Because if you store a lot of something in a place, it's more likely it gets targeted, targeted to steal everything inside.

Because a bank isn't the point of bitcoins whatsoever. You're supposed to get as far away from 3rd parties handling your money as you can.

I'm sure there are some "banks" around. You basically send all your money and they falsely promise interest on that money, and you'll never be able to withdraw it again. No, this is not the point of bitcoins, be your own bank.
