Its a very good thing for them and actually we have nothing to do about it except enjoying a better facebook. And also i read that there will be no ICO so they will be self-funded.
If this is true that Facebook will create their own cryptocurrency then this a great news for all of us. We all know that Facebook is a big company and very popular all over the world, if they will introduce their own cryptocurrency , i would be the number one supporter of this project. This will make the work more easier if the people know and enter the crypto world.
I think if facebook truly will make their own particular crypto then it is an incredible headway and it is by all accounts simple for them since we realize that facebook is one of the online networking worldwide and nearly everybody knows it.

We don't need to worry about the news of facebook creates their own crypto coin, and let us wait for that kind of facebook coin, hopefully it will succeed. Maybe there is a big possibility that if facebook created a crypto coin, that coin will be a very popular coin and create a high market price value, because it reflects to the popularity of facebook that majority of people are now accessing on facebook.

The main purpose of the idea is to use the decentralized feature of the blockchain system to address some of its most bothersome problems like identity verification or advertising sales. I think Mark Z. saw the benefits of integrating the blockchain technology into Facebook's system which is why he created a small group specifically for this function. We don't need to panic if Facebook wants to launch its own cryptocurrency. Definitely, it will succeed. It has all what it takes to be successful. Let's wait patiently till then when Facebook will launch its coin.
It might be true, no wonder Facebook did not allow cryptocurrency advertisement on their platform, maybe it's a way of mininizing their competitors
