Even though he is 37 years old, Giroud is still Milan's mainstay. His performance is still the same as last season and he is still relatively sharp as an attacker. However, in the past month he has not been able to score a goal, perhaps this is not related to his performance but rather the scheme implemented by Pioli which has resulted in him failing to get a large supply of balls.

Giroud's contact with Milan will end this year and there are no signs of serious discussions regarding his contract, but I think the French striker deserves an extension for another season. The Chelsea player's steady performance is still worth relying on, and I'm sure he will receive offers from other clubs if he becomes a free agent. it is possible that a Saudi Arabian club will sign him.

It depends on whether the player who will replace him can play better than him or not, because if the player is better, then the choice to replace him with another player is better. And I agree that if the player who replaces him can't play better then Giroud is the better option.
I think age affects it, however age is one of the factors that cannot be avoided by a player. Maybe regeneration is also an option, I mean they don't have to let Giroud leave, but they have to prepare young players who can replace him.

Empoli vs Udinese, This is a battle between two weak guys at the beginning of the season in Serie A.
Even though Empoli won 1 match, they still have few points. Under Aurelio Andreazzoli, Empoli is still the worst attacking team in the tournament, scoring only 1 goal and having the worst defense with 16 goals conceded.
The Udinese team has not won a single victory until now. Coach Andrea Sottil's chair was shaking violently. If he can't help Udinese win, I don't know if he can continue to sit in that position anymore.

Some interesting games this week, starting with the Derby for Juventus.

This derby is interesting for fans of these clubs, for some reason in my memory this pair is associated with dull games and a score like 1-0. The only game interesting for me is Lazio - Atalanta, both clubs have problems and they both want to get 3 points. In general, the games will take place after the European Cup games, so I don’t expect great results in this round.

It must be admitted that group F is more difficult than the other groups, AC Milan has not been able to win and has not even been able to score a goal in the UCL this season. Milan needs to improve its performance and create lots of opportunities in the next match. If this is not achieved, there is little chance that Milan will qualify for the round of 16. Regarding Inter Milan, Simone Inzaghi squad was considered more promising in two matches. One draw and one win, even though they are currently in second place in group D, I predict Inter can qualify as group winners.

In Serie A, both clubs have the same points, but the statistics for the number of goals conceded by Inter are fewer, Inter leads the standings and is followed by their city rivals in second place. I think Napoli will have difficulty defending the Scudetto this season, I agree with you, Inter and Milan are the favorites to win the Scudetto at the end of the season.

Inter I think is a sure thing that will qualify further because I am pretty sure they would have not the slightest difficulty of beating Salzburg in both games and also I think they can beat Benfica at Benfica home while at home they should also be able to beat Real Sociedad,so I don't see Inter in a bad position no matter that actually they are 2nd in the group with equal points like Sociedad.They were the finalists of this league last year and they are again a truly strong contender for the title of Champions again.

Milan is a bit weaker and I don't know if they will manage to qualify or not as the things are pretty complicated in this group and teams are a bit stronger compared to the ones in Inter group.

It should be remembered that last season Milan in the Champions League was not too good even though they could be in the quarter-finals but when looking at the record of the matches they did in the group phase was actually not too different from this season because last season they were also only able to 3 wins and 1 draw in the Champions League group phase.

Against Genoa they are definitely favorites but don't underestimate this club because sometimes they can be ferocious even though sometimes their performance is not too erratic but in the last few matches especially when Genoa played Roma they are quite fast in fast counter-attacks so this needs to be anticipated but I don't think it will be difficult for Milan's 3 points.

So in essence, AS Roma must show a very serious performance and must really work together with the team, in order to win the match in this match. You are right that Lukaku has incredible goalscoring ability. However, consistency of performance is a factor that needs to be considered.

I think when they gave Giroud a chance this season and he kept scoring for a few games, it led them to believe that this can work out for a while and I think it's right. Never change a running system. But things can change quickly when the player is already quite old, which is true for Giroud. I am sure that AC Milan won't just naively rely on Giroud being fully available for the years to come and also to deliver on the same level permanently. But they noticed that it works for the moment and why not stick to it then? They have enough speed with Pulisic and Leao and Giroud is a real number 9. But I think for next season it is already time to watch out for a striker with better pace. It's quite likely that Giroud will also be more susceptible to injuries.

Some interesting games this week, starting with the Derby for Juventus.

Juventus and Torino, say nothing more about that game cause it'll end a draw between. Juventus are disappointing. Reasons to me vexed could be as a result of over expectations.

Ac Milan also with all the attacking players signed in couldn't get a goal against Borrussia Dortmund, how can they when they eventually face Genoa at home. My prediction for that game should be less than a goal witnessed in the first half.
