It is hard to tell witch Altcoin will be better for long term holding but i choose BNB and ETH i Think these token will be best choice for holding. ETH is most long term Altcoin ctypto and BNB also.BNB already proved their value. i think ETH and BNB is most popular still now.2-3 Years ago ETH price was around $100-300$ but now average $3k+, ETH development increase day by day and BNB also.So i choose BNB and Ethereum.

maybe a definite alt coin like BNB, ETH, Bitcoin, Solana or any other coin that has a top ranking in trading might be good to hold on for next 5 years and for sure the price will go up.
and i just want to say if you want to hold 5 years maybe you should forget the market you hold coins hahaha if you remember it maybe you will check every day or even once an hour

It's hard to trace any altcoin that will give you that it still depends on your investment and market movement, Bitcoin is the only coin that has proven itself in the market the next halving is another milestone in price but you cannot invest hundreds of thousands and expect millions in return, 10 times of your investment is already good, so if you invest huge you'll also make huge profit.

So far, I can only suggest to hold popular Altcoin such as Ethereum, and BNB is what might be able to benefit the next 5 years. We don't know what the other altcoin is like, but now the two coins are the top altcoin at the moment, and I think it will continue to be like that. If the development of Crypto prices occurs rapidly in vulnerable to 5 years, then these two coins will also be included in it. DWYOR.
If you want to be millionaire in the future, then always take the risk. Established altcoins are said to be more profitable 5 to 10 years from now, but investing in bitcoin will be more capable to give you huge profits compared to altcoins. I suggest focus more on bitcoin because there is high probability that it will give you bigger profits in the future, especially if you can maximize hodling bitcoin at the moment, the result will make you exceptionally rich once you sell them at their peak prices.I agree that to become a millionaire from altcoins we have to be willing to take risks, there are two options that can be taken in my opinion.
Our first choice is to dare to invest in new projects that usually promise big profits. But we know that investing in new projects is very risky,
because new projects do not necessarily last for the long term. Many new projects have become scams after being abandoned by the development
team.
Then for the second option we can invest in Bitcoin and popular altcoins, it is indeed much safer. However, because if only investments in Bitcoin
and popular altcoins do not increase as high as new projects, will not be able to get a big profit if our capital is small. So we have to be brave to
take risks by using large capital, if we want to get a big profit if we invest in Bitcoin and popular altcoins. My advice is not to be too obsessed with

If you prefer spot trading, then choose an altcoin that has strong fundamentals for trading such as ETH, BNB and several other top coins with coins that already have strong fundamentals it will minimize the risk of loss for us when trading because price movements will quickly rebound when there is a correction , the most important thing is to always use your own research when you want to trade because we are not responsible for your finances if you experience a loss.

Crypto currency is high volatile trading platform where you can earn lot or loss your assets . After knowing the true fact we stay in this platform due to get more. In this concern I just focus on one altacoin which will give you more than others ,it’s my personal opinion. We know about Shib coin which is known as meme coin but recently we get news that it will occur in the real world use purpose. As far I know ShibaSwap would be the new use case of the meme token. So it can be one of the most potential coin.

Most traders lose money, don't learn this the hard way, just stake cryptos like NEAR, CELO, and ICP until you make it and live off the staking rewards.

a good coin for the long term with great potential? I thought of one name which is Avalanche. good and innovative technology, fast and cheap. you could say avalanche is one of ethereum's challengers in mainstream adoption. and it must be emphasized that the current price is not too expensive, with great potential I believe this coin will generate very large returns if invested long term.

In fact, you can think of shitcoin memes for quick profits and quick losses as well. You don't want to hold it for long. You can only hope for your luck. It's like when you go to buy lottery tickets and wait for the winnings. You know how hard it is, but faith is no longer available on any other base 
. Witnessing the change of the market, I also noticed some problems in myself, when there is a lack of understanding and relying only on someone's opinion, along with following the silly trends of the projects. Non-transparency will bring a negative view in this market. Towards the positive and transparent things in this space, I have some suggestions such as BTC, ETH, BNB,... are you ready to access and benefit from them. The cryptocurrency space is becoming more and more popular day by day, but it also comes with many complications, easy or difficult, regardless of anyone's assessment and satisfaction, so try repositioning if you are at the threshold of knowledge. With the market, we here always want to build a healthy space, not just look at farfetched profits.

Depends on these 2 things:
1. Amount of money you will invest
2. What coin will you buy and hold for the next 5 years.
If you will buy low market cap coins, it is quicker to be a millionaire thru it but it will be quicker for you to lose money as well and if you will hold higher market cap coins, it will be slower to be a millionaire or you might not be a millionaire depending on the money you invested with.
If you bought 361 ETH @ $170.45 last April 18, 2020, that would've cost you $64,619. Now if you held it until now, your 361 ETH now costs $1,062,784. Maybe timing affects your profitability as well. Point here is it depends on the coin/s you will buy and how much money you are willing to invest.

It will be very difficult to get altcoins that will rise very high in the future because with a large number of altcoins in the market, it will take more time to analyze one by one. But maybe you can try to analyze through the list of top 100-200 coins on the market and keep the list of coins on paper for further analysis. Maybe you can find some altcoins that have greater potential than other coins. I have not been able to find what coins will rise higher, but I chose coins that already have a history of rising before, and now the coins are in a very low price position. 5 years? Well it's really hard even if it's only an opinion because there's a lot of big chance that the project won't last until 5 years, I saw many altcoins projects that didn't last for 5 years and some of them get a rebrand. If you're willing to invest that long then just go to coinmarketcap and pick the top 10 altcoins or just go for Bitcoin. Don't ever let your hope will become your boomerang when you're not millionaire 5 years from now.

I wouldn't say it isn't a correct decision if they get a huge profit from it. Probably these people are into short-term investments where they can get higher profit from these kinds of altcoin. This kind of investment is very risky but if you timed it right, You can get 1000x+ profit in a very short timer or you end up bag holding worthless token if you messed up on the timing.
And can we invest in the coin that has low marketcap?
This might give you an answer.

I think you should focus on your goal. From that, you can evaluate how much money you wanted to invest, what altcoin you will buy, and the length of holding until you sell your coins.
For example, in the current situation, if you are aiming for a 1 million dollar profit in 5 years but you are only investing $1000 then I think you won't get your planned result if you invest them on ETH or BTC since I don't think you can get 100000% return just by holding them in 5 years.
