Many people who know Bitcoin from 2010 made the mistake of selling it cheaply or even lost the private key of their wallet and it happens very often, just move on and start to get Bitcoin back by buying or mining.
lol Grin I'm one of the people who lost their priv key. i was think that bitcoin not valuable like this. i was wrong. bitcoin the most expensive currency in the world Angry
I am not condemning you or anyone but it is a very careless and irresponsible act. Private Key must be treated as an extremely important information. Also, you cannot brute force a wallet (assuming still have that) for such a long key. It would take a lot of time.

I heared of bitcoin several years ago and i thought that it is  stupid and fake activities, last year my friend started bussiness with altcoibs and bitcoins
Now he is very rich.
I am very sorry that i didnt velieve of btc several years ago  i am sure now i will be a millionaer.

I think there are as many stories about how people didn't believe or how they sold their bitcoins for just a few cents or dollars as the people involved in bitcoin, each and everyone of us have their own stories but the best thing is we can still be millionaire in next few years if we start buying and holding bitcoins now so it's useless regretting the past, think about the future and stop crying over the past. As there's no predefined or preset value or price bitcoin can attain in the future so even if you sell some of them when you think you're in profits I don't think that's anything to regret about so just keep buying and holding and stop regretting.

Yes, probably they were the same bitcoins and you would be rich by now. When someone has 200 bitcoins know, he is very, very rich. Even when money is not in the bank, they can be converted to cash in minutes...

But, how could you know? almost everybody would have sold them for a much lower profit.

Actually, bitcoin is one of the key to become rich or millionaire and if you have a lot of bitcoin can probably become millionaire. In addition to that, if you already have bitcoin I suggest to you to hold it because there is a possibility that the price of bitcoin will increase in thw future and it will result to a high income.

Also, retroactively, you can sweep wallet and get the BCC too, nice 'little' bonus there aside from the main Bitcoin  Cool

Just remember, once you spend your Bitcoin, they are gone! So spend them sensibly.

The pizza guy story is awesome!! I have about $100 in bitcoin right now.  It's not a lot but its a great start.  I recommend you take a little bit out of your account every month and start investing when it's low.  Today, BTC is low.  Buy today and by the end of the week you should have a bit more money than you started with.  Good luck!!

You could just try to buy atleast 20 bitcoins now or buy few more to sum up to 20 bitcoins and wait for 5 years atleast i can guarantee you that you will be a millionaire   just remember to hold your bitcoin don't panic if the price drops it will recover whatever you do just hold a good amount for a long time and millionaire is a guarantee

Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?
I just got confused with your statement mate, so your saying that you have 400BTC which is worth in you currency  £1,000,000. Well, congratulation if you have that, you are one of the millionaires now, however, you need don't need to be frustrated just because you made a mistakes it is still not too late to correct our mistake anyway.

in a literal sense it seem unrealistic but if you have a goal it is possible. 1 million is a goal, it is possible but it would take a lot of hardwork it would require a specific time period, you don't have to ask for it in a fast and easy way. you'll just have to work hard and you'll surprise yourself in the future maybe you have done it. learn to invest everything you've earn or put it in a business sure that will work.

You would indeed be a millionaire. I know people in the same boat, that were offered or told about it and then never bothered. I had no idea back then tbh, I was quite late to the party.
It is not too late for the investment in bitcoin and we can be millionaire in bitcoin if we are just determined to reach that position. Just do a lot of hardwork and earn bitcoin as much as you can and keep those bitcoins in a cold storage for long term and after a few years you can become a millionaire without noticing it just like what happened in my friends.

You did make the biggest mistake of your life but I can't blame you for not believing in the power of bitcoin. It has very low value and an individual will be doubting to invest on something which do not have any chance or potential on growing. Well the end is where we always regret, but its to late to be sad now, instead try to invest now since bitcoin has now a great potential of growing more larger this following years Smiley

every people make mistake in their daily life but if we can learn from our mistake and make sure that we don't make the same mistake, then i think the sad feeling will not come again. i am one part of that people in beginning and in that year, i don't believe that bitcoin can help me to make money. but after i proof it by myself and i show the final result to my family, i see they are shocked too and can believe that it is true.

I think you have made a big mistake friend. once bitcoin was not worth it because the price is so cheap. but bitcoin has now become the king of digital money even beyond gold. I think you are wrong in taking the previous decision because you are selling too cheap too bitcoin if you hold bitcoin until now. you've become a rich man and even a billionaire.

Wow this is an amazing story! If that happens to me, i would stop using bitcoin and just withdraw to fiat... Just build some flats or houses, rent them and you are finished, you can make your retirement instantly.
Such a bad luck.. I had a story like that a few years ago.. but obviously not with that amoun, i had 1 btc that i bought at $300 each, and i sold it at $330, i was so stupid i think.

My heart ached after reading your comment honestly. You spend 300 dollars to buy a bitcoins and then sold for 330 dollars. Apparently, you were not in a need of money. It looks like you didn't consider bitcoins worthy to hold. It’s useless to cry over spilt milk. You still have the chance to earn bitcoins.
You are still on time, but bitcoin now is close to the 5000 and it shows not a single sign that is going to stop, so the most important thing is to hold your bitcoin and do not let go no matter what happens, and do everything in your power to raise even more bitcoin, earning a bitcoin was already hard enough with a price of 500 dollars and now bitcoin is ten times above that, so it is ten times harder to get a single bitcoin.
You are absolutely right my friend but this guy here deserves sympathy, don't you think so? He underestimated bitcoins and now he wants his BTCs back, poor lad. He would have been able to do a lot with those sold out bitcoins but now he can only regret.
He has my sympathy but at the same time we cannot cling to the past, I have my own share of regrets as well and I think any person that invest in crypto has his own story about a coin they were watching and decided to not invest and now they regret it, what we need to do is to find new opportunities to earn bitcoin and the sooner we forget about the past the sooner we can work for our future.

Wow, you really have lost your golden chance in life without you even knowing that.
I'm expressing my pity for you, if you hadn't sold your bitcoin that time, you would have already been a millionare now.
It's too late to regret now. So why don't you start earning your bitcoin again, and now, be smart and not sell them?
You shouldn't repeat the same mistakes twice.

Stop regretting now and lets just focus what we have now and for the future.
Well no one really knows what will happen so OP sold his btc, like of course if he knows he wouldn't sold it.
And thats a really huge lose. So for now, you're not even too late to start over again so buy some satoshis and make grow of it. Trade or hold it, do whatever just make it grow again.
