Yes, there really are such coins. However, most of the market, especially the top coins and high-cap coins, has been showing bullishness for several months now.
Therefore, I see no reason to believe that we are not in the altcoin sehon. Nowhere is it written that altcoin season is for all coins. Obviously, there will be those coins that will grow and those that will remain in place or even fall in value.

Is there still a better upside? That's not confirmed. Some excellent projects flopped seriously to perform during the bull run. Now every altcoins just depends on Bitcoin move. We don't have any idea what will occur in the impending days, however you may also have a look at some of the altcoins, I put half of my assets in ETH, which is a certain bet in my book.

well Cutting losses is normal for day traders or short termers and you cannot blame them from doing it because they already knew the market and knows when to buy or when to sell but sadly this affects the strength of the market.

It's been a while since crypto went on a great ride and many people are already enjoying their investment and it seemed like the altseason has already came way before we even noticed. Right now, the market is indeed on a correction but it is not for the preparation for the altseason because it has already came already. The correction we are experiencing right now is for a new and a much better bull run for bitcoin in the future that will pull up other altcoins as well. We should mind our investment and trust that the current dip will soon end and altseason will come once again.

Like others already said in this thread, we already had a altseason from around the end of 2020 to mid may 2021. Now we experience a phase of price corrections, which is completely normal after such a bull run. Now we have to wait and see if it really only is a short and healthy correction phase or if we go into full bear mode now for a longer time. I certainly hope that BTC will not drop down below 30k and ETH will stay above 2k and that we then see increasing prices again, also for small cap coins as my portfolio consists mostly of them, but no one can tell you what will happen for sure.
