Recently, in Austria a bank exclusively for bitcoin transactions. I don't know if this project is good or not but I just mention it. This bank belongs to the German group of Bit Trust.

so i wanna know from all the bitcoiners here is there a some kind of bank where i can deposit my bitcoins and get safe transactions and not worry about theft or lost of wallet ??
If I am correct I do not think that there are any Bitcoin banks that exist but I think that we do not need them yet.
Maybe that when bitcoin has more users it would be handy to open up some bitcoin banks around the world.
It doesnt really need at all since those bitcoin banks are just useless in my own view because if you tend to put your bitcoin on there then expect you identity will be exposed and known since banks are backed by government which means you will need to follow its policies in fact we do have lots of bitcoin wallets either online or offline.

Having unidentified identity makes bitcoin unique in other currencies and in other banks plus that there is no tax included in bitcoin. Whatever bitcoin is the best in other fiats.
Thats what really makes bitcoin as special and lots of its users do really believe on it thats why they dont really like to have those bitcoin banks or whatsoever because they really like to be hidden and having a full control on their bitcoins.
Banks too were commonly required to have a systematic usage by people. Services like Western Union and related services were popular just because it attracted the people who are not aware of advancement but depends upon something for their needs. So even a bank with such service to help the people through bitcoin in transaction or other needs makes it reach people easily.

Of course you are your own bank with your own bitcoin wallet, but as well as in the wild wild west exists already a lot of services who stores your Bitcoin for you (just google e.g. bitcoin bank).
This is definitly no advice. Since MtGox we know we can loose our Bitcoins if we store them on a central it service. So i suggest that you create a paper wallet and store the private key on a safe deposit box and/or other safe places. just be sure that you put private and public key not together.

kind regards,
froid

probably no. because anyone would not like to use bitcoin bank when user could control all his money right from his smartphone or laptop and for beginner user it wont take more than a month to learn all the features and how it works. so why people would prefer to got to bank for managinfg his bitcoin.

Bitcoin wallet is a bank itself. You can store your bitcoin safely just like a bank. No one can steal.it from you unless you give them you wallet keys. Bitcoin bank i think is pointless. Im good with my bitcoin wallet. I have control with my bitcoin and easy for transactions.

If you have enough Bitcoins that you need security,
you could always print a paper wallet, rent a safety deposit box at a bank,
and leave the wallet there.

But there is nothing like a bank where they offer to hold and insure your Bitcoins that I know of.

i do not think so that still there is any kind of bank our any other bank yet consider bitcoin as legal currency. but hope that a time will come when banks will accept bitcoins.

Banks will never accept Bitcoin, every user is a bank.
And yes, Bitcoin is a legal currency in some countries, however banks don't want to deal with it because Bitcoin can break the banks.

No banks accept bitcoin. As a matter of fact if you to buy to bitcoin in banks you deposit money to have you in your wallet. And also when you cash out your bitcoin you need banks to convert it in real cash. So I wonder how you cash out your bitcoin in your country without any using banks.

The concept in the bitcoin are not relying on the another party, the true concepts of bitcoin are making your own bank in your hand and all of the control in you. talking about the another kind of bitcoin bank is already out from the concepts of bitcoin but in bitcoin just know about the wallet and the wallet providers.

Well, there are not any bank related to bitcoin and there will never be one. Bitcoin can be securely store by owner if they have enough knowledge about bitcoin. In fact, the idea of building a bitcoin bank system is the most hilarious things i have ever heard. I never support this theory

first of all you have to understand what is the main diffrence between a bank and a wallet and then try to think why people put their money in banks and why they run away sometimes. you have probably noticed only some sites which says they are new btc bank had run away and tp understand this lease learn about public and private key concept. do not invest in hypes make a secure btc wallet and always keep your private key backup

There are already similar topics here.
No matter bank or something else your Bitcoins are exposed to certain level of risk if you keep them on exchangers or online wallets. Banks have servers and systems that are also vulnereble and could be a target for hacking attacks so even if there were Bitcoin bank who could guarantee that it would be totaly secure.

don't trust and 3rd party in bitcoin world. bitcoin alone have that much safety that no one can steal your money for your wallet. use blockchain wallet that's it and you won't get that much secure wallet. even 3rd party wallets are scam. satoshi had given you enough safety that you can relay on your own for safety. if you trust someone else then you are no longer secure.

You have a point but for a person that really doing bitcoin transactions regularly, it's not mistake if they will use the services of those 3rd party companies that offers some convenient way of sending and receiving bitcoins.

Yes they aren't really safe so just use them for that kind of purposes and not on storage purposes.
