I believe for crypto currencies we could not get useful information from anywhere else if you ignore this forum.
For altcoins, you can easily find which coins are coming up and with potential from this forum. It is up to you and your knowledge on selecting them because if you start listening to others you might end up with paid reviews.

For the case of bitcoins, you need to dependent on technical tools rather than news for making profits. There is a general saying: technical analysis will be winning at the final over information on news and events.

Nice topic and nice job for starting a thread about it but I can see that there are choices to gain information about trading. It is either doing your own research or taking what other members have suggested. I am torn between these two since I have read from this thread that resources online are sometimes unreliable and that I should not also believe some of the suggestions in this forum. I hope someone would suggest a legit site about trading bitcoin. Thank you.

Not right now, at least not something mainstream, but I think such a service will eventually exist, once enough people are willing to pay for it.

Specifically none.

Believe me, you won't read some trading information. Instead what you will read is mostly a pure speculation. We can't conclude a certain coin if that is a promising thing because the basic key here is the ability to fight with the associated risk when investing in an altcoin.

What you must read is trading forecast with explanations and stay away from predicting without any valid basis or explanation.

There is no way to find legit pump'n'dump team, there are many websites and groups in social medias but almost all of them are just scam.

Before you buy any coin in any exchanger even in yobit when they are announcing ICO. You should do a good research before buying that coin like reading more information about the coin and the team behind it and after you do a research, you can do conclusions which can help you to determine if you are going to buy that coin or not. Do a research before investing in any kind of field.

Having a Research is always advisable on anything you do plan to engage with because without having proper plan or research would really put you on harm and compromise the money you spend on it. Choosing coins would really be crucial because its not just a simple guess that a coin will pump or not you must set indication to yourself if its a good coin or bad. Always seek out on their developer which are known and not just hiding their faces and there are lots of supporters of it.

There is no such place, as far as I know, but this could be good idea, to start some web page where traders could meet and share their knowledge, experiences, current situation on the market and of course quality informations that are crucial for successful trading. At the moment the only good place is this forum.

Yes there are many but none of them can be trusted with blind eyes.

Promising coins coming out: They will post this for either bounty or to pump their own holdings.
Updates getting pushed: To increase PR and HYPE over coin they hold or advertise
Sudden Hype : They will try to bounce back dead coin they are holding.

So don't believe in what other suggest, make your own research and don't trust a single source for information/updates.

I know a site and a mobile apps called btc kan or now it is bitkan.com.
It is a good apps thaat provide you an update about the latest cryptocurrency news.

In my opinion there are no place for your for the trading best update , until you made that place . Earlier I was also facing the SE type of the problem for the trading discussion but once a idea came in my mind to start my own WhatsApp group and from one year I made the group of the trader friends who are making big profit with the better news discussion about the altcoins .
This is usual that one person can not cover all the news from the internet but group of people can Wink

Thank you for this. I am also looking for a place where I can read the latest updates about trading. I am planning on investing and I do not know where to start. I want to know something about trading bitcoin before trying it. I have search online but a friend of mine told me that sometimes the things I found online are nothing compared to the things that I can learn in this forum. Good thing I found this thread.

What you are asking are insider information. You need special privileges from the developers to know that. But you always can read the news or watch out on the altcoin section for ann threads and updates on certain coins you want information.

Go through the different exchange websites. It clearly shows the chart describing the price moves. One thing important is that it shows the small variations of value rise and down relating with the market volume. So based on this you could predict the growth of coins. Else there are premium services provided by few sites you can subscribe which does give you perfect info but a outline for a better prediction.
