Napoli once again failed to win which made them lose a lot of points in their last 5 matches. Napoli have only won 1 match in their last 5 matches in Serie A, which is a bad statistic after they won the title last season. Napoli are not at their best this season, in fact I truly believe they will fail to progress to the next round of the Champions League when Barcelona are the opponents.

Atalanta, who have not played their 18th match, is likely to surpass Napoli in points and make Napoli drop to 8th place. Roma also has the opportunity to create a safe distance if they can win their next match against Juventus, but that is difficult to become a reality. The new tournament is said to offer participants twice as much money as the Champions League and I don’t see any reason why clubs should refuse this.

I would say that Juventus and Inter are the only two teams that are fighting for the top spot, with Milan probably trailing to be the third if all goes according to the plan. I mean of course a team could do like 10 wins in a row and change the seating, or some team could have some terrible loss streak and drop lower, those are quite possible, but unless something quite unlikely happens, we are going to see these standings.

That means that we do not really need to wait for the rest of the games to make a speculation, not like some mid table team will suddenly win every single game and win the title, that's not going to happen. It's either Juventus or Inter, nobody else realistically have any chances of winning the league title at all. Mathematically possible and realistic are very different two things, yes it's mathematically possible for even Napoli to win the league again, but do you think that would be realistic? Of course not, so we should not really expect much.

Everyone thinks that Inter Milan is the favorite against Genoa. I also considered Inter Milan as the favorite. But we haven't seen a good performance from Inter Milan in the away match against Genoa yet. The first half ended in a 1-1 draw.  For Monza, they didnt mind a draw as it was better than a loss  but Napoli fans weren't impressed by the game as they expected more from their team and instead of goals, they got cards.

I thought Napoli was going to take this opportunity to turn things around for themselves but the reverse is the case, they played at home yet they couldn't utilize their home advantage against the Monza side , this goes further more to show that Napoli has lost their touch and may continue to decline further until something is done to boost the morale of the Napoli squad. Napoli was once known as one  of Italian elite football club but they are far from that status right now as a result of their sudden decline, they are the defending champion yet they seem like a team that just gained promotion into top flight, they have to start gearing up because there's alot to play for.

Napoli already ended, how do you expect them to scored without Victor Oshime who was red carded in the last game they played in the Seria A against As Roma.
Monza should be the happiest because they got to squeeze a point out of this game against the defending Champions of Seria A.

Inter Milan are the better side of them both but they should get tough game since Genoa would definitely be at home during this game.

Atalanta should win honestly, they was the best side against Bologna during the last game, they should have won the game Ademola Lookman did very well to help them will.

Napoli is very far from defending their serie A title. This have been a complete opposite of what they were last season and it's very sad. With the drama they had with their best player and the league's best player victor osimhen I think the problem in the team would be lasting for a long time.
The present coach is still trying to find the vest formation for the team but in the long run i think there is no future for Napoli with the coach.

Gosh, Napoli only drew the same 0-0 after being kept quiet by Monza and this was a poor result at home. To be honest, I didn't watch this match but if I look at the statistics there is a fierce match between the two teams. Not a few cards have been issued by the referee, proving that there were many fouls in this match.

Fiorentina managed to defeat Torino 1-0 at home.Ranieri's goal in the 83rd minute gave Fiorentina the 3 points, raising their points tally to 33 and putting them in 4th place with a game in hand.There weren't many scoring chances in the match and both teams played a balanced game.Fiorentina won with home advantage.
Napoli are not doing well in the league.After failing to win against the out of form Monza, Napoli continue to lose points at home.Napoli started the match well and played well throughout the match but they are not as effective in front of goal as they used to be.If Pessina had not missed a penalty in the 68th minute, they would have lost to Monza at home.The team needs to recover as soon as possible otherwise it will be difficult for them to close the points gap with their rivals.

Fiorentina's match against Torino has ended and Fiorentina got three points from this match which makes them now in fourth place in Serie A. Of course, this victory is good for them so that they still have hopes of winning fourth place because in another match, Nopoli failed to win against Monza which ended in a draw, and Napoli is now ranked 7th behind As Roma.

Even though the tussle for the Serie A trophy is still on and they're striving to stay in shape. Even though Vlahovic is rumoured to leave Juventus soon, it's kind of a bad news for the club but they've just got to find a replacement for him.

 For the player, he shouldn't feel too relaxed that the team's glory and progress is shielding his flaws. He ought to do better than he's currently doing to ensure his starting choice with another team. To also prevent his flaws from being evident and reason for the next team's failure. He's good, he only needs to work and improve on his abilities.

Still, 0-0 for Napoli, is another bad news incoming for them?

For Napoli the Coppa Italia didn't matter, that's the only reason they lost with a big score, although I also think it's a shame for them. But now in the game against Monza, Napoli are playing well. If the second half will be similar to the first half, then maybe Napoli will win.
