True, in general USDT is a stablecoin benchmark for other stablecoins with value accuracy adopted in fiat USD so that it will always be maintained and will not make sense if it becomes a scam, because the risk is also never there.

probably its just a fuds so that they can convince traders to change another stable coin.

by the way mate kindly share the link here so that everyone can give a good comment for that news. Because to be honest i never heard such information about usdt as it's is the common pair of some traders since the very start, and its a stable how it become scam? Lol

Obviously USDT is trustable to me. In crypto market USDT crying its portfolio as stable coin and now market is too much vast and increasing day by day. So how i cannot believe USDT? Lot's of investors trusted in USDT and i also there. So you can easily trust on it.

I am regularly using stable coins and it's fine. Not yet faced any big issue with stable coin.

If you do some scam, fraud, hack, etc, Then your stable coin may get blacklisted. Without it, your coin is safe to store or use.
First elaborate more in detail, maybe after that we can give you the proper solution or answer of your problem.

There is a certain disdain in the crypto community about USDT because it is pegged to USD and the supply is centralized. It goes against the actual ideal that cryptocurrency hopes to emphasize - decentralization.

USDT being the coin with the largest daily transaction volume with the average daily volume being 2x the daily volume of bitcoin, I always trade with USDT if I see the market is too volatile so the asset will be safe. there is no doubt that USDT's success has inspired many devs. which develops fixed coins in the future.

Generally mentioning USDT like it's a common known symbol, becomes inappropriate nowadays. USDT is the symbol for many stable tokens USD-based.
Except for USDT Erc20 built in top of Ethereum blockchain, almost all the others built in other blockchains are decentralized and not owned by a centralized entity.

They can do this; Tether Can Freeze and Destroy Your USDT

If you want to hear about the negative news of USDT you will find plenty if you google as there is no shortage about it and you cannot trust them as they keep on minting new coins in the market all the time and there is no transparency. Bloomberg recently publish an article regarding their transparency questioning their claims about backing $69 billions as collateral and you know what, the funny aspect is that the team behind Tether did comment on the article but did not talk about showing them the collateral .

But in fact, FUD will not decrease the trust because Bitcoin itself is valuable and we trust this.

USDT still becomes the biggest trading volume and market cap among others.

If you are that worried there is no point waiting for something to happen at the coin for you to make the change, just move your money to another stable coin, now most of the time you are going to face the same problems with all stable coins that are supposedly backed by fiat, since it is doubtful the one which created the coin has as much fiat as they claim it is backing their coin, so it is probably a good idea you look into decentralized stable currencies as well.

USDT is the most widely used stablecoin and it is very difficult not to use it.
I prefer using Dai for long term storage.

Simple, if it's a scam then why is USDT surviving to this day? No scam lasts long. You should drop the bad news source for us to see and read. So this is not considered a breeze. If you are planning to replace a stablecoin other than USDT what is a good choice? don't they all have the same stable value?
