Legendary, shall I think as a feasible objective for next halving?
Having the joy of the protocol being enacted for yet another time, being promoted to Legendary and maybe a decent bull run!
Only 882 merits left!

if you keep it up this way, chances are you will have enough merit to be a legendary member before required activities, unfortunately the activity is not something you can work on, it's annoying to say the least, and if a day passes without posting you miss the count. i hope that one day this "army" ranking system will not be used on the forum anymore and all the ranking becomes merit related only.
Sir @Fillippone, I have to be very frank with you. I have get the kind of motivation I got from you today for a long while as far as this forum is concerned. I joined the forum sometimes October last year and by next 3 months, I will be one year old as a registered member of the bitcointalk forum. What I have faced through out these period is a lots of ups and downs due to my inability to write effectively and my fear of being criticized of my opinions.

The truth is, I have doubted my knowledge about bitcoin even when I have taken good time off my outside schedules to learn basic knowledge about bitcoin on websites such as LearnMeABitcoin.com, I don't feel I know much yet to be bold enough to actively participate in discussions. That have kind of reduced my efforts to contribute actively. I have tried couple of time to improve on my posting, which I did, but I've not been brave enough to face it squarely.

To be honest with you, I just bookmarked your thread (this particular thread) on my browser and will be reading over it couple of times more. I have also visited a few links of other threads you attached and will be visiting more as I return back to the thread again. This is one of the most interesting all-in-one article I've seen in this forum which delves into a better part of the forum discussions such as the Merit system, Writing patterns, FAQs, Merit begging and other basic information the newbies need to hear about this forum.

The most motivating aspect of this thread was the first set of replies you got and how the response of those people became magical in its manifestation in your journey today. It shows how consistency in learning and participation bring about mastery in any field. Thank you for this please.

My advise and plea is for you to begin weekly columns on this forum to motivate other newbies and Jr. members like us to learn more. The best kind of knowledge is found in continuous learning and it can be achieved with experienced members like you. If the forum can allow that (weekly column), please attempt to try it out because so many of us will learn from it. Lastly before I forget, I wanted mentioning, there's no better board you could have posted this thread like the Beginners & Help and we hope to come across more of the soonest. Thank you once more!

That is good news as it sound more loud and more motivating, as it always a dream of any one with set goal to keep been promoted and move higher, this show that no effort of good work that don't have a reward even if the reward may not be instant one it may surely come, I felt deeply motivated working in an environment where progress is a watch word.

I really liked ke the fact that we are been encouraged but I'm not always active here I go off for months.

with dedication such as yours I believe anyone can rank up but if only we agree to sacrifice the time and line the right things we will surely achieve a high level of merit.

I haven't been here I don't even make any merit any more so it's very bad or me and I really appreciate you @fillippone for encouraging people like me.

I got there getting merits from a lot of BitcoinTalk members:

As a newbie in this forum coming across this thread really made my day better because it gave me an assurance that I will surely rank up some day, but for that ranking up to happen I need to buckle up if I really want results. Your merit history shows that you earned hundreds of merits in less than three months and you also ranked to legendary within three years and that says a lot about how much work you have put in your journey to become one of the reputable users in bitcoinTalk forum.

One of the things we (newbies) need to understand is that being patient and consistent in the forum alone without making good and quality post is a waste of time, at first when I joined the forum and I see most of the reputable users here have been around for years, I usually say to myself that before I spend up to three years I would be an expert (in my mind, I thought I would just get lucky one day and rank up overnight.Lol) I have seen users that registered in the year 2018 but are still in the jnr member rank.

All I see here is; hard work (quality posting) + patience + consistency = earning merits and ranking up faster. Congratulations on your achievements SIR.

Thank you all for the messages and the merits! I just noticed I’m halfway to Sr. member! Well done!keep on giving I will try to be generous too!

Wow! I see this thread was made long ago and then you were below full member and now, today, you are a legendary a big congratulations sir, and I believed you get to this height or level because you were determined, courageous, consistent etc and above all you set a target. However, I quoted this because you made a comment that looks like a promise that you will try to be generous reason because people have been generous to you back then though not everybody but today, tomorrow and forever you have proved what you said some years ago I mean you now have where you distribute merit regardless, indeed you are a principle person I don't mean to flatter you but fulfilment of word(s) needs to be congratulate cause there are many who say such but never make it happen even when they have gotten to that height or level. Once again thank you for your generosity  and I wish you more height to attain.

This is amazing! You know the journey you plan the least are the ones that gives you the most. I know you never planned at first that things will go this way. But it turned out like this. Indeed you should be a role model to most persons here on the forum. I have seen your contributions to the growth of the forum, how you created a thread that you merit often to individuals when they share their best post. Thank you filllipone you have really done well to other members and please keep up with the good deed. I now you have a good heart and you will surely contribute more to members of the forum.

Sorry for the disrespect, I humbly congratulate you for your achievement and your rank status. You have about  14007 merits now if there were higher levels of rank you would have gone beyond that. I dont know how long it will take me to achieve what you have. You are a genius.
