Yes.

It's called Bitcoin Cash.

Smiley

Another one is Bitcoin Satoshi Vision.
you forgot to add Bitcoin Silver and all of the forked bitcoin lol.

For OP?you will never be faked if you will only purchase and use Bitcoin and  nothing else, though there are some good altcoins also yet Bitcoin is the safest of them all.

After I read some comments on this topic, most of the people thought Bitcoin forked coins such as BSV, BCH, BCD, BTG and
others as fake Bitcoin. I don't blame this, because indeed some forked coins claim to be real Bitcoin. And that is very misleading
information.
and why need for Forked when there is already existing and original?
whats the motive behind forking a great currency like bitcoin?
from my experience there are no fake bitcoins, all i know is altcoin but the price is still far different from bitcoin price. If you have ever met fake bitcoin, then you have to be careful in making decisions if you choose the wrong choice then you will get a big loss.
why need experience?to learn about fake bitcoin?Lol Claiming to be the Real Bitcoin is a clear statement that one coin like Bitcoin Cash is really fake and misleading people .

Most of the fake bitcoins are those that forked from original bitcoin and attached the name of bitcoin to their name. And they considered themselves as replacement for original btc, but they are not. Just another alt trying to steal the fame from btc but  they couldn't.

If you have a bitcoin wallet no one can pay you with a fake bitcoin because the transaction has to be verified by the miners and after 10+ verification that coin will so up in your wallet, that coin is no way fake.
A miner can run a sister node and that will create a fake BTC, but if the other miners do not run or verify the node the transaction will not complete. But if all the other miners verify the node that will become the original BTC.
If the miners got divided into two or more teams and each of the team has miners to verify the transactions then the coin will be forked into parts. There are lots of forks like bitcoin cash, bitcoin SV, bitcoin core.
But still, it is possible to scam people, who have no idea about BTC wallet. Suppose one person selles a ETH wallet with a self-made ERC-20 coin named as Bitcoin  Roll Eyes

In such a thing that you can send BCH to BTC addy but wondering that it never arrives into the destination address. So it means that other names just like BCH, BSV, and Bitcoin Core aren't fake Bitcoin, and they wrong with claims as fake Bitcoin.  But if we are talking about fake projects, definitely, there is a lot of it around.

I just want to change the mind of the people thinking about Fake Bitcoin because they are totally wrong about what they think. We heard about Bitcoin scam but it doesn't mean that Bitcoin is already a scam. It happens that they are a victim of fake promises and use Bitcoin name to trick them.

There are many fake crypto currencies on the market you should avoid them and bitcoin is included if you check the ERC-20 tokens you will see many people can easily create a new token and call it whatever they want, even bitcoin. Also, since bitcoin is open source everyone can make a fork and create a own version of bitcoin with a little knowledge.
ERC20 is for ethereum platform and there were many shitcoins in the past that used this platform to create their own coin before and those coin can be considered fake if they are valueless now. And even those who are made from ETH platform that with named bitcoin is really fake as they should not be in ETH platform anyway as well the bitcoin forks that have bitcoin named in them, it says there are 100+ name bitcoin fork already and only less than 50 were currently operating, the rest were no longer active and  is absolutely fake now.

It's possible for real money. What we use for our daily expenses. But the coin we can't touch and only visible in virtual life that can't be copied or something.Only the name can be copied or the people can be fake but the fake bitcoin  will not be added to your main wallet.

Yes there is, and this is the bitcoin cash, and bitcoin SV because those are not the real bitcoins but still there are few people things that this is the bitcoin but still if the OP asks about the other coins which are the altcoins this could be possible fake bitcoin because this is the same way like the bitcoin but this is not the real bitcoin looks like the alternative currencies or altcoins are the same with bitcoin.

Right now there are a lot of coins created but the problem is do they survive the market? Yes, this is true there are a lot of people creating a coin right now but the problem does they really survive the market some of them last long for only a month and years but some of them getting dump immediately.

Yes, as bitcoin become popular  scammers take this as an opportunity to create app almost similar to bitcoin which they use to steal money from consumers by tricking them and setting up fake bitcoin exchanges. That's why you need to be cautious in using apps and programs

is there also a Fake Bitcoin? If there's any, how can we identify it?
The physical cash (fiat) has a counter feit, same thing goes for Bitcoin BTC there are alternate bitcoin's, how to identify them? It's easy, any coin that has been forked from bitcoin are considered to be fake bitcoin examples are:
  • bitcoin atom
  • bitcoin core
  • bitcoin satoshi version
  • bitcoin cash
And so on......

Yes there're so many Fake Bitcoin (e.g. Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin SV) all you need is stay away and don't invest in these coins.

Read more : How Many Bitcoin Forks Are There? You will be surprised!!!
That something is a fork does not mean it is a fake. I will not consider those you mentioned as fake because they have their own programmes too and in some way have enhanced the entire cryptocurrency industry too whether we admit it or not. Also, a fake bitcoin will bear the same name as bitcoin without a prefix or suffix.

What is wrong with people? A bitcoin fork is not fake bitcoin it just a new coin using bitcoins network. The only thing you can do to try trick people issuing a testnet, You cannot create a nice coin called bitcoin since BTC is already taken so people will easily see. So you see this is one of the great things about bitcoin. You cannot counterfeit it. Unlike fiat.

Yes, there is a fake BTC and it's name is Bitcoin SV founded and created by Craig Wright. He claims that it is the real Bitcoin, but I don't honestly believe it and it's just full of hype. Same thing to Bitcoin Cash, but I just don't like BSV at all.

The pump of BSV last December is just pure hype and short-term before going all the way down in value. From $400+ down to $220. I'll never support Bitcoin SV.

So Ethereum and XRP are considered fake Bitcoin, then?
No, XRP is fake cryptocurrency.

If you want to own bitcoin, go to reputable exchanges and buy bitcoin and bring it to coinbase wallet, blockchain ...
Why must bring it to those wallets?. you will be confusing those wallets had Cash either.

And now, after reading on this thread I've learned that bitcoin cash has no value and can be considered as fake. Good thing, I already quitted from there and deleted the app, and its a fake after all. Thanks to this thread.

And now, after reading on this thread I've learned that bitcoin cash has no value and can be considered as fake. Good thing, I already quitted from there and deleted the app, and its a fake after all. Thanks to this thread.

If you want to own bitcoin, go to reputable exchanges and buy bitcoin and bring it to coinbase wallet, blockchain ...
Do not care about cryptocurrencies with Bitcoin names similar to names like Bitcoincash, BitcoinSV, Bitcoin Diamond ...
They really don't add value to your investment. The other bitcoin are one of the chains that split from the fork during the bitcoin upgrade. There are not many programmers and financial institutions that support trading them so their ability to increase value or store value is not better than bitcoin. Bitcoin is unique.

Everything that is called anything other than Bitcoin is probably a fake bitcoin.

So Ethereum and XRP are considered fake Bitcoin, then?
No, they are both different in terms of use/features, etc.

What most likely he points out is the fork coins. They are claiming to be the real bitcoin which is really unbelievable, and some fork coins are also stating to beat bitcoin and be the next top crypto in the market.

Fake bitcoins are those assets that use the name bitcoin which is obviously a copy cat of BTC and claiming to be the real one.
Everything that is called anything other than Bitcoin is probably a fake bitcoin.

So Ethereum and XRP are considered fake Bitcoin, then?
No they aren't considered as a fake bitcoin, they have their own unique features and use the foundation of chain network to their assets.

They are called alternative cryptocurrency or altcoins so obviously, they aren't considered as fake bitcoins. Innovations are not considered as copy cats or fake things because you made something different than the original doesn't have.
