We have said it time without number that sending ETH or BTC to get back something bigger is a huge scam which has been around for a long time now. They usually perpetrate their evil on telegram and use alt account to give a false testimony. Stay away from such temptation.

as we saw that the link that you presented above clearly looks like a ponzi scheme, I mean that site is a SCAM. I tried pressing the eth and txnhash address (ETH transaction) does not display valid data and always displays the site's home page. this is really my friend's scam.
If txhash don't display by admin of this website i think this is what we need to concern because they creating fake transaction.  So that people atrract to invest ethereum , I already see this before and this is not new so now stop invest on this ponzi scheme.
There's no chance that real txhash will be shown and if this is for real we will experienced lots of delays with ETH network as there's a lots of transactions being made. For once, you just need to think if how the developers will be able to sustained such huge amount of freebies, there's no one who's going to give you free money, also, just in case txhash will be provided manipulations can be done by sending own ETH to owners wallet and provide it as reference, don't fall to this scheme.

I often see this kind of fraud. yes, maybe for some ordinary users it would be very tempting to get a big prize on the easy terms just by sending coins then getting double the amount. in fact this is a form of fraud scheme, just imagine the system makes every second payment in large amounts. even anyone also knows that there is no easy way to expect something that is in accordance with reality.

can someone check this site? about the 2x fold prize of ETH.
if someone sends 0.5 ETH to their address & will get a bonus 2x = 1 ETH

https://mixineth.com/

2x bonus will be sent to the address that you entered or that you want from ETH.
Are gifts like this true?

As everyone were saying, it is most likely to be a scam. Too good to be true promos like this are all just a scheme for the scammers to steal your money. There are also other indicators that can help you determine the legitimacy of a promo like how well detailed the info about it and how well it is managed and promoted in many social media platforms to gather people. The odds of winning must also be small so that you will know that the team behind it does not really aims to trick you but just to promote their project and the promos is just a bonus.

I do not want to click on that link. It could contain phishing even though it really isn't. I just want to be careful. In addition, giving a double is very tempting for everyone, but please also know that fraudsters use any means to take someone's money. Maybe someone wants to check further and give comments. I do not dare.
Yeah this kind of givaways are mostly scam and it's so risky! I mean most of givaways should be free and not require you to send money which it's somehow fishy. I don't think that anyone gonna take this risk and send 0.5 ETH to get back 1 ETH in that way. I think it's better to wait and see if it's legit or just a scam.

Fed with this scheme. It even sound like a network scheme. They seem obvious that they are going to scam you out. Better stay away with such persuading offer. Because if they want to send some gifts they should not ask for someone to send it first, because they must give it right away without asking any in return, if it really is a gift anyway.

EDIT:

It is a scam, I don't really need to check the website to know that it is, people need to think a lot more about what they do with their money, do you think that someone is going to be as generous as doubling your money and not get anything in return? You have to remember that once you send your coins to a wallet that you do not control then it is impossible for you to recover those coins, scammers are taking advantage of this by making all kind of promises to gullible people so they sent their money to them and if you do you are never going to see that money back.

The gifts that ETH has given us are wonderful. The prize is 2 times higher than the normal value, it's very high, isn't it? This bonus will be sent to the address you entered from ETH. Smiley

There is such a popular expression - free cheese only in a mousetrap. I observe that in this thread more and more different pyramids and other fraudulent projects began to appear.

I checked that site. Currently the 2-fold prize of ETH is a pretty good opportunity for us, take advantage of this opportunity. 2x bonus is a gift.

Didn't bother to check the site because it might contain malware or something like that, but from how you described the mechanics of the bonus, they are the one that gets the bonus so probably ditch the site and hold your ETH there, mate.

Don't trust anything for free in the cryptocurrency market, because most of them are scammer and you will lose all the money if you try to try them. I am sure the site is a scam and you should not deposit it. There is no reason they will send you twice the amount you deposited into their account. I hope this site will be quickly bookmarked and closed down because most newcomers will probably be fooled by tricks like this, a very simple scam but it fool many greedy people

The oldest scam in the book, just checked your rank and activities to confirm for myself that you're truly a newbie to believe that something like this would ever be genuine, when you see genuine giveaways like the just concluded Keybase XLM giveaway, they would not ask you to send them any funds in other to receive the funds they want to send to you and any giveaway that asks you to send them funds first and receive a larger sum in return, then it is basically no more a giveaway and has turned into an investment and since it promises such high returns, then it's just a Ponzi scam or HYIP and both of them are your highway to being scammed on the internet, I hope you have not invested and never would.

Don't send anything your money will gone and you'll get nothing. Give away is free even sometimes they want us to finish task the prize is free. I suggest you check your email/ social media to find where give away link comes from, delete it and block the sender if necessary. Don't take risk with something like this, your money is real asset that need to always protected.

This is absolutely scam! Don't fall for it, don't try it with even 0.50 USD! Where did you see? or you the man is promoting this scam shit thing? In the telegram, many people do this almost every month, and they have many alternative telegram accounts and photoshopped screenshots to spread lies that I got it, it's real and so on! However, you gave a screenshotort, can you give the trx link to verify?
Damn it's 2020 but still there are people that will fall on this one, even asking if this works omg. I could pull it off just by using inspect element on browser and change the the real variables into fake ones. Or the OP has done it by himself? He sent an eth to himself , in different address then sent it back in doubled amount?

This is a total scam, and don't fall for it. There are legit bitcoin doubler making it as a gift but not on random telegram users. Never.
