I actually agree that this is the more likely scenario--I'll say 60% chance you are right and there's a retrace soon. But what I've learned from bitcoin is that sometimes it just keeps going up and up and up, and a week later the price has tripled. These are low probability events, and I don't expect one to occur this week, but the point is I never really expect them to occur but all of a sudden they do.
Never sell all your bitcoins.
Guess I was wrong by at least $20.
Double top seems to be in for now at $610, with lowering volume since $570 buy spike, yet increasing volume seen on price dips.
Short at $590.

I don't think it's that easy. The US gov is going to say "wait a minute" and take a good long look at this. Stay tuned, things will get interesting, I see very cheap coins in the future. Okay go sell and hope for lower prices.

A bunch of Chinese investors triggered buys when btcs dropped to $450, hence why we saw them gobbling coins over the last few hours.

Until we get the full story about what's happened with gox there will be plenty of bumps and panics ahead.
I speculate that the next big story will be what happened to MtGox's bitcoin reserves. They cannot have disappeared into thin air. I speculate that management went into "damage control" once they realised their outstanding claims to off blockchain btcs amounted to 750k btcs. MtGox's reserves will have to pop up at some stage. What, keep on believing that the price could go either up or down and no one really knows for sure? I think I will.
