I quite agree with you. Caution has to be applied on taking in some of these threads; However, like you rightly pointed out, there are lots of good news! One of which is the news that
Bithumb is to refund new users up to 70% on fees. New users outside Korea are to be reimbursed for transaction fees incurred when depositing cryptocurrency on the exchange within the event period for a limited time.
This reminds me of a similar goodnews of a platform provided by MFChain where Merchants and Customers are free to transact business, no charges no processing fee and instead of running into any case for a refund, a 1% rebate is given to merchants monthly for transaction. Now, isn't that Awesome news!

The bad news is that there still a lot of cryptocurrency holders that are get easily swayed by the FUD news coming from unknown sources. This bad news tend to sow panic selling among the investors particularly the new ones. There are many news involving bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but most of these news are no longer new so we must get use to it.

Yes we can see that the price is now recovering with a good scale and within a few days we will see some bigger jumps in the price of bitcoins. The expert traders have bought a good amount of bitcoin already as the price within a few minutes yesterday recovered from $7k and now it is moving higher from $9k. The time is not away when the price will touch again $20k. Now is the time when people regretted that why they not bought at lower. To them I will say that nature has given them a chance to get the benefit. Everyone have to buy now as when the price started to increase then again you will miss the time as it will not take time in increasing to highest level.

We don't know that yet since it hasn't been a very good start fot february this year. Though btc's slowly climbing little by little now and hopefully it continues to break 10k resistance. Funny how that 10k was the support line a few days ago. Whales still will decide when we'll ride the bulls

Yes of course. More and more governments are replacing their national coins with bitcoin so you will get a lot of that good news coming soon, because governments just LOVE the idea of a decentralized coin they can't control. Of course Lightning network is going to work awesome since it's such a great idea, so that will give a lot of positive news. More and more shops are accepting bitcoins, because they LOVE the volatility, so you will get news from Amazon for example very soon. And bitcoin dominance is rising and rising, more and more people will see that it is THE coin to use because of its ultra low fees and ultra high transaction speed, so that will generate a lot of positive news too.

There are good news out there regarding bitcoin but it is overshadowed by the negative news. There is a news that Samsung enters into crypto mining market producing mining chips to China which i think is a positive news for crypto but we hear more about Facebook banning cryptocurrency related ads.

After this correction i think bitcoin will bounce back.

Even with hard drives of regulations against bitcoin such entries to bitcoin from different firms around the globe gives the user the hope of bitcoin value retain. In specific Samsung entering manufacturing of mining equipment as well south Korea not having plans of a ban really good for the growing community. Very bad news of these days is the regulation on the promotion through Facebook.

yes of course in every day bitcoin prices continue to decline, this is very bad news but on the other hand some investors start buying and holding bitcoin for long-term investment.
I think personally, this is a must if you have big capital buy BTC and other altcoins, because if Btc price starts to rise automatically another coin will also be carried up. that is we can take some of its profit, in this situation we must really take action and take risks.

Im not sure about the Samsung news. Is Samsung going to really compete against Bitmain with their own ASIC gigs? it sounded to me like they will only design chips, or fund other mining projects, but will not design their own purchaseable full mining machines, they will sell chips to other companies I think... correct me if im wrong.

But yes, lightning network news and proof that it's real and working should be enough to make BTC go $100,000+. People selling are simply fucking insane and a bunch of clueless idiots that got into the space not knowing anything about it. They will be the same that FOMO back to it.

I think the Starbucks CEO comment on crypto currency was really a good news for crypto community. But yesterday’s news about restricting Cryptocurrency including Bitcoin ads from Facebook advertising was a bad news for affiliate and marketing.

Can't agree more. People have become so used to close-peak prices, that every level we see today and tomorrow leaves a bad taste in people's mouth, and that while we still are up almost 1000% compared to last year's price. If it's up to me, I would want it to drop significantly lower than $6k, but that doesn't seem all to realistic right now.

That's exactly what I am waiting for to happen, but we are unfortunately an extreme minority. If we really want to initiate a revolution to at least attempt to disrupt the banking system, we need the mass, or at least a good percentage of the mass to follow as well. At the end of the day, it's the numbers (the mass) that count, and as long as we don't have the numbers on our side, the banking system keeps thriving as strong as they have always been. No mass = no gas to fuel the revolution.

Well maybe not for Bitcoin, but Starbucks is going to start accepting cryptocurrency payments. They’ve said that Bitcoin won’t be the one, but it’s still good for cryptocurrencies that they are accepting some kind of cryptocurrency payment. Other than that, there’s not much positive. At least this is a good time to buy with prices down so much.

Since when did good news ever have an effect? The only news that affects prices is bad news.

Good news is almost always abstract and long term. Bad news hits everyone instantly more often than not. And if you dig around you can find just as much good news as bad news. It's all about your own perception.

The price rises not on good news, but more buyers than sellers. And who knows what sparks that? It's not good news.

And,,, Tether is not going to affect Bitcoin, it is going to affect Tether. If there is spill over effect, it will not just be from Bitcoin but any crypto that trades against USDT pair on the exchanges that support them.

No news is worrying me now. A lot of exciting developments for Lightning Network. Using on mainnet, beta testing going on with some people. Blockchain doing c-lightning. Soon mempool will never be 5 digits again!
