Reverse ICO, reverse investment, reverse exchange hack, reverse satoshi, how about reverse CSW??

It's a wonderful idea.

I read about Satoshi and he acted like an honest guy who didn't want any rollbacks or government intervention. he wanted people to have their own money and learn some responsibility. He would never support reversing forks or any of that shit. How can CSW even dare to say he's Satoshi if he seeks a different centralized bitcoin?

I agree with you. Craig's intention is too different from Satoshi.
Satoshi aims everyone to have financial freedom. We want us to be our own banks which are far from regulation which is far from the objective of Craig.
From there, we could already say that Craig isn't saying the truth when he claims that he's Satoshi.
So long they don’t have the access to tamper with bitcoin code, I really don’t get my self-bothered about all these hard fork coins, I don’t think I have ever even owned one. Craig is just a confused being that is looking for attention everywhere and trying to use bitcoin to shine.

We all come here to complain and give our own disapproval for whatever thing Craig is doing to manipulate the cryptocurrency world but yet. We are the one still encouraging him by investing in those coins. I don’t know what they mean now by reversed bitcoin but be sure they will still get support from lots of novice.

Ignore Craig and let him keep trying what he thinks is best for bitcoin but I'm sure the end will justify the mean ,we actually don't need any more bitcoin reversal or forks its already tiredsome for many of us and there is no way we can stop someone like him, many useless coins are already born through hardforks if they want to do more then no problem

I'm getting SICK and tired of people trying to fix Blockstream's code. It doesn't matter what Satoshi Nakamoto thinks at this point does it?

And we don't need another hard fork. And I don't even think this is possible. Thoughts?

I don't even think this deserves attention, no team support using different words or algo or anything like that we can stop this scam fork if we stop giving attention to this kind of coin, people are launching their own fork because it will become a cash cow for them.

...A group of old-school Bitcoin developers ...

if they are "developers" then they must start "developing" instead of copying the same things knowing it will fail. start from scratch and innovate.
history of hundreds of copies of bitcoin failing after a while hasn't been enough to realize this strategy won't work?

I have never read that a hardfork can be reversed, wondering how the community will cooperate to destroy what has already been created if it were possible, I think this will come at a huge cost to the miners and programmers, considering such hurdle, it's better to allow things be.

So this is just Goldcoin becoming more like bitcoin and users have nothing to worry or do about. It's a good thing to see crypto taking inspiration and sharing technologies, making new innovations so that crypto would be with us today and tomorrow. Craig Wright personally is a media hungry old man. All he seeks is some attention which he's losing all the way.

I think we don't need reverse bitcoin hardfork because it will be a big confusion to many investors. And I think there will be no added benefits so it will only make the system more complicated we can stay what we have now so we don't need to focus on it. For my own opinion we need face the challenge of centralization and legalization to avoid fraud cases and scams.

We don't need another hard fork, and chances are we won't have one, but it's possible to do a hard fork. Almost anyone can try to implement one, but if you don't have the support for it to go anywhere, it just fizzles out and dies. That's kind of what happens with a lot of forks these days since they don't have any actual tangible benefit. The same thing goes with soft forks, anyone can do it but it is only as effective as the community that supports the fork.

I'd just ignore the forks at this point, go with what the community says is the new standard unless it's something dramatically obtuse. Hopefully, the community at large has a brain and won't do moronic forks, but who knows. Be a voice of reason, aside from that it's not worth losing sleep over.

Before forks are entertained because of their free trash coins which most likely dies after sometime. Only few people are investing in forks most likely it is not to support it but to profit from it due to it's demand such as BCH.

Ignore CSW, we all know he is a clown and attention seeker. No matter what changes, or how many forks and claims he will do, it's not worth supporting. Let him be an entertainment in crypto community, he is a big joke.

This fork has nothing to do with Craig Wright.

A group of old-school Bitcoin developers is hard forking the BTC blockchain to increase the blocksize. But unlike BCH, we're keeping Lightning. The Goldcoin UTXO set import is the cost of acquiring the brand.

I've written a short Medium article that explains it: https://medium.com/@microguy/the-reverse-bitcoin-hardfork-explained-e723cb9b09f2

I think craig wright got the idea when cz mentioned a couple of weeks ago he wanted to reverse the blockchain so to get back those 7,000 btc stolen from his exchange. It was something nobody wanted to happen or could even be achieved in some discussions.
Csw at it again with the absurd and unknown to garner even more attention away from bitcoin and its blockchain. Roll Eyes

You think this is related to the Binance 7000 BTC hack?  Huh

you need to be a lot clearer about that! what you said here doesn't make any sense and the only information that i could find about "Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork" is a GoldCoin related thing (link: https://www.goldcoin.org/fork_faq.html) where since it is a copy of bitcoin they are basically pulling changes from bitcoin to their own fork and adding them there which has nothing to do with bitcoin.

That's what I'm talking about. The medium article on that page says that the new chain will be the official chain?!?  Huh Huh Huh Huh

well that has nothing to do with bitcoin and i don't see the connection between that and CW!
GoldCoin will have a hard fork where they add a lot of new features which they copy from another project (in this case from bitcoin) then the new chain after the fork is going to be the official GoldCoin chain! as it is with any fork.
that medium article is intentionally using certain terminology and is advertising it in a way to hype their altcoin up but in the end it is still an altcoin that is copying bitcoin code. there are at least 50 of them that have done the exact same thing from the most popular one LTC and BCH down to less known ones like BTX.

That is probably what is happening here. CW is a man of publicity and attention and he is open to any idea to further his own sick dramatics. The man has the capacity to entertain absurd idea even for the sake of being talked about. As to that "Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork" called GoldCoin I think they can do whatever they wish for that blockchain and we in bitcoin will not be affected. Seems people these days are disconnected with realities and workable technologies.

Hard fork getting reversed???

This is honestly getting more confusing thought only a soft fork could be reversed??

And why is Craig still trying so hard to be satoshi..

Supposedly the developer behind this fork is one of Satoshi's disciples?
