I am still skeptical about STO. I think that the market is not ready for this. Besides, I’m not sure that STO is better than utility tokens.

You are so unfriendly about STO, but at the same time bear the signature of such a project, what is the point?
The STO, a new species that has not clearly defined its usefulness, too few projects have used this method.

Yes! There are STO projects right now. I think bitbond is currently one of the STO projects that is running. STO or the Security Token Offering is good because of its legitimacy. We will never be fear in scam or fake projects because STO's are really true. Before it conduct its STO, they should process in government or in SEC. So that they can conduct their fund raising.

There are many sites that provides info about ongoing and upcoming STOs. Here's the one I use
https://stoanalytics.com

STO are basically ICOs that promises to provide the dividends to the token holders. i.e. tokens would be equivalent to stocks of the company.
An unregulated STO is just a scam. A legit STO should be licensed and should have it's operation audited by independent auditor.
Bitbond and blueshares are some of the legit licenced ongoing STO.

I think that during the years of the existence of the altcoin market, many people are tired of losing money on fraudulent projects. Therefore, STO will help solve this problem. I am sure that in the future the security of investing in cryptocurrency projects will only increase.

very many projects run STO and you can search on several sites or you can go to the bounties section. don't just ask but do it yourself and read a lot
Right, asking, but not looking, there will be no results, but there are also people who after looking for new questions because what they are looking for is not found, only for many STO projects that are now one of them is Bitbond.

I am already exhausted joining an ICO projects because most of them will not succeed or it the team will just list the token in an exchange then leave or dump the project due to low crowd funding's. This is why I am eager to look in the bounties altcoin section area to get the chance to join an STO (Security Token Offerings) for it was said that these kinds of offerings were being registered to a certain third party like government to ensure the project's workability and so as to get directly point out the group of people involve who brought up the project.

Is there any STO projects now? Please send a list. Thank you!

Yes. there are lots of STO projects going on.  I know well one STO project is DCI Ecosystem which makes investment easily accessible, comprehensive for everyone.

Unlike an ICO, a security token is essentially an investment contract into an underlying asset; it has all the attributes of a security in that it is a fungible, negotiable financial instrument that represents actual monetary value. STOs are backed by real assets and follow the SEC’s guidance on compliance, issuance, and trading.

An ICO, on the other hand, technically has no collateral. Issuers tried to circumvent regulatory requirements by claiming their tokens were a utility as opposed to a security (as we mentioned earlier, the SEC doesn’t buy that argument). An STO is neither an ICO nor an initial public offering a la stocks; rather, it overlaps both fundraising models.

And why do you need to send a list? Choose any exchange and look for new projects that will be posted on the IEO. Just be sure to review the statistics of the success of previous projects.

I have not seen any STOs rely make waves after the NEXO  tokens, Polymath team made promises but now we all know they are just after investors money, team that can't get in before Private sale level won't make it, to me I don't know why company offering securities can't just go for Stock offering and looking to offer useless tokens if not that they want to still your money

ICO and IEO are two different things and there are no more alternative to measure the success of both token sale style. STO projects are dead after the invention of the IEOs. They will handle the problems created by the ICOs.

STO is a new HYIP, which very soon goes out like IEO because in general it’s just projects that today have nothing good. It's all the same ICO, you just lose nothing, except as an opportunity to raise funds for the project.

Why do you think that STO is HYIP, I think it is different, because the projects are called STO need a lot of conditions.
we will know the results later whether the STO is HYIP or not, so in my opinion if we don't like the STO project then we don't need to join and if we like it then just go ahead.
all you have to make sure is that the project is fraudulent or not.

I don't think so. Serious projects are mostly diverting to IEO since they can easily collect fund. ICO and STO are not having enough response nowadays. I think these will not anymore be hugely used for fund collection.

I haven't found any new STO project for now. But i know a security token, it is GoldMa token.
They has raised about $8mil and built the gold mining site. The dividend distribution is start at the end of Q2 2019.
It is a waves token though, not an erc20 token. You can do the research and due diligence about the project.
I have not really seen this neither. The one I have even heard of is Bitbond, there is one aside bitbond that I saw but can’t remember the name again. Although it was based on what they have on their website as an STO project that made me believe in them, I have not done proper research to really know if it is true.

I really don’t like STO projects that much, I see it as projects that will be for people that can invest in a very big way, because the only way to get a very good interest from STO projects are when you out in big money, interest on small investment when I sued their calculator is very low for me.

STO is only a few projects that use it unlike ICO and IEO that are often used, because STO does not guarantee the security of their tokens, but clearly the IEO is good.

even STOs can't manage to sell their tokens . people just don't see them as any different from ICOs . maybe on bullish trend people will consider making such risky investitions but not now

I find STO projects on the Icobench site. Three categories of ICO, IEO and STO are now created on this site . You can go to the list of STO projects via this link - https://icobench.com/icos?filterTokenClass=security
I took part in the bounty campaigns of several STOs, but haven't yet received tokens. I hope the STOs will become more reliable projects than ICO.

I am surprised that there are too many STO right now, and some of these escape my attention, maybe because some of them are not holding a bounty campaign that investors are not aware of their crowdfunding, STO is good so far the only disadvantage that I can think of right now is the proper marketing.
