There are so many crypto "noobs" that are just looking for a quick buck or get (super) rich scheme. They will chase doge and memecoins and pump and dumps. They have no interest in learning about blockchain and the underlying fascinating concepts and technology.

With that said, education should be available and trustworthy. Someone commented that Binance (and other exchanges) is producing educational material. That's great. A platform that anyone can post always runs the risk of scammers and bad actors. But perhaps with enough users and super high number of upvotes the good content / videos can rise above the rest. Good luck - I did go and took a look at the site.

There is trouble abrewing
A platform that anyone can post always runs the risk of scammers and bad actors.

quite the opposite, a platform where everyone can post increases transparency while keeping things more decentralized and at the same time prevents centralization of power. lets say the owners of this exclusive place like binance that posts "educational" content didn't like something. what is to stop them from spreading wrong information and FUD about that thing?

but if anyone can post then even if a bad actor spreads wrong information everyone else would fight it.

It is time for a change!
The crypto space is not very noob friendly: bitcoin and blockchain are complex daunting topics; cryptocurrencies themselves are not very user-friendly; and the cryptocurrency space has gathered a bad reputation for being filled with scams. A small mistake sending coins from your wallet can cause you to lose your money and ruin your experience. So, while everyone has heard about blockchain and bitcoin, people are not only unsure how to get started, they are also faced with these high barriers to entry.

Remember that cryptocurrency market involves money and the risk is always there so never expect things like this as user friendly
The more you focus on learning is the more safer you come so don’t let noob to enter the market instead be knowledgeable first before putting investments inside so there’s no one to blame but ourselves

But thanks fo your concern because it really helps someone to have another ideas on engaging cryptocurrency

I can say that your website is a user friendly platform which is good for the beginners.
i get your point because when i was just starting i am really quite overwhelmed with some of the crypto currency related platforms
and before you cannot see a single site that has a scope of content to cater all the things that a newbie should know about cryptocurrencies.
all i can say is all projects should include how to contirbute with the mass adoption, so goodluck to your mission though its not clear if you are
an emerging altcoin project or just a cryptocurrency supporter.

It seems to me that it is enough to have a desire and analyze the market to understand the crypto space. Moreover, there is the best forum ever called Bitcointalk where you can ask anything you want about crypto. However, it’s not bad that there are such services that will help newcomers to understand out crypto, however it costs money

I have also realized overtime that lack of proper education of cryptocurrency is what is still disturbing a lot of us here, and this would back up my fact that fiat will not be completely replaced by cryptocurrency, if at the level of our intelligence and literacy, some of us are still struggling or battling with the use of Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, what do we now expect those who are not as literate as we, and those who are not even literate at all.

I support what you are doing really and I think this will really go a very long way in creating literacy about Blockchain generally, and helping those who are coming into the cryptocurrency space to know why they are here and also to effectively utilize all the opportunities available to the best of their knowledge.

With how you structured your post, I was made to believe that you are trying to point out something around crypto awareness or education. I thought it was about a new approach to counter the obstacles crypto noobs are facing in getting themselves familiar with it. And then I suddenly came upon "become an experienced crypto trader." Everything I was assuming was shattered. LOL!

At face value, your initiative looks great. I'm not saying I want to be a part of it. I'm just curious as to how you would proceed. How do you plan making "an impact and change the face of crypto space"?

Thank you for pointing out the  "become an experienced crypto trader."  it is one of our goals but definetly not our ultimate goal, have edited the OP to proper version.

It's really an issue that every user of cryptocurrency and bitcoin must be aware of. Especially the newbies and people who are planning to engage with crypto. I appreciated your concern regarding to it. It can really help people to be aware of what is bitcoin and what it can do to us.  Hope you'll succeed with it.

I totally agree that we need some kind of reputable "helpdesk" for newbies to contact when they want to know anything about Bitcoin. It is also a daunting experience to come to a forum like this and then to post your questions here, because people tend to be hostile towards people, when they repeat the same question and searching for a answer, might point you to some wrong information.   Tongue

When you use a wallet provider or an exchange, they usually have some kind of call centre that would respond to your requests, but when you know nothing about Bitcoin, searching for information might get you into trouble, because there are a lot of scam sites out there.  Angry

Good stuff, and yes that's good to hear. Moving forward to see more advertisement on it in social media so that there are many people will know how this crypto space works and how they can earn from it. Many people are afraid to invest due to lack of knowledge on it. Much better to focus on this part.

Very appreciate your kind words thanks. We believe we can spread the word and show them they can actually benefit from this technology. And as you mention lack of knowledge is a big problem we are trying to tackle. But with more support from the community we believe we can lower the barriers to entry and educate new comers.

If you want to give us a hand feel free to get in touch with me: [email protected]

Good initiative on helping noobs enter the cryptocurrency market. This looks quite a hard task to bridge the barrier between the cryptospace and the common people who are into learning about the cryptocurrencies. Earlier it was a easy thing to make noobs get caught in the hands of scammers who keenly keep focus on newbies.

You are very right my friend, many of new adopters were lost and hurt by scammers and never to come back again, and this is a problem we believe us crypto community have to tackle. That was one of the core reason why this initiative has started. We would like to hold hands of new adopters and show them a safe and easy path way in their early days.

Well we appreciate your concern to educate crypto noobs and greeners about how things work in this industry but i think learning crypto is not as difficult as you make it seem and those tiny mistakes that you mentioned above just occur on the ignorance of people. I don't understand how people tend to make mistakes of sending money to the wrong person. If it's about cases of fraud it's quite different, because we always admonish people to do a good research before proceeding with anything and there are so many popular and trusted sites to learn from. So why do some folks choose to do things their own way and later come and blame this amazing technology. I've never had any issue ever since i entered into the crypto industry.
Cryptocurrency is still difficult for practical use by ordinary people. There will be no mass adoption of cryptocurrency if its use is not simple and reliable. In addition, for many, there is a language barrier, which is also a significant obstacle if everything is not intuitively clear. People will not lose much time and look for scattered information in order to learn how to work with cryptocurrency. It will be easier for them to use other means of payment, especially if the first experience was unsuccessful. Therefore, I welcome any general cryptocurrency training people.

We also believe practical use is as important is theoretical understanding. For that very reason we have created our token economy so on beginners can gain the practical experience in a risk free environment. We call it risk free because the tokens they will have are given to them for their contributions and for their achievements not just purchased from an exchange.

On the mass adoption side we believe there are many things to be done as you described its use is definitely an important one, but for us the problem we would like to tackle is the high barriers of entry. We believe if we can somehow reduce these barriers more and more people will be able to join this community with much ease.

Hmm  you have a point but I think that's how it really goes. In every introduction of new technology there is always major adjustments to be made of course. Even if it is a new car, new phone or new appliances, you still caught yourself as a newbie, right?. It is all the same with cryptocurrency and I think that's normal. For this reason, we should continue educating the mass for them to further understand the essence of it and embrace it later on.
A small mistake sending coins from your wallet can cause you to lose your money and ruin your experience.
Copy-paste is not so hard and confusing to do. It never fails unless you are so careless and do not double check Grin.

As you mentioned above, in every introduction of new technology there are similar problems which is right. And if you look further into these techs you will notice that the ones which massively adopted ones are the ones with low barriers to entry. What I mean with it is, you will see those techs optimize their user experience for new comers. For a new comer to join and learn more about this tech is structured in way that people can easily can grasp it and then mass adoption begins. We have a similar aim here, we would like to lower the barriers to entry and make it clear and safe experience for new adopters.

Can you elaborate please? Are you going to compile all the knowledge of Bitcoin and Blockchain? Are you going to be like youtube? You should explain to us more instead of trying to partner with someone. I see the idea

Place a link here because a lot of people are doubting you now. Your idea is not bad but you lack information.

We don't want to be another YouTube, we won't even want to compete with Youtube but more hold hands with it. There great content crypto related content creators and there are very well made videos. We would like to compile these good content and content creators into our platform. After that, we create special sequences for beginners to follow. also we are not implementing different tests for users to measure their knowledge. and the cherry on the top is we do have a token economy integrated in all these, people are getting rewarded with participating tests, or contributing and evaulting the videos. One of the most important part with the token economy is we would like to establish the practical understanding in a risk free environment.

Do you have a whitepaper or proposal that we can read about your discourse? I'm still confused about what is TokenTuber, is this a new token or a new service? what are the goals and benefits provided? You talk about education on TokenTuber, meaning this will become an educational platform, right?

We have a whitepaper which I linked to OP and will give you the link here as well.  Briefly TokenTuber is an educational video platform featuring crypto exclusive content with a built in token economy. Our main goal with this platform is to help and boost the mass adoption of blockhain by making it more beginner friendly. We would like to guide new adopters and show them a path to follow so they can avoid major problems during their crypto journey.

It seems you are pretty much advertising  something here, Well I guess you should post a link on what it is, but if you are talking about the complicated things people go in taking knowledge about Bitcoin I really think that people would figure out just fine how Cryptocurrency works, Well the first time I encounter Bitcoin and cryptocurrency I am in a total blank in what I need to do, but eventually with the help of some friends and this forum site that lend me a hand in research and learning the basics of what to do, I guess there is no need for this, Self-learning is just fine in my opinion.

Actually we should not judge new things like this badly, if platform that will be established by @OP is good enough and interesting I think why not to support it. Not all newbie here have a close friend who knows bitcoin or wants to teach them, so we need a place for these newbie to learn. I myself will support it if it is interesting compared to other platforms, I will wait for further @OP clarity.

We believe if we can make people believe in us we can make a big impact in crypto community just by removing obstacles to enter crypto space, thus we are getting in touch with various KOLs of this space to be part of our movement also we believe each individual in this community can create a impact by being part of our exciting journey that is the reason we are looking global partners so we can reach more people and make this dream real.

Every market is not noob friendly if you don't educate yourself. So before you get your hands dirty in this world, you need to study and not just listen on everything you hear in Youtube. That's why we have this DYOR mantra here. It's not that complicated though, it's that people are in the rush to make money here and tend to believed that this is a get rich scheme, which is not.

You actually pointed out something very important  " it's that people are in the rush" we also noticed this they want to get to that space asap and while doing this they miss important stuff and get hurt later, another good point if yours is" not just listen on everything you hear in Youtube" we are aware these days there are too many crypto experts too many videos, articles talking about what is right and what is wrong but very few is actually gets verified or checked. These two points you mentioned are few of the reasons why we started this TokenTuber initiative, to speed up and guide beginner during the learning phase by offering quality and accurate information.

Contrary reason I didn't want to post our link was I didn't want you to see this as an advertisement. We believe in this technology and we believe it can make change this world for everyone and we want it to spread but we have seen many obstacles and one of the them is the obstacles beginners face and wanted to tackle this problem as that is only way to grow as a community.

On the self learning. we do agree with you it is possible and it can be done and it has been done by many people just like you, but if you like to target much larger audience and if you want mass adoption you need to improve this initial learning phase or otherwise we will lose people at the beginning phase. Again we are not a platform offering bitcoin 101 course we are more community driven education video platform featuring exclusively crypto related content to support people who are trying to self learn.
