Damn Kiv, you are the man.  If I jack it up to 950, It goes to 71 again. If I put it down at 400, its still at 71.  But 850 seems to be the sweet spot.

Tipable reply. Thank you :]

**EDIT: Holy poop your the one who made the GUI. Now you're getting a tip.  Thank you so much for making an efficient way to get BTC.

Your speeds are low for a 5770. I have the same one and am using the same GUI as you (I wrote it, hehehe) and I get 164 MHash/s at stock clocks and 180 MHash/s when overclocked.

My guess is that you have some program running that is causing the GPU to downclock. For example, if I have Youtube open then my GPU clock goes down to 400 MHz and my hashrate plummets to 70 MHash.

If you have the Catalyst Control Center installed, you should give it a look at the GPU clock and see if it's 400 MHz, or if it's at the regular 850 MHz.

Hope this helps Smiley

My 5770 tops out about 183 Mh/s at 960 Mhz using -v -w128 -f2...

I have done about 12 BTC in this 5 days 24/7 but I have been reading that it also depends of the luck, some days you get more and some days less. I will have an opinion about the end of the month Tongue

Does your CPU multiplier decrease when it's idling?

No.

And FoS, about how many BTC did you make in that time on Deepbit's pool? It almost seems better at this point (judging from other threads).

I don't kwow. It have been only 5 days since I'm mining and I have only mine in deepbit, I haven't try any other. But I think it won't affect, it's the speed your GPU works, it shouldn't be affected by the pool you are mining. I supose  Tongue

I'm doing +/- 172 Mhash/s in deepbit with extra flags -v -w128 -f1. Try not to use anything that will use GPU power like see youtube, some movies, etc.. because it will down the Mhash/s.
I have it with a 5770 overclocked 925/1200.
Without oc it's about 150 Mhash/s +/-

I can't seem to push it over 110 mhash/s... No matter the overclocking I do. I pushed it pretty far but I don't want to blow the card.  Any suggestions?

I pushed one to 202 but not stable for long (<5 mins). Dropped back to 188 stable. The rest of our stock 5770's run 170, I haven't got around to tweaking them.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_Hardware_Comparison

5770 sits at around 150 Mhash/s there

try checking what version of the ati sdk you have.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.62882

seems most get the best result with 2.2

Hope it helps mate

Yes :/ Thats what the Extra Flags box told me to do. I even optimized the clockspeed, fanspeed, and memory (took about an hour but 72.2 was the most i could get out of my card)
