Absolutely. That is exactly where bitcoin is headed, and you can clearly see this in the confirmed and verified data, especially Chinese and Russian data sources, which are more robust and accurate on all the time-lines and technical analysis charting algorithms. The thing is, when (not if) bitcoin reaches $1,000 again, you won't want to buy it. Shorting is going to be the longer term play for bitcoin as it dives toward $0.
There is such a chance, but the probability is very small. But if that happens, I wonder what you'll do? Will you buy bitcoin then? Or on the contrary will leave bitcoin forever? I would buy, I think this price is a gift

There's a high possibility that bitcoin won't see the light of $1000 anymore. Even the road to sub-$3000 was so hard to break, so judging by the events of the 2018 correction, it simply isn't going to happen, or should I say it will be extremely hard for that to happen (as of course, bitcoin is highly unpredictable). Even I would want to see that happen and check how would things pan out, and of course grab a couple of coins again for the long run.

Well, if Bitcoin did not go down to $1k even when it was on the road from $20k to $3k, I don't think the chances are high. However, I also don't think it matters. People want Bitcoin to go down so that they can buy it cheaper and profit more. But now still IS the time to buy it cheaply. Bitcoin is still very new and perspective, it can reach a lot in the following years. And people used to think that $500 was too much, $1k was too much, and once will be wrong thinking that $20k is too much. The price won't fix this attitude. If you believe in Bitcoin and have the money you can afford to lose, you can go for it at any point, and you're likely to win eventually.

With the current level of awareness about bitcoin and with the expression of Facebook creating the Libra coin and many investors trooping to invest in Cryptocurrency by seconds, I am afraid you will never be able to buy a single bitcoin for $1,000 again. Only buy in bits what your current financial status can afford.
Flash crashes aside, if the price ever goes that low (globally, not on one exchange with some issues), it would probably be the end of Bitcoin. As it would be the 2nd biggest decline in BTC price historically (the largest one was in 2011 when the price went $32->$2), with the whole ecosystem more mature now, there would probably be good reasons for people losing confidence in Bitcoin, and it might not see a recovery.
I only see this price if a tragedy occurs to BTC, and if this happens, you'll not buy

Provably if we see any flash crash in any exchange.Here is how it will work if you want to catch up with this:
There are at least 10+ reputed exchanges. Set stop-lose order at $1000 in each of the exchanges and by any chance, if this event happen then you might get lucky. Keep your money at your own risk coz some of these exchanges or may be all of them may get hacked (legitimately or set up) and take your money from you. No bitcoins no money left for you if that happens. 🤪
In a serious note: We never know the future move for Bitcoin. So, it is very hard to tell if that price is possible. You need to study bitcoins a lot more to avoid looking for answers of these kind of questions.
