Unlike recent ICO scam, it's safe to invest in Binance IEO because the chances of being the target of scammer is zero here but you can't be sure that you will get a good return or be profited. It depends on project potential and team members.

as for now it is good to invest in Binance ico project in as much as you can be able to get in to buy the IEO before it got listed on the exchange, there has not been any form of improvement from most of the IEO after listing on an exchange So you might consider buying it before launch, Binance IEO is safe at the moment not like bittrex IEO that got dumped so hard
My Opinion is the Binance ico platfrom is the safest.Binance is the most known exchenge for crypto at the momen.. But I listen it is not safe to invest for very long term.
Eventually, there will still be a risk of losing on the value but definitely no risk of getting scammed by fake team and project. If it is still not clear to you yet, binance's effect on this projects will have long term advantage after they lauched their IEO there. They are not only listed in Binance immediately but they will get a good reputation in the perspective of investors and traders.

I never try that because for me, the era of ICO is ended and now the IEO replace the places of the ICO. But if you believe that investing in binance ICO platform will give you a nice profit, then you can try but remember, don't use big money because the risk will always there, and you don't know if the project is good or not. It's better we know the limits we can invest than to use all of the money because that is not good for the money we have.
Yes, Instead of us, they are doing the background work in the market for the IEO. So it is very good to invest in Binance IEO because i won't bother much about the other exchange whether they will do the research part or not. Binance will do some work before listing about the company.

We have to check the reputation about the exchange because they are listing IEO based on their research, at the same time, we have to research about the company which they are listing the coin in the market. So Binance is always good for investing in IEO's.
Cant blame the out come only on binance side, sure more factors come to play when coins/tokens get traction or when.

Of course it is safe because binance is a top rated leading exchange. The problem us chances of buying coins. It's a huge competition there or any other IEO because of people thinking it as a good way of earning. Uou may end up buying nothing.

Crypto investments can never be considered as a safe investment and more particular the new crypto projects,even if it is hosted by the big reputed trading platforms like Bianance,You should know the risk of new crypto projects since it can turns out into scam as on the later stage as well. 
How is it safe? Fucking exchange not giving token to users. Perhaps Binance going to select participant by lottery draw from next Launchpad. If this is true then you can try your luck. But last time I have checked with Binance and Bittrex but unable to buy. They are holding token by themselves. So how we will get profit? Let's wait for Binance lottery and check what is going on. Not sure why had lost on BTT? Most likely you bought after ICO end. That's why I called them cheater.
There would be always some shady stuff that can possibly happen along the way as you presumed OP might able to purchase that BTT after the ICO end and losing up some money.About in their IEO launchpad i do say that they are safe but not totally safe in the sense that you might possibly buying those tokens too late and also in the sense of investment, just like on

There are no safes way to invest in cryptocurrency although you believe to the trusted platform. The platform just provide a place for investors to come to their platform but as the result you just rely on the project itself. It is same like some token that has been listed on the exchange but the token has no demand form the investor until the project gone and has no value.
