buying a copper membership and reaching the Jr. Member rank of this forum is the best thing to post and image.
It's not correct.

  • You can post here with whatever rank. There are limitations on lower ranks but to be honest, I don't see too much inconvenience with waiting time between two posts (6 minutes for newbie members). Because I even spend a few minutes to read, pick one to reply and spend time for my post. So I guess it is not a truly trouble for newbies who usually need to spend more time to read and reply
  • Copper Membership gives some similar benefit as the Member rank, not Junior Member rank

Anyone can acquire a Copper Membership, regardless of their rank, activity, posts or merit scores. It just tends to make more sense purchasing it the lower the rank, simply because some of the perks are obtained per se as rank increases.
Really, I just realized it now. Thanks for the explanation. This means that Copper Member is an option to get some perks for those who still have limitations, especially newbie, but apparently anyone can have it even for appearances regardless of rank.

That's right. Some people bought it because the liked displaying the membership, not because they really needed it at all due to their rank.

About the copper member, can a user with 6 activity and 6 posts "or maybe more" still be able to purchase a copper member?

I just thought that only brandnew could purchase copper members, but I think my guess could be wrong if users who have had a lot of activity and posts can still purchase them. Anyone want to explain to me?

I seem to have missed something here a long time ago especially about copper member.  Embarrassed

Well, you don't have the requirements to be able to show images. Only jr. member and higher rank can only show the images you wanted to post and those who have ranks below jr. member won't be able to do so. You must rank your account first which need 1 merit and 30 activity points. You can research about the rank requirements or do what DdmrDdmr suggest which is copper membership that will remove the restrictions.

@op, all you  need to know about your query have been answered by the users above, but to add to all they've said, I did like to let you know that the fastest way to get the images you post to start displaying is to get a copper membership which currently sales around $25, but on the other hand, the cheapest way to get the images you post to start displaying is to rank up to a junior member level.
It takes merits(most important) and activity to rank up, and it takes good quality posts/contributions to earn merits, I am referring you to This Thread by @fillippone, you will learn alot from that post if you really want to advance here.

Besides what DdmrDdmr already said, there is another way in which your images can become visible in a thread or post. If a user with the appropriate rank quotes your post in a new reply, your images will show up in their post. Sometimes they will do that themselves, especially if the image deserves to be visible. If not, it could help if you asked someone nicely to do it by mentioning it in your post. I wouldn't recommend you PM anyone to do it though as that could create problems for you. Unsolicited PMs are against the forum rules!
That's way I have seen in some art contest where newbies are taking part and submit their entry but due to restrictions of the rank their images are not visible on the forum but other high rank members quote it for visibility and that could help him.

As suggested above @OP you could go through buying Copper Membership and post images lifting up your restrictions but you have to upload them on image hosting site first of all and then copy the BBcode and paste it here or

The other way around is that you earn 1 merit and 30 activity on your profile and as per system it will take you around one month to reach the desired activity as 14 points of activity is distributed every two weeks to active members.Earning one merit will depend on some good posts. So best wishes to you for it.

Your issue seems to be with the current Bitcointalk software (SMF; this one), and not with Epochtalk (new software in development). As such, the question should have been made either on Beginners & Help or Meta really.

Regardless, the short answer here is that you need to be either a Jr. Member (or above) for those images to be viewable for the rest, or acquire a Copper Membership, which comes with comes with some benefits besides being able to post images.

Note: Any further discussion on the matter should be carried out on the said boards.

Edit: I've asked for the mods to move the thread appropriately.
