The hope of making another win to replace the losses are also a sign of chasing after losses and over the time, thy singular act has never been favorable and I also agree with you that every gambler basically bets to win but they can’t do anything when the losses come  which is another affirmative that gambling is programmed for a player to loss and I also agree with you that the anxiety between winning and losing is where the fun lies since nothing is actually guaranteed but the truth be told that fun will be more appropriate if the winning is over the losses
It is also not certain that you will be able to recover previous losses in the next gambling because gambling is so risky of losing and even though people say there is a chance in the next game. Gambling must be done responsibly because when we lose, it does not affect us nor will we make assumptions that in the next gambling game we will return all the capital we lost before.

From what I see gambling cannot be calculated with exact numbers because there is uncertainty when we are involved in it. Gambling is just for fun, usually only with a prepared budget and even if we lose we can accept it. I lose quite often at gambling and I have never been as lucky as other people who engage in gambling activities like this.

Yes, every gambler bets to win, but if they only think about winning, they will be disappointed because they failed to get it even though they have tried many times. They think continuing to gamble will give them a win so they can win. Even though gambling is not what they imagine, a win will come to the right person. We can't expect to win, so we just wait for it. And when they feel beaten, there is no pleasure they can get except feeling disappointment. This is what gamblers who are still chasing wins must realize so they can change their mindset because gambling is not a place to make money. They gamble to get pleasure regardless of the final result so that they are ready to experience loss and will not be disappointed because they did not bet big money.

Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”
Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning
No one who gambles will admit that there is any fun in losing at gambling. Basically they bet to win but do nothing if they lose. And between winning and losing a gambler feels excited. I think that's where a gambler's fun lies more than anything else. No one would be gambling if there were only losses. But even if the loss is more than the win, people gamble for that win. Many people do not take it negatively even if they lose in gambling but they think about how they can win the next bet.

if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning
If you ask those who are addicted to drugs, why do you consume drugs, they will clearly answer for pleasure, in fact they know that drugs can damage and harm themselves in real and financial terms, well the same thing also happens to those who are addicted to gambling.

Everyone knows that gambling can harm them financially, but behind it all, many people think that in gambling there is pleasure, whether it is: happy, satisfied, a hobby and so on, on this basis many people involved in gambling think that gambling is fun for them.

For me, if there are people who say that gambling is for fun, even though they lose, that is normal and reasonable, because human characters, traits, hobbies and thoughts vary, just as we see someone who likes to race wildly, in fact they know they are doing it illegally without security and protection, the consequences are fatal if they collide with other drivers, they also answer that it is for fun.

Don't look at money, losses as pleasure, look at it from the other side, as I said above.

Defeat is never fun for you. The taste of defeat is always bitter because everyone wants to win and no one wants to lose. Winning at gambling will boost your self-confidence and losing at gambling will create resentment towards your gambling skills and luck. Gamblers are such that they want to gamble even if they win by gambling and they want to win even if they lose money by gambling win or lose both these things attract a gambler to gamble. The reason we say that we should take gambling as fun is so that gamblers do not become addicted to gambling. If a gambler can gamble without becoming addicted to gambling then he can enjoy gambling.
Experiencing loss is unpleasant and no one wants it. But that's what happens in gambling games. If he doesn't want to experience loss and lose his money, he doesn't need to gamble.

Losses will occur in gambling, while wins will rarely be obtained. That is why gamblers must understand that they really have to control themselves so as not to lose a lot. Only that way, he could limit the number of losses he lost.

It's okay to experience loss. The most important thing is that you can enjoy the gambling game and have fun, even if you lose. One day, you will be able to win and as long as you can limit your gambling, that is enough to experience the game of gambling.
No one really wants it but since we are dealing with gambling then you should expect on having two possible outcomes which is losing and winning on which it is really just that normal. No one likes on losing money knowing that human beings does really cherish money so much and losing it or seeing negatives would really be making you impulsive on which it would really be just that normal that you would really be doing things which had been caused by such reaction. If you arent that prepared on losing money then it would really be just that right that you should accept on whatever things that you would encounter along the way. You should not
be touching gambling if you arent that prepared because if you do then you would really be that making decisions which it might worsen up the situation even more.

Gambling is fun but when you are winning but when things turns out to be salty or really just that speaking losing money then it those fun would turn away and it would be replaced by anger and disappointment.
If you cant accept the risks of gambling or the things which could happen then better avoid it on the first place. There's no fun on losing but whenever you do hit up a win
then those losing disappointment would go away and the cycle would continue.  Grin

It's not fun losing money but the gamblers are bound by their habits and addiction such that they use the humor to tide over the bad feeling of losing money. It's always desirable to win on every game but in casino that is not possible and is why the casino wins more than the players.

The games may derive the fun aspect but it quickly closes off once the losses come into view.

However some people find gambling an escape from boredom. That is the correct way to reduce boredom but it's also one of the reasons why they find losing money as fun.

There is no one who is gambling strictly for fun only, most gamblers want to make profit from the risk they take while gambling. Losing some money cant be fun but when we do not mainly gambling for money, we can reduce the regret or reduce the negative effect a bit. Those who cant enjoy the games and playing the game just for money has higher possibility to get the negative effect such as anger and the worse case is addiction. When we put fun as part of our gambling activity, we will not really feel bad of losing some money. It will be like something when we need to buy something for our hobbies.

Maybe the fact is more or less like what you said, someone who says that they gamble just for fun might say that when they have a losing gambling session that makes them have to actually lose money there, this makes a little sense. Basically I think most gamblers are there to make a profit by taking risks and relying on luck. Obviously losing money can't be called fun, but I think that's why there's the idea and advice that we should put down an amount that we can be responsible for whatever the outcome is. So before you play you should have already given up the money so that you can be one of the responsible gamblers and this is useful to minimize the disappointment of losing money.

I think it's better from the beginning that they consider first before finally getting involved, meaning that if you really don't want to lose then obviously it's better not to get involved in gambling because after all this activity is only about winning and losing while winning depends on how lucky you are at that time. Because of course the inability to accept defeat is usually the beginning of out-of-control actions occurring which in the end they will only experience worse effects such as addiction.

What type of amount can ruin your fun when gambling? Then don't use such amount ever to gamble, if you can't afford to see yourself losing a dollar then use 0.10$ to gamble, there should be an amount that won't affect you at all regardless of how much you are making weekly or in a month, only you can figure that out.

If you are not having fun when gambling you should not be gambling, if money is all you want in gambling you are wasting your time, the house is always going to win unless you apply your own safety strategy, I am willing to give $10 away to the house every week because I have afford hundreds of this $10 for myself, so what I lose can't ruin the fun I so desire from a match.

As a gambler you are, the ball is really in your court, have this mind of reality and stop living in a world of dreams, lottery's and casinos are like island of dreams vs the reality, the majority that visits are not going to make it back.

If it doesn't make sense to you, remove the signature, that's really something I don't understand.
He won't remove the signature because it's a way for him to make money, just like he view everything all about money and profit.

Yep no one forcing everyone must be a gambler, gambling is a choice.

If someone have a job that pays only to survive, he shouldn't gamble at all since he don't have any money for entertainment.

It's okay to experience loss. The most important thing is that you can enjoy the gambling game and have fun, even if you lose. One day, you will be able to win and as long as you can limit your gambling, that is enough to experience the game of gambling.

With the rate increase of losses rather than winning in the gambling niche, gamblers need to take it as a fun game, not to get angered by it, and refrain from what isn't acceptable to their mental health. Losing money is not conducive, yes, and nobody would be happy to run broke, due to gambling. Hence, a gambler should control his urge to win as happiness. Because he'd only get angry when he's faced with losses. Gamblers who see gambling as a fun game are only working on stabilizing their mental health. While those who feel sad about losing money, may not sustain the enormous sadness, they'll embrace in gambling. It's better to gamble for the fun and trace other importance of gambling. I don't think people can only learn how to win money in gambling. It's a game of growth and it teaches how to increase our budgets when in business. For instance, those who use the Martingale method, try to master the aspect of investment where a person would increase his investment, when losing expecting a huge win.

But gamblers who follow this strategy, forget that while gambling isn't an investment, they need to learn through it and then apply it in the real life investment. Yet, some gamblers don't operate like that, they see gambling as an investment, then later on tag the Martingale method as a risky gambling strategy. Gambling has no strategy. Every strategy is mainly for learning, which is fun. No one should care about the wins or losses of other people, the goal is to focus on what gambling has to teach us. By applying the moves we make in gambling in our daily lives, the gambler wouldn't have the challenges of worrying about his losses. Everything would look to him as a win, especially, when the main win comes in his business. That's why most men still gamble, and never get addicted or feel the problem other games face each day through gambling.

The fun to me is not in the losing o money, the fun is in the thrills that comes with it. What's the fun of going to a firing range and firing a couple of live rounds out in the air? Isn't that losing money too? That's fun for some people.
Nobody is ever happy when they lose money but we lose money all the time without even really considering it.

Like you said, there are different other things one can use as fun, all I can think of requires you to lose a certain amount of money. The difference is, we lose them indirectly so we don't see it as losing money.
For example, if horse riding is your idea of fun, you're either going to buy or hire a horse, then you're going to take care of it.
You want a bicycle? You pay for it, while making zero dollars from it, that's you losing money.

So here's the thing, there are people that can afford a yatch for fun and they do it without troubles, while some can only afford a monopoly card game for fun, what matters is not going above your means. If you're not chasing loses in gambling and you're not doing it to earn money at all cost, you won't get addicted to gambling. That's just the way I see it.

The fact remains that gambling is of two categories which are those who gambles for fun and those who gambles to make profits.
Along both, those who gambles for fun are of safer side because they are not weirdly emotionally broken at when lost because it is assumed that they lost on the intentional act of accepting challenges of who wins and who looses having fun as the subject of the formula. On the contexts, they could take charge control of their bankrolls, accept looses and maintains a reputable gambling roles without considering making profits but though they expects to win and o not being desperate about it. While those who accepts gambling to make profits are liable to emotional breakdowns at when lost because are they chases is basically to make profits and strictly considered business of income.
This categories of gamblers are most to lost control of their selves with the acts of frustrations and so desperate to make profits. There is where gambling addicts is nurtured, emulated and attracted with the specifications that "I need to win and make profit before I leave the gambling board" and contrarily to achieve this winning which is a zero assurance offers frustrations to the gambler (s).

So the craving of bringing in fun to gambling is to serve as a wall where one can lean on at when supposed to be depressed and also so that one would internally take control of its stakes in their gambling runs at when won or losses.

I don't think so, because the true definition of fun for a gambler is winning his bets. Even if you say you're having fun when you lose, maybe that's just an alibi to strengthen your self-control. I don't deny that when I lose, I often feel disappointed, but at a certain point that disappointment must be brought into a situation that is as calming as possible. So gamblers try not to get carried away by bad feelings when they lose and it's better to just think of it as entertainment.

In my opinion, defeat is still defeat which will lead to feelings of disappointment, depending on whether you let the disappointment control you or ignore it. So basically it's just a matter of self-control, and anyone knows what it's like to lose at gambling, whether in small or large amounts.

You are correct, but adding to this, losing in gambling is bad,but it also gives you an experience. No one has better experience than someone who loses most of the times he Gambles. He must have known the area where if you place a bet on,you will win,and places where if you bet on them,it's going to be a waste of money. It is the experienced gamblers that have a story to tell in the gambling word. But winning is what boost your self moral and confidence to try more and win more. However,in other to be balanced, you must have gotten a lot experience through losing, and must have gotten a lot of confidence for the times that you won, they should work together.

If you understand gambling as nothing more but an accumulation of wins and losses in which the losses are more common than the wins, I could see why you may not get it and in that case you may need to consider that maybe gambling is not for you and you could find a different hobby, but not everyone looks at gambling with such cold eyes, gambling for many of us is a way to have a good time and the money we use for it is simply the price we have to pay to enjoy it.

No one feels happy if they lose when gambling, especially if they experience a big loss, people who experience something like this will definitely feel that they are careless because they wasted too much money. But if the person gambling is a rich person, they may not really care about losing because their goal is just to find fun. Even when they lose, they will feel normal and still be able to continue gambling and for lower middle class people whose initial goal is to look for fun and make a profit, of course. feel unhappy if you experience continuous defeat.

Maybe it seems strange for people who feel happy when they lose and maybe everyone has different pleasures in looking for entertainment. There are people who really enjoy gambling no matter how much money they lose because usually people who see it as fun are good at managing their expenses to a minimum maybe it's possible and still be able to enjoy the joy of gambling.
