Slow down, cowboy. Mesoamerican civilizations were in some aspects superior to Europeans (and the bigger examples of this are the extremely efficient taxation system of both the Incas & Aztecs and their engineering capacities which were frankly astounding akin to Etruscan technology in its respective time stamp) but couldn't hold a candle to European military might and general cunning and that was their downfall. Besides, intrigues and civil wars were the motors that crumbled the mighty Mesoamerican empires, especially the Aztecs.

That does not mean one civilization is "superior" to another, for instance, Russia could trample Finland militarily but I think we both can agree that the Russian civilization/lifestyle is by no means superior to the Finnish one (especially if we put in perspective life quality aspects).

With all that said, I see no correlation between Christianity and European supremacy over the Mesoamericans assuming the conquests & expansion were hardly religion-fueled and, if anything, the Catholic Church was a deterrent to "utmost development" because it heavily burdened & opposed exaggerated exploration of the natives.

And, at last, to compare the current world order and its socioeconomics factors with those of 1400s is absolutely anachronic. You can't really measure that efficiently. What would be better was to measure Mesoamerican "socioeconomics" vs Europeans. Take a hint? It's a 50-50 battle to say the least.

Religion is hard to talk about. Its a belief system but people under such belief system see it as true. And because if this, when we try to apply logic in the conversation, what is considered accepted would be true for one person and false for another.

I'm an agnostic. I agree with you on concept how religions seem to be derivatives of each other. Some might agree, others might not. I'm open for discussions. The Bible, Quran, and Torah have tons of similarities and similar Prophets. The evidence is there. Just imagine someone making a religion today based on those characters and events. Would it be seen with the same respect of the aforementioned religions or crazy talk?

It seems you have just recently signed up to this forum and as a newbie have started a thread that could be deemed as highly inflammatory and demeaning to many users. It would be highly unlikely a new user would do so but an alt-account could do it and maybe that is what happened here.

Keeping that aside, this thread title shows you have no (or very little) regard for the feelings and sentiments that others might hold that are contrary to what you believe.

Just because there is an inherent right to have a freedom of expression it does not mean that right comes without any responsibility of how and where and when to use it.

I have my own views on all things between religions and geo-political but would never use the derogatory words and sentences to describe them because I can express my views on those matters and get my point across without stooping so low.
