In my opinion is plus one news that can alert investors. I do not have much crypto time more watching years ago the marketing of the coins were not great and the forum was the main means of disclosure, can we expect this again? With the positive answer, what is the negative point of this?

Well, chances are Twitter will follow his predecessor steps google and Facebook, but i haven't seen progress to the extent to which Twitter will do it, because if i see there are still some crypto advertisements that plastered.

In the past few days, there's rumours that Twitter is going to ban off Ads related to Crypto and ICO

However, the news today
https://usethebitcoin.com/jack-dorsey-twitter-ceo-believes-bitcoin-will-become-the-worlds-currency/

Hence in this Case, is there contradict within this or the CEO doesn't deal with all these policies?

One can both believe in bitcoin for the long term and support banning crypto related ads on a platform. Especially if the ban is targeting ponzi schemes and scams that add no value to the crypto community in the first place.

It would not surprise me if Twitter joins the other social media giants in banning crypto ads.

However, it'll be different as the attitude the CEO has towards crypto is different compared to others. He seems to be interested in investing in bitcoin and for that reason, he may not actually ban these ads. Even if they do ban it it honestly won't surprise anyone or affect the market that much.

It seems like big players like twitter, facebook, google (along with institutional money) are all waiting for more defined regulations around cryptocurrency.

The types of meetings between regulators, like the one in Japan, keep happening. https://www.ccn.com/japan-quietly-hosted-a-blockchain-roundtable-for-central-banks-regulators/

Feels like the year of regulation in crypto

It is a logical step in this phase of cryptocurrency adoption. We all have observed significant ICO scams that could have brought negative sentiment against advertisement platforms e.g. Facebook and Twitter. It also means in my opinion that working "crypto products" are welcomed to be advertised there!

this is where we have to understand what they are doing, they just ban ads from crypto and offers from ico. so we need not be afraid and worried about their prohibition.
First off, no way they would make a public statement then not follow through on it, that would look extremely weak. Secondly, there is zero need to worry they are just trying to prevent spam and scamming, which is good for everybody. All of that should make you feel good long term, I doubt it means they are against cryptocurrencies as a whole, but rather the scummiest of individuals who are here.

This is not as big a problem as its is being made out to be.
There are a lot of scam sites being created and scam ICO's
being advertised and its difficult to identify good from bad
at times so I can understand why they are taking this move.

This ban will not prevent anyone from promoting a project
using the twitter platform, this only applies to paid ads.

I think yes but for me it is not big problem, of course we can see in some point that market will go again down but it will be only for a while.

I don't think why people think this is not a good thing, the number is scams in the space is growing and most people fall victim through most of these site, and again this is a good thing because Crypto bloggers now wiould likely be better rewarded now because their would be more ads displayed on their sites

Only ads by bot perhaps but by retweet it will just go as normal like a normal day, since ICO accounts already know the policy of Twitter before they make a tweet to be share.

As many others have said, there may be a cleanup. Unless it's something really solid business related to crypto, they will not publish the ads.
I don't see it as a ban. I see it as a call for normality. Let's not promote each and every business, no matter how shady it is, in the name of crypto.
And in this view, it's not anymore a contradiction with the CEO beliefs.

Yeah, it might be more of a cleanup it seems
Normality hmm like Facebook and google i believe?

Anyhow guess it is consider a step of revolution and undergo it seems to be good and smooth for a long term
