept Bitcoin. There are lot of reasons on why the world is not ready simply because not all people know how to use this digital currencies due to poverty and not all nations have the technologies to support the process which mean it will need to spend more years of developing and waiting before all nations can fully accept the Crypto currencies and poverty is the main reason.
