Better not, ethereum is abandoned by many devs. big because transaction fees are getting more expensive and the speed is getting worse, I'm sure in 2022 the transaction fees for sending will continue to rise to 2x the current cost, better invest in MATIC or BNB.
If compare with last few months, of course eth increased lot from its previous position as well as others currencies too. After op created this thread eth was worth to buy as i told cause everytime it covered its value and going ahead. Although eth market still has potential to raise from this position but in my opinion, it better to wait for dip rather than entering market
I will also say the same thing as you because it is the end of the year and the possibility of the decline experienced by the current market will continue so it will pose a risk if we rush into the market, keep in mind that ETH price movements very often follow the movement of BTC then for now it is better to wait until the bitcoin price has stabilized to enter the market.

The dip that has occurred on Ethereum has not been too big so far even though it has been corrected several times, but in terms of size the profits for buyers who are not that many are still very small when compared to others such as Matic and Polkadot and Sand

Its all about market situation. If Bitcoin remain stable we xan say its right time. Otherwise we can expect 3k . it will be better if less entry made here and wait for market condition which sidebits goes.
Recently Eth upgrades are coming and possibly fee will be also reduced so we can see some good project in etherium network. Analysis says it will go 10k+ in 2022. Lets see what happen.

Now that ethereum has reached 4k I believe potentially to 6k in the next bull. Even 10k if ethereum properly handles the issue of high gas costs or even ethereum will upgrade to 2.0. The right time to buy is right now because the market is in year-end discount.
Considering the latest update eip 1559 which makes eth a deflationary coin since it continue to burn eth from fees which is in the long run once supply become fixed at eth 2.0 implementation, it will become once of the most scarce asset in cyrpto same as btc. I think it can possibly follow the price of btc today few years from now.

Ethereum has always been a good buy by any stretch of the imagination. That is why one needs it around, also considering the astronomical gas fees encountered in the Ethereum blockchain, its a no-brainer one has to have a good stock of it to survive in the platform
I believe it is only a matter of time before we see reduction of gas fees in eth network. And besides, eth dev team is for me, one of the solid team in crypto that are really doing their job to enhance the services that they are providing to the crypto community. for investing, there are no good time, and bad time for buying a cryptocurrencies, as investor we just make an invest periodically. we dont see the price in the high or in the low, we must buy periodically. as exmaple, you decide to investing in ethereum every month. so every month you should buy ethereum with your money constantly, doesnt matter the price in the high an in the low. because we investing for a very very long term, and for investing, we hope that the price will go up and up from now

So far the news about the ethereum 2.0 upgrade has not been clear. Ethereum is quite strong surviving in the bear market right now. The price now stands at 4k. I think the price is still too high. I'll see the price of ethereum next week. It looks like it will experience a correction first before buying.

Just wait for more dip to buy ethereum if your target is longterm but if not and your a short term trader that want to earn some profit i think this is the best time because there is a sudden big dump of ethereum price maybe we will see some bounce after this so don’t miss the chance.
