Once a man, twice a child!
Setting up a trading university will, sadly, be a waste of time just like we have departments of economics in various tertiary schools. This is scholarly engagement and does not translate to practical reality. Money issue is a practical thing. Remember, Professors of economics aren't among the richest people in the world even though they teach the subject matter.

Trading is a practical and not a theoretical engagement. Trading does not really demand that long stretch of time to get it right. What it requires is constant practice and confidence in one's skills and trading plan. There could be trading seminars and symposia but not a university.

A question crossed my mind, how professional traders learn trading?
Is there any kind of education to this?If no,is there a specific wiki to learn trading online (like openclassroom for programming for example)
Thanks
Yes there are professional courses out there that teach you how to do TA and follow trends in order to make the best buying decision. Learning trading isn't just about doing concepts, but it also requires a person to have a stable personality. If you're someone who easily freaks out over small losses, kindly stay away from this world.

Actually there is a subject called Economics in college, and it is one of the subjects that tackles marketing to be specific.
Now, if you really want to master the art of trading. I think you need to start trading today. Make it a habit, you will learn the fundamentals and techniques, but it will take some time. Remember, experience is a great teacher.

trading and all the things you can learn about it such as from the links that were posted so far and topics such as Technical Analysis,..... and a lot more are not exactly scientific which means you can not really rely on them and you definitely can not start a school for something that is not even a real science.
there are concepts in trading that mostly cover economics (for example the most popular thing that everyone talks about is supply and demand) but it is covered in economics and those courses not a "trading" course.

Just go to any school and major in Economics. If you're able to take some classes at a community college, go for it. You'll probably be able to learn a bit about what you're investing in and how to invest better based on how the markets move. There are numerous different types of Economics, so make sure you go into the right field. You'll likely be able to find online courses on particular topics on youtube or even some sites like udemy and pluralsight. For example, on just a simple search I've found this interesting course that has a 4.0 rating on Udemy.

https://www.udemy.com/cryptocurrency/

Just take a look around; there should be enough free material online to go through!

I had some trading stuff in my university course but it mostly was just basics that explain how market work and how people are making money on it. I'm not sure if any university have any decent course (maybe some financial ones teach people how to trade stocks, dunno) but to start trading you have to pass some course anyway. You should never re-invent a bicycle.

OP, be wary of people who try to teach you trading skills because they're the ones usually making money from the teaching and not the trading.  I'm skeptical of offers for this sort of education.
It mostly depends on the level of the studies. You shouldn't be a good trader to explain someone most of the trading stuff. Trading is more about making your own decisions.
I've seen people that were experienced traders promising that you will be able to make 300% profit after their course. Despite they definetely are good traders that was an obvious bullshit.

LOL there is schooling for finance with investment course, or crypto-related program coming out
it doesn't matter even if you have no such qualification background, while you can learn to observe the market before you start the trading.

I would simply say, experience is the best teacher, these good traders we see everywhere were also new  someday.
We can also be like them if we learn constantly.

Yes there is, but requires a ot of money so enrolling would be a waste when you can use it as your capital, why not study on your own? there are many free videos out there and visit investopedia.com for great resource.

I don't heard a legal school or university teaching about trading cryptocurrency.
But I heard some seminars about it just a small group of people they also offer something like they called crypto academy.
but i'm pretty sure that you don't need them. Youtube and google got your back especially bitcointalk forum.
Try to find some friends that are engage into crypto and sharing some ideas and learn together that's what i'm doing now.
I'm slowly learning everyday.

In my city there are some professional trader open class room for beginner trader and this is good thing to increase knowledge about trading strategy and to manage psychology of trading. Here alot of people interesting to know how to make money in trading, and they will pay monthly for that education. But others trader also learn about trading by their self and just learn it from google or youtube because they can not pay monthly cost for that education.

No they are not the same. There is basically 2 types of categories here

1) Economics or Finance degree from a college or University. This is generally a bachelor or master or PhD degree from an acreditted college. This is at least 4 years and maybe some undergrad even.

This degree won't teach you anything about trading. They don't teach TA here, it's not their goal.

Only way how they would learn to trade is if they got offered a job at some prop firm or trading desk at a bank.

2) Online or Seminar trading course

There are basically thousands of these courses found online and even locally. Basically they promise "Make millions without leaving your house" and they generally range from a $5 simple eBook to a $25000 local seminar course.

They basically teach the basics and the rest is up to you. Most likely 99% of people taking those courses lose money. Only 1% or so might survive and make good money.

Hopefully there is a school for it mate, but the school I've known for financial system is a business management. If we talk about tradings or something related to financial management is of fiat business managements, and it involves trading of physical goods. With cryptocurrency trading the learning that you may acquire can be based by experiences which can be leaned online, as to actual trading discussion with friends whose also a trader. It can be done one on one chats with a group of people whose also actively doing same trading job.

Why the hell would someone open a trading school/university? Trading is related to market and economics. So you will need to know the basics of the economics and market in order to understand how to trade. You can google and learn how to trade to make profits. Lots of youtube channels and blogs are out there to help people trade.
But they do, sort of.  I knew someone who took some sort of course on day trading years back--but it wasn't at a traditional university or anything like that.  He took a privately-run course on trading stocks and then he had to buy or rent some sort of software package that was proprietary.  This guy was a true gambler, though, and thought he could make millions.  I don't know what happened to him.  He wasn't exactly a friend.

OP, be wary of people who try to teach you trading skills because they're the ones usually making money from the teaching and not the trading.  I'm skeptical of offers for this sort of education.

I took a course in corporate finance in college, and I found it fascinating.  I could see how someone who wants to trade for a living would learn an enormous amount from such a course--but I don't think many (if any) universities actually teach courses in straight-up trading.  You either do fundamental or technical analysis, and I really don't know how either of those are learned outside of a degree in business or experience.

This medium article lists a few options for learning about trading (presuming you're talking cryptocurrency?), and there are also some great YouTube channels that will point you in the right direction.

https://medium.com/quick-code/top-10-online-courses-to-learn-about-cryptocurrency-in-2018-1486628655b5

When I started getting into trading I followed these channels, great for beginners and not annoying (as some of the channels can be).

Plenty more out there, and google is definitely your friend.

Well,as any job/profession it requires skills right? So it's not just about market and economics it's also about how well the trader is trained and how much experience he have.Schools/universities would be a great way to build traders experience without exposing them to money loss.

I don't know about any courses dedicated to crypto trading, but there are indeed many courses regarding trading forex etc..

I personally have learned about different kind of indicators and technical analysis in general from this site : http://www.fxacademy.com/

There is also a paid course from investopedia, but it was too expensive for me as a noob : https://www.investopedia.com/articles/forex/08/forex-trading-courses.asp

I guess one can learn about the various methods used in technical analysis and implement the same in crypto trading.
I'll check that out.thanks
