It's not entirely different from how I thought he might be doing it.  They both involve South America, anyway.

No, it doesn't. Paper comes from trees, you use paper to print money... ergo, money comes from trees.  Grin
Fail, "paper" money is actually made from cotton and linen.
Really? Ours is made from vegetables Tongue

Ours is made of plastic ( Canada )

Not just the 100s but the new 50s as well.

Fantastic technology.

That's not a bug but a feature.  Encourages people to spend them in the Great White North rather
than taking them to hotter climes down South.  Of course it is best to store them in ones igloo
rather than on the dashboard of ones car on a sunny day in summer.    Grin

And plastic comes from oil. Canadian paper money is made from bitumen, which can be exchanged to MintChip, which can be used to purchase bitcoins. Ergo, bitumen-->Bitcoin. On a related note, Canadians have started to lock their doors for fear of having their intellectual property stolen.

Please note that the above mentioned yield rates are based on past performance. Please be aware that the value of investments can not only rise but fall, the forest may burn down, or we may abandon this project all together, leaving investors on their own to figure out where we claimed to have planted the trees.

Please visit our sister site, Gage Lumber, if you are interested in purchasing lumber via Bitcoin, taking delivery at some point in the future.

I like this site! I'll now read the rest of this thread to make sure that what I wrote above hasn't already been posted.

  • Trees physically grow increasing in size and value
  • Timber is a finite resource and global commodity
those two points contradict each other.

Not exactly. The first item does not say "infinitely". The second does not say "rare". Both statements are entirely true.
