Putting what you are about to preach into practice is the finest method to attract individuals to the cryptosphere.

People want to see you practicing what you preach and to know whether it is profitable for you. They believe that actions speak louder than words.

The second is to fully understand what you are preaching.

Not Your Keys, Not Your Bitcoin
Just as many of you have advised me to purchase bitcoin, finally here is a thread where i posted my purchase of bitcoin https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61696079

You have done a good job in buying some sats, it is a shame that the Local currency has all devalued otherwise you will have more but rest assured, if you hold them for the long term, you will benefits and also don't just wait for bull run, if you see an opportunity when the price goes lower, buy more and hold.

My second piece of advice for you is to take your bitcoin out of the exchange, they are not be trusted, if Binance vanish today, you wouldn't have anyone to cry to but if you save them under your own custody, no one will have access to your bitcoin, remember the slang not your keys not your bitcoin.

You are yet to invest in bitcoin, so how do you explain to people how it is purchased, security and why it save to use than fiat. All these can be preached or thought to someone when you have a personal experience. So you first need to invest before spreading its adoption. Let it start with you.

Then you could go on and preach to them about the experience you have gotten from it.
Just want to add with this reply to OP post, if you preach with less information you wont be able to convince them to invest or to dip their hand's on bitcoin, also you could be labeled scammer, and people this days are very alert, since there are lots of people spreading fake information,
OP needs to learn first, or find a person that is well informed with bitcoin, or already in the industry for a long time, unlike him, that will be more acceptable to those who will see or hear from them.

I don't know if this will work on what you are trying to do which is to seek people's attention on bitcoin but it's worth a try in my opinion...

Would you believe such an "ambassador" who does not have BTC in his wallet, but at the same time tells you that bitcoin is what will bring you wealth in the future? Obviously, the OP, because he believes in bitcoin, should start by buying a small amount of BTC and already using his own experience, agitate others.
Well, I could listen to his words or whatever he will say but I wouldn't believe it right away and what I should do is to make a research and see if what he say is true, believable or not at all. I don't know for other people but honestly if it's me in that situation then I will only listen and make some research if it is what he claimed let's just say I am one of the people that op seeking my attention. I met somebody who didn't know Cryptocurrency and all I did was tell him about crypto.

Sorry to say from my title i decided to know if there is any modalities, methods or best way to attract and seek attention out there to let people know about bitcoin without going to speak with them Face 2 Face (F2F) discussion reason because they act to be too busy to pay attention whenever i seems to approach to them.
From my little understanding I have nothing much to support to the community rather preaching about bitcoin and it's adoption to my localities and I believe if I does many would hear it and pick interest towards it and if one picks interest then there is every possibilities they could also convince their friends to pay attention by so doing I would achieve lot of things by helping to spread the max adoption.
From my understanding, I never hold any bitcoin or something else but I love it from the very onset I began to know about it which I picked interest upon myself to evangelize to the world.

Please keep in mind this post wasn't created for merits purpose but as a way to gear up the acceptability and adoption of bitcoin.

Thank you as we discuss the ways, maybe it would be very easier for me to carry out my mission and vision.
Before promoting it to others, you must first pay attention to and understand Bitcoin yourself, and you must have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Tell them about the freedom and benefits they have had since starting their Bitcoin journey. When they are curious about Bitcoin, they will learn about it from the media.

Dear OP, going on a Bitcoin evangelism without actually owning a Bitcoin is you not practicing what you preach and it doesn't make sense. It's like you telling someone to do drugs while you are not doing drugs. Let me ask you a question, in the course of your interaction with someone and he/she asked you if you had/ever had some Bitcoin and you answered no, do you think the person would take you seriously? My advice is for you to get yourself some BTC, trade or hodl it, then you can start from there.
Wow, this is someone funny to me to see how some persons that can very curious to advise people to own a Bitcoin when they don't even have the least Bitcoin in there wallet. We need to show work by example so that others can be more convinced to own a Bitcoin without seeing it as an audio advice.

There so ma y ways we can make people or attract people to own a Bitcoin mostly by showing them our holdings. They .wed to see us own a Bitcoin for them to be attracted to buy and be an holder by following out steps especially when we are rich and comfortable from being a Bitcoin holder.

There are many ways you can got people's attention on bitcoin, first step start with you, can they trust you that what you do with bitcoin is legal, can they rely on the information you're giving them as true and right, not until you discover the kind of personality i you you will just only be deceiving yourself because people had already seen you unknowingly to you, so it start with you doing the right thing that people can talk and tell others about.

I don't know if this will work on what you are trying to do which is to seek people's attention on bitcoin but it's worth a try in my opinion. What you should do is to make a research on those people who earn profit especially those people who won decent amount of money or much more money like years ago, months ago for example and more. You could also show them your investment if you earn profit and also educating them about advantages and risks.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
I was first introduced to this thread because I had some skepticisms regarding how true was one of her posts in another thread, and largely she (Op) informed me that she was trying to learn more about bitcoin in order that she could have better interactions with her husband in regards to the topic.  You can see one of my responses here that link to the thread of our conversation in that thread.

Also, for some reason, I thought that I had seen a post from OP proclaiming that she had bought some bitcoin, yet now I am not sure about that, and maybe I am mixing up OP in my memory with another forum member.

In reviewing this thread, I found that there were quite a few really good posts and suggestions regarding the credibility that experience brings to anyone who is wanting to have conversations with others about bitcoin, and surely it comes off as arrogant if anyone is going to want to consider themselves to strive to be a teacher before engaging in an extensive learning process first, and of course, as many members already suggested one of the better (if not the best) ways to learn is through interactive experiences.

Even in this thread, we find that there are so many members who want to help with the very basics, so anyone trying to learn about bitcoin (or any other topic for that matter) puts themselves in a pretty decent space if they can both show interest in a topic but also to take steps to show that they are engaging in the topic and learning along the way, even if the questions that are raised in the beginning might be very basic, yet if there are ways to continue to show progress and interaction, then the learning becomes more likely to continue.

Many of the longer term bitcoiners have likely seen newbies getting into bitcoin, but then getting distracted into shitcoins, and even if the distraction into shitcoins is not a path that every single bitcoiner takes, there are various patterns that tend to show themselves, even if in the end most members still end up finding their own unique path in terms of how much they might go down a strict bitcoin maximalist kind of a path or one that might involve some receptivities to shitcoins and other projects.

Another common path that any of us might find might be newbies who start threads, but then they do not follow up to the various posts within the thread.  Of course, some posts are repetitive, but frequently it can be quite helpful for the rest of the thread participants to see that the newbie OP is attempting to follow through with various suggestions.. and this thread already has close to three pages of posts with various on-topic and good suggestions.

I would like to see posts from OP that discuss her bitcoin journey on a regular basis, perhaps weekly or every couple of weeks (this thread has been active for more than 5 weeks already) to show that she either bought some coins or did not buy any coins, what kinds of interactions is she having after considering the advice of this thread.. whether with her husband, with people face to face or in other places in which she is learning about various basic (and perhaps more advanced) ideas in regards to bitcoin.

I am a bit of a stickler in regards to figuring out a budget... and starting to employ some kind of a dollar cost averaging strategy, so it can take a while just to figure out your psychology and your budget with maybe $10 per week or some other amount that works, and then maybe after several months or even a year or so, figuring out self-custody if you had not already figured it out.. and of course, the more value you start to put into bitcoin, the more important it becomes to make sure that you understand how your value is secured... including the risks of holding it with third-parties, if that might have been the starting out path that had been taken by the newbie.

Many of the thread participants have already suggested that it can take years and years and years (or at least a lot of hours) learning about bitcoin, and maybe some people might only have a few hours per week that they are able to study or look into bitcoin or to figure out various kinds of transactions and/or bitcoin storage set-ups they are going to do, and then even after they might start in a certain direction, there may be decisions to change some of the set ups in order to feel more comfortable with them.

So, no problem.  It seems that many of us look forward to hearing more from OP in regards to this topic, and to see some actual follow up.  I am similar to others in terms of continuing to have some skepticisms regarding if OP is really serious about the topic or even willing to learn.. through sometimes difficult interactions that might take place in the forum or even in terms of real life interactions and sometimes figuring out ways to raise topics in ways in the real world that are of mutual interest rather than scaring people away... and some of us learn, over the years, that some people might NOT be ready to talk about bitcoin, or they are hostile to bitcoin or they have a lot of bad ideas about bitcoin, but it is not like any of us can fix them in terms of their ideas if they are not ready and/or receptive to talk about bitcoin in ways that are also relatable to whatever place that we might be in.. There may be times in which we need to learn more about the other person.. including that they might raise topics in which we do not know the answer or even have much if any clue about the answer, which should trigger us to perhaps considering researching more into the topic that was raised.. and/or to realize that we do not know enough about the topic that we are trying to discuss.. so in that regard, there might be risks to our own credibility if we are approaching a topic from the position of a teacher.. when our various foundational knowledge aspects are not well enough developed.. Also, sometimes we don't necessarily need to be a teacher, if we are just asking a friend what they think about a topic, and in that situation, we may well end up being way more of a student rather than a teacher... but there still would be a dynamic of making sure that we are not forcing a topic in which the other person is not interested.

In order to convince your friends about investing in bitcoin, you must have sufficient knowledge to answer any question that a beginner may have. In addition, investing in BTC should be a conscious decision of your friends, since they are the ones who will invest their money.

The easiest way to confuse people about Bitcoin is if they can make money straight away out of buying Bitcoin or paying you in Bitcoin, if you are accepting Bitcoin as means of payment for your business for example you can introduce a discount, this works very well...

I've tried telling many people about Bitcoin but very limited people show interest, too many naysayers around me.

I talked to many people about Bitcoin, but few of them were interested in researching Bitcoin and buying Bitcoin. Now they are running various activities in crypto market including their bitcoin trading.

And some people don't want to understand no matter how simple you try to explain it. Because they are more attracted to attractive offers, various discounts can help attract people to learn about Bitcoin.

I'm also surprised that he is not holding Bitcoin but wants to preach and ask people to adopt it, that's funny, and will likely give the same advice when it comes to Cryptocurrency you need to practice what you preach, people will ask you a lot of things about Bitcoin if you arose their curiosity, you will end up as another one who is also ignorant of the answers because according to you are not holding Bitcoin.
What if he asks you for an actual demonstration of how Bitcoin works, how would you demonstrate when you are not a holder and probably don't know how to transact?

Don't force or push any one like and interested with Bitcoin, keep waiting about progress they will realize and understand about how beneficial with Bitcoin adopted as payment digital currency transaction until using for investment assets in the future. Slowly when looking how effective and increasing up investment with Bitcoin they will interested and want to know about Bitcoin.

There are not any specific way how to seek people attention on Bitcoin, show them the progress and beneficial when investing in Bitcoin or using digital payment currency trough Bitcoin. Finally they will understood about advantage from Bitcoin without have to force them enthusiastic for having bitcoin as their investment assets.

You may only introduced it to people that are willing to pay attention not the other way round otherwise if you try convincing them and they picked interest possibly invested and they lost their money believe me or not you will be forever labeled a scammer within your entity so, i suggest you to stay away from people who don't care to pay attention to you then next you could do is to try get familiar more with bitcoin related articles and how to know how effectives it works. This including the security aspect, the kinds of wallets to be used, the exchange where to purchase the bitcoin and how to sell transfer from one wallet to another. I think these are little steps you really needed first before you could fall deeper teaching people around then lastly you should hold at least $50 worth of bitcoin or more.

Bitcoin is so popular now it rules the internet and everywhere its hugging the headlines on many news whenever there is a big fiasco or a big company or brand adopts it, can you tell us your location so we can check the policy of your country and why it is not fully adopted in your location

People should have belief in you and they should see you as someone knowledgeable and a real user of Bitcoin if they see that you are and you are also making a profit they will listen to you, the best people to start inviting is your family and your friends because they know you well and once you converted them or make them believer then they can do this to their families and friends and that's where the domino effects start.

You not having a bitcoin of your own is enough discouragement to those you seem to have the supposed intention of talking to or introducing bitcoin to them. Make yourself a practical  testimony of that which you want others to get themselves involved in.
I will advise you to focus on owning or hodl a bitcoin of your own, you can decide to trade or invest either long term or short and allow the results to speak for you.

I remember at first when I started my journey into bitcoin, for me it was like me just having to try something new as a fresh graduate with no job at the  time but then with time I was making some profits that put me on a different level with my colleagues/friends that we all graduated together that weren't working just like me then,  so they had to approach me themselves to enquire about what am into that I am doing someworth better than them cause it's obvious am not yet with a job so what's the secret
Now that was when I had to explain to them about bitcoin and the little profits am making out of it to support myself.

So OP its a good thing you know about bitcoin, so focus on yourself and every other things will fall into place about you wanting to catch the attention of your friends about bitcoin.
