Don't believe all the videos from ISIS. Ukrainian CyberBerkut released some interesting footage, grabbed from laptops of Sen. McCain's colleges that they had with them to Ukraine. Wonder if Senator McCain or Senator McPalpatine.  Roll Eyes

We, CyberBerkut, have received a file which value cannot be overestimated!

Dear senator McCain! We recommend to you next time you are on a foreign trip, and especially to the territory of Ukraine, to not take with you confidential documents.

We have found a lot of interesting on one of the devices of your colleagues. Some of it we decided to publish: given video should become property of world community!

The video shows how the "execution" videos by ISIS are staged.

You mean like Hitler and the Nazi's were Europe's problem? Or like the Taliban/Al Qaeda was an Afghanistan problem?
At what point do you stomp on a cockroach? Do you smash the first one you see or do you wait until your entire house is infested?

Your argument would only hold water is US intervention doesn't make the situation worse. Which it will.

Don't forget it was our intervention in Iraq in the first place that created the power vacuum that let ISIS rise. It was our intervention in Afghanistan in the 80's that gave Bin Laden the weapons and training his followers would later use against us. Our support of Iraq in the Iran-Iraq war radicalized the country to be vehemently anti-American. Our interventions have a very consistent track record of causing unintended and dire circumstances to arise. Who can make a reputable case that our continued actions against ISIS now are only causing positive results, and not further radicalizing those prone to anti-American rhetoric? Who can say our interventions today aren't causing the problems of tomorrow?

And we naturally do that by allowing them to come to the West and sign up for welfare benefits, intermixing with our own population. It's a great strategy so far.

Don't wear yourself out building those Straw men.

That's what most people are arguing.Personally, I say it's an Arab problem and Arabs need to fix it.

I don't know why I keep getting surprised by the behavior of ISIS. It's like you're seeing something from the middle-ages happen before your 21st century eyes.

"...And couple hundred more years of exposure to western culture and the Internet".....

Exposure to Western culture seems to be only radicalizing them even more. It is estimated that at least 10% to 20% of the ISIS jihadis were born and brought up in various Western nations. And don't even talk about exposure to internet. They are using it to propagate their misinformation campaign (through various Twitter accounts).

Hi
Who else wants ISIS to exist except the members of ISIS itself. What are they trying to prove with such heinous crimes? That people need to fear the religion itself. They need to be killed , all of them , they should be shot dead.

When exactly was the day when America lead the cavalry charge to rescue the oppressed?

Hmm...., not a movie watcher are you?

Who said anything about influential *people*?

The Arab Spring was driven by YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter and that was just the beginning.

Are you under the impression that the content for YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter are created by robots, or zoo animals? Witty kitchen furniture perhaps?

So contrary to what you said before you do believe the solution requires the involvement of actual influential people in the west?

Is ISIS somehow oblivious to the influence of western culture? Or could it possibly be the main reason they are accepting of such violence in the first place? Why do you think America is the great Satan? Why do you think a war between factions and a Starbucks on every corner is going to change that?

No OP, those are not called Freudian slips. They are called
"Bushisms" and unfortunately Obama made one....

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."—Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

The day of Americans leading the Calvary charge to rescue oppressed is no more folks, we shall see if Isolation, Leading From Behind, and failure to supply the Kurd is a good policy or not? In the meantime, do like liberals and block out the screams, the horror as best we can. Focus on that Confederated flag, yea, that’s the ticket. The Progressive Socialists would love to do the same thing here for those who won’t accept Same Sex Marriage, Obama Care, or the Redistribution of Wealth. This admin has already exposed for attacking conservatives and Christians by using the IRS, DOJ and FBI in trying to prosecute Obama's opposition. IMO, Obama doesn't want to stop this barbaric carnage, in fact just two days ago, Obama made the most Freudian of all Freudian slips.

And that's what's going to fix the motivation for the violent promotion of Islamic supremacy?

Then when ISIS beats Syria and then Iraq, they'll have to deal with an Iranian invasion of Mesopotamia to protect their Shiite allies. Or they'll have to deal with direct ISIS assaults on their own territory.
