Because of miners still can get a lot with relative little effort (if you compare it to LTC for example) and then they can still dump it for a few dozens of sats. If someone have some "old" script mining gear what isn't profitable on LTC any longer and also have some cheap electricity, with DOGE it's possible to extend the lifetime of the gear and make a nice profit.

You're not actually comparing Doge to Apple Computer. Are you? Doge is simply a "me too" coin with good PR where Apple is one of the most innovative companies in the world. There is no comparison.

For some irrational reason, I am a complete sucker for dogecoin. If it ever reached $0.10/doge, I'd be set for life, but I doubt that's going to happen. One never knows, though. Cryptocurrency is so volatile that anything could happen.

You're deluding yourself if you think that Doge will be hitting that level. The supply of Doge is just too great for the limited demand. The only way that a coin with a massive supply like Doge will ever hit those levels is if the U.S. dollar sees hyperinflation. Even then, the purchasing power won't be much different than it is now.

Don't know if there is anyone here to be called an expert in crypto, by in my humble opinion, by the definition of your question, i would say there is always a chance for that.
When those kind of question arise i always remember quotes from the movie Dumb and Dumber:
