When bitcoin getting popular, it's normal things. Unfortunately my still forbid bitcoin usage so my people still can't make any bitcoin sign as advertisement.
Hopefully one day , my government can realize that bitcoin is not bad as they thinking at the moment but bitcoin is the revolutionary currency that ever been made

This is sign that bitcoin is going mainstream and we would need to invest more as I am planning to open an exchange business in my country. I have also meet an artist to design this kind of big signboard for me. We should put bitcoin sign on every business we do. I was in a meeting last week to have discussion with owner of a boutique's management and I recommend for them to put bitcoin sign on they doors as way to outsmart they competitors. Time is coming when most of the online store are going to accept bitcoin as a means of payment.
Sign or not this is a big sign indeed, this shows that bitcoin is getting more and more attention from time to time, mainstream media was certainly obvious about their interest with the technology that they once think it will never make a impact with the economy that the community had proven them wrong and this is good to show that many big whales are even accepting that bitcoin can get a drop but they can sure have profit about it and I think that is a good thing with bitcoin,

Well, maybe the sign of bitcoin is on the way to go mainstream, but not yet mainstream... Are the boutiques legally enabled to accept bitcoin as a method of payment? If there's a doubt, they can face legal issues from the tax authorities... But I hope this is just a problem of now, and later there will be no obstacle accepting bitcoin as a legal method of payment...

yeah its a banner isaw here in my place to but thats not to large like this..when i saw the banner i was amazed but i dont know if they promoting bitcoin or they accept bitcoin for payment...
Do you mean signature like for the signature campaign? If so, this doesn't look like any. It may be likened to a community bitcoin advertisment sign anyway considering the bitcoin symbol on the wall.
a good sign, if there's bitcoin banner. there'll be happen some developing phase in your country

Its a sign that Bitcoin Become much more famous and others are already recognizing the Bitcoins good reputation. So lets make Bitcoin much more become famous so other will know it and acknowledge it as a good cryptocurrency or digital currency. So they will invest in Bitcoin for their saving and making their money turn into Bitcoin. Also let them know the advantages, benefits and risk to take in turning your money into Bitcoin.
I think it is a good way of advertising it and people that doesn't know a thing about bitcoin would get confuse on what it really is, I think we can make a banner like that in helping bitcoin to be well known in your country and I think this is a good way in really achieving many user in the community.

it's out just to make some interest in people who could potentially get into it or any further involvement. So if you ask me it's just a sign to let people know it's out there.
I think that is a sign that bitcoin is getting widely accepted and known as a cryptocurrency that opens a lot of opportunities for its users and it doesn't matter if you are from different country because bitcoin doesn't have standards to make a user qualified. You just need to have a computer and good internet connection then you are good to use it anywhere.
Accepted yes but if we will based on the picture, it was all about awareness. The sign is just a simple and normal advertisement we can see on the streets and highways. I doubt people who will saw it will even bother to know what's that all about.
But on the bright side, at least, even for small percentage, it contributes in terms of familiarization of the word bitcoin so in case that a certain passerby passes on that sign then eventually they will encounter the word bitcoin, they will remember that they saw it along the way.

I am looking at it from a different angle that what is the purpose of this banner over the wall just written "Bitcoin" over it, no other advertisement of anything on the banner. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Might be this would be a part of any bitcoin campaign like awareness program or events by local community over there, as OP is stating of some recent events about bitcoin held there.

Nice. Looks like a busy street with some traffic, so people will definitely notice it. It is a sign that people around the world are making the effort to spread the word about bitcoin (even with just a banner). It's only a matter of time before we see this type of banners on every store in out cities.
if anyone wants to pay for a street sign like this.. atleast make it worthy.
otherwise you might aswell just get a graffiti artist to just write "$ dollar" on a wall.
for instance have a location that is a regular bitcoin meetup where people can discuss and also face to face exchange bitcoin. make a list of local merchants/stores that accept bitcoin.. and then put that information on the advert. so that people have some direction as to what bitcoin information and utility is available locally to the advert, when they see the advert.
otherwise if people see the sign with no info/context, when they google it they will just be shown the r/bitcoin reddit and all the news about prominent people saying bitcoin is losing its utility.
