We all know January always the though months for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has just started to rise. I don't know it is real or only an another trap for price fall.

What do you think? Are we ready for rise? And Is it really good time for rise?
not yet the perfect time for bitcoin to rise. Bitcoin is still on recovery and price correction, although bitcoin already hit the bottom there is still some chance to go even lower.
From what I see, the chances for btc to drop is unlikely now because of the halving. There might be a minor correction that will happen but it will recover fast due to investors taking advantage the price. The start of this year is good for btc due to the price increase, its not consistent but just shows the possible growth now and for the coming days and months.

Considering Bitcoin went 100+% last year, I would say the best time to come back was last year. The second best time would probably be now. I think that last years trend will continue on and you'll see 100%+ or even better this year. With the halving coming up, the good year last year(since news will be reporting it), and the Ethereum update makes this a really good time to buy into Bitcoin. Wait for a dip of some sort and buy in!

I dont think January is the perfect time for bitcoin to grow, but base on bitcoin chart this is the most important month to decide will bitcoin go uptrend or downtrend. There are lots of good signal about bitcoin recover, volume increasing, new investors start to come in crypto. I believe that if bitcoin keep above 7k$ in January and we will have another great crypto currency season in 2020.

If you are risky you can go long now, if you want to follow trend then it would be better to wait a little longer and enter only after you get some confirmation on trend reversal. The bearish part can easily go on for another year or smth before anything changes. It is not even sure we will ever get another ATH fwiw... Being patient usually pays out cos in the worst scenarion you are only missing a little bit of profit and never get into super bad spots that are inevitable otherwise.

in my opinion bitcoin will rise because bitcoin in 2020 will be halving, this is certainly a time when everyone has been waiting for of course this will attract investors to buy bitcoin because the amount of bitcoin will decrease
During the previous two halvings the price dropped before the halving about 30%, it is true that after that we had some important growth but all of those expecting the market to grow before the halving could be mistaken in their interpretation of the circumstances the market will go through, it is better to be very attentive of what will happen in the market during those moments because as an investor our goal is to make the most money and losing 30% before the halving is not really the best outcome we can get.

The price actually dropped a lot more than 30% before the bull run came in leading up to the halving. In the months prior to all of the other halvings that have already happened, the price climbed up slowly and steadily. Then, for several months after the halving, the price actually took off like a rocket. This is the same trend that we seem to be seeing now. I fully expect the market to take off again for a few months after the halving. Just like it always has.

It's been a while since I waited for the market to get better but it hasn't happened until now, so what I did was not hoping for their increase but when there was an opportunity to take profits I would do it

When this thread was made that time Bitcoin's price was almost half comparing the current price. So, according to this, we are in a better position. In 2019, the Bitcoin price goes nearly 14K USD, which is more than enough! So, This year, as some big events are on the track, we can expect Bitcoin price at least at 20K USD!
I hope BTC will hit $20k too but the fundamental analysis doesn't cover your predictions. The recent market conditions are not promising to invest in the BTC and the altcoins. The risk factor changed a lot since the thread was created, maybe halving will show its effect on the recent market circumstances.
The current market is still supporting the Bitcoin and altcoin so it will raise at anytime. Nowadays those are believe the crypto hype they are all investing the BTC because anytime it will going to moon. We have more options in trading site so we can fix the perfect raise for each trading.

i dont know how many of the people here are ready for the raise. but it is a fact that most of us will not be ready because we scare that market will keep going bearish. that is why we can not dare to prepare enough for a possible bull.
It must be all of people. I don't even think if there will be some people that didn't wanna see their portfolios are going to the moon again. Dude, even if we are on the bearish market right now and it's possible to see the market will be getting a big bullish trend tommorrow. That's just the matter of time until people will realize about the crypto market right now is on the right way.

But we can't say that market is not better, check some prices from the beginning of this year and now, compare them, start with bitcoin of course. In just a year you could make x2 on your money, in July the price was even higher, if you sold back then you could earn some nice money. Generally this year we had some nice spikes where we could make some profit, so it's not like that the last year was bad. Many people have to big expectations, price didn't recover to previous ath and some people expected exactly that, new ath. Well you need to be a bit more patient for that.

those who are afraid are those who do not have a strong analysis of the market. when they can do a market analysis that has a strong enough sign of a bull coming there is no reason to be afraid of investing. if you are still afraid of the bear, you better wait for this market to be in the bull and you will regret it because you lost the moment.
Everyone will be very afraid if the money invested just disappears, that is why in the world of cryptocurrency we must have a mature plan and a strong market analysis before investing.  Reliable investors will always take advantage of the opportunities available to bring in money, because the main purpose is only to get profit.
I agree with you, fear will increasingly make us hesitate to take decisions, And in the end, we will regret it for losing the moment.

It seems to me that in 2016 and 2017, the situation on the cryptocurrency market was much calmer and everyone knew the prospects of the cryptocurrency in the future, but did not build castles in the air about what to expect in the near future.  Of course, you can understand that most cryptocurrency users dream of seeing the same bullish trend as they did in 2017, but each of us understands that we will not see such a cryptocurrency price increase for a long time, since many active investors have left the cryptocurrency market due to  losses and increased risk, and society is not very favorable in relation to cryptocurrency.  In addition, there are certain problems with some governments, which very often speak out negatively about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
The expectations for the price of bitcoin were huge as well in those years, the difference is that no one really knew if bitcoin will actually grow and it surpassed the wildest dreams of everyone and now everyone wants that to happen over and over again and that is not possible, even if 2020 is a positive year for bitcoin no one should expect the same kind of growth to happen again, you are never going to gain 20x profits with bitcoin in a single year like what happened in those years but you will still get some profits.

Do not give up on cryptocurrency investments. In fact, losses are common and everyone loses money, but you should know the correct coin knowledge, such as bitcoin. Now you can still buy Bitcoin, and in the future you will thank yourself for your current investment. This is a belief.

I completely with this.. Get knocked down and reevaluate your stand.. Losses are inevitable at some point

For me there are no certain months where bitcoin would have a good price, it would still depend on the market's movement from time to time no matter what. I have seen lots of times where bitcoin didn't went high on the same month with different year so I don't think it's practical to depend on the month of the year. The best you could do to know if there would be a rise sooner or later is through monitoring the market price of bitcoin as much as you can so that you can see if the movement is constantly going high or going low.

of course there is no specific month to be able to repeat the same thing if indeed in the past bitcoin price movements have increased in the same month, if events always recur then everyone can certainly prepare more carefully before there will be an increase in prices occurring
